The gas to my rental was cut off because…read morethe of my neighbor, when I called the people at Mark Browers they agreed it was ridiculous, I didn't receive a call back, so I called them back, and I was told their hands were tied. So they had an answer waiting for me I just wasn't important enough to call back. There are planning to leave me without Gas for over a week meaning I have no heat in the lows of 45 degree weather, can't do any laundry, can't cook any food, don't have any hot water. This is how they will leave you if you rent from them. Save yourself the trouble and find literally any other company. I've since asked for a rent reduction for the days I won't be able to live in the home, but as usual like every other time I call or email, I have no gotten a response.

Lo and behold after we moved out Denali charged us $500 for carpet cleaning on top of everything else from our deposit saying that the carpet needs to be re-cleaned because they said it smelled like pet urine. We do not have any pet and the only slight smell we noticed after the cleaning was the chemical from the carpet cleaning treatment. Also, we accidentally took the garage opener in our car and Denali asked us to mail it to their office. We did and they charged us with garage replacement fob even after asking us to mail it. Not actually rent the property and pay on time. Why does it take weeks to send out a technician to fix anything? Yes, we had scorpions in the beginning when we first moved in we mentioned it and all they said, was " tenant is responsible for pest control. " Terri Young has her days, some days she is nice and pleasant other days she is a bit dismissive. She does try to resolve the issues, but whoever is over the maintenance line is going to frustrate you. Again expect to be the handyman or technician. They ask for you to be the technician/handyman so you can try and figure out the issues of the maintenance request. Versus just sending out a "licensed " technician in the first place. Not sure how this place received 4 star or higher when issues arise and they throw the issues back on the owner either not responsive or taking forever to respond. Only rent from this property management company if you have not found any rental properties at a cheaper price. Nightmare on Stratton Street coming to a neighborhood near you.

It can be frustrating and worrisome to be a property owner when you aren't anywhere nearby, but I had total trust in Brandon to take care of things. He led a few renovation projects for me and was always able to get good tenants in quickly. When it came time for me to sell the place recently, I turned to Brandon, who is also a real estate agent. He again managed some reno projects to freshen up the place for sale -- all without me having to come to AZ. The townhouse sold within a week of it going on the market at a very good price, better than I'd hoped. I had to pay a commission for Brandon's services as a real estate agent and an additional commission to Apartment Hunters, since he was working in that capacity. It was a little pricey but I felt it was well worth it for me to have peace of mind and not have to worry about doing any of the prep work myself. I'd recommend Brandon to anyone in the Phoenix/East Valley area needing property management services or real estate services.

Never notified the owner, Tenants moved out and left a pile of trash that has been sitting in front of the house now since Thursday. It is leaking chemicals, spoiled food and now maggots. The house is totally destroyed by this tenant who the police has been called 8 times on for various violations. This home owner, sadly, is in for a serious shock at the amount of money it is going to cost to totally renovate this home that is less than 1 1/2 years old. Sadly, I feel they absolutely did not screen these past tenants who by all accounts it was a drug house. Neighbors have tried to contact this company and they won't even acknowledge our concerns.

This review could have been much different if it weren't for Zen Rent refusing to send us our…read moresecurity deposit. They had agreed to issue our full deposit back which we have in writing. After waiting a few weeks and not receiving the check we reached out and were told that the check was mailed in full but they could not provide a tracking number or any proof that it was sent. We have informed delivery through the post office and have verified with them on numerous occasions that we never received anything from Zenrent. Once we told them, they sent us a document telling us we'd have to pay a fee to have the check voided and reissued. We reviewed our lease and Arizona state law extensively and confirmed that they cannot make us pay a fee to have the check resent when it was not delivered due to no fault of our own. We have sent many emails to Ella along with many phone calls and voicemails, all which have gone unanswered. We've cited the laws that clearly explain that what they're trying to do is illegal. We did not want to make a big deal out of this but it's now been two months since we moved out and we still do not have our security deposit and their incompetent office staff, mainly Ella, refuses to answer any communication attempts. We've now had to seek legal council and will be sending a demand letter before being forced to go to small claims court to have our deposit resent. We were great tenants who never had any issues during the time we rented with this company, we spent an entire month cleaning the house upon move out, they agreed to pay the full deposit back, and now this is being dragged to court over the office trying to illegally force us to pay unnecessary fees.

He will only communicate via email, takes days or weeks to reply to emergencies, he will insult you by calling you names, and move you to a month to month lease for requesting things more than once, even when he takes weeks to reply. Never in my life have I seen a property management company run so unprofessionally. If you're looking for a property in AZ, you're better off going to one of the thousands of apartment complexes or houses owned by larger companies. If you have low credit or low income, they will only rent to you because they know you do not have the means to sue them later. The quality of Arrow Property management is reflected by their employees and website, trash.
