I have used this realty company exclusively for my properties in Arizona. I bought my properties through them, they rent them, market them and take care of all the complaints and repairs required for me for the past 15 plus years. If I didn't trust them I would have left them years ago. Mario Montoya has been with me for the past several years and I have full trust in his abilities to manage all these properties on my behalf. In the past month alone, one of my properties was abandoned, another house needed a new air conditioner, another house needed a new fridge, etc. Ariana Jaynes, the newest star to step up with getting my abandoned property renovated, painted, new carpets and coordinating all the bids and getting the renters happy. She is energetic and treats me with the upmost respect. She got that abandoned house up and running in a week . Mario and Ariana had that property rented before the work was completed. We rented from them this past year. Some aspects were good with them handling requests, but it did take some time for our AC to get fixed, and our refrigerator which we did have to get multiple people to come out. However, we recently just moved out and to make sure we got our deposit back we hired a maid and a landscaper to make sure the house was spotless. But they charged us $750 for sanding the walls and to repaint normal wear and tear. (I do have a video of how the house looked after and we patched all the holes). They also did not contact us when they inspected the house which we were told on our move out sheet. It took them a month to go look at our house. So since it took them this long, they also charged us for a landscaper which we already paid for and they took all the weeds out but it's been raining and they didn't look at it for about three weeks, so there were obvious some small weeds which they charged us again for landscaping. They stole money from us so I hope this doesn't happen to you. read more

My earlier review is solely based on working with Mario Montoya and once he has moved the new management did not give a shit about my properties, let it go down the drain caused leak damage which i specifically requested to fix a year back but Ariana decided to drop the ball and was unwilling to accept her responsibility either. And the new management person Ron feels he is too good to even respond to emails and concerns of homeowners. I still have my grievances unresolved and might have to go down taking some legal actions as they have withheld property reserves and other charges which accounting department has stopped responding to concerns. Honestly it started off good during our rental but I notated several things when we moved in. We even replaced the blinds that were already damaged when we moved in again I took pictures of everything. We had water damage for months and they sent someone out twice first repair guy never found it (barley looked) so I requested them to send a supervisor and they did. He stated the entire upstairs tub/ shower would need to be replaced which it NEVER happened it! It continued to leak and from the sounds of several other professionals that came out that leak had been there way before, more than likely years before we even rented and all they've been doing is painting the downstairs ceiling to cover it because that's where the leak happens at. There's multiple cracks in the ceiling downstairs in what we called a playroom/office area that's where the water came out from the upstairs bath tub and anytime you used the shower it would leak water everywhere! There's obvious water damage! The supervisor that came out was nice but did say to replace that entire tub it would be costly and that they no longer made that tub that was there. He also mentioned there's possibility that mold could go to the room next to it (YAY don't we all love mold!) Hence why they probably never replaced it to begin with. I also had the top kitchen cabinet swing and hit me when I was opening it holding my baby mind you this was another thing I marked when moving in all they did was staple it together. When we moved out we got charged for blinds even though we replaced them and I do have receipts. The blinds they had were cheap and tore extremely easily, I gave them a upgrade for the blinds since the cheap ones they had were not instock but again got charged for it still. So if you're moving out don't bother fixing anything they'll charge you regardless. I'm not sure what the cleaning fee $500 is for when they'll add another cleaning fee $1068 on top of it, I've never heard of a specialized deep cleaning fee. The walls weren't painted before we moved in either but they charged us for that too as they say when moving out don't worry about it cause we will handle it it's laughable they'll handle it and charge you 960 to paint. So in return you'll get your deposit sent back on the VERY last day possible. So you're not really getting it back in their window of 14 business days. They strip it down so much that it's barely anything even left from your deposit. So good luck if you choose to rent from them. They also had a bunch of management drama and boy did we hear so much of it when having repair people come out ugh. They do have new management and that was part of the drama. Hopefully this helps someone else. Good luck I'm sure there's other great rental companies out there. If you do choose them still, take pictures of everything and document everything. Again not worth the headache at all! Hope you guys put the money to good use and actually fixed the property CORRECTLY! It's back on market already for viewing so I'm sure the water damage and leak have not been fixed (probably painted though) so to the new tenants GOOD LUCK! Looks like 533 W Guadalupe Rd Unit 1044 Mesa, AZ is for rent again. Please have a mold tester pull out the Dishwasher to verify the black mold is gone. Please verify the water damage behind the entire cabinetry below the sink has been replaced. Please verify the entire A/C walls and closets have all been replaced. The Mold inspector said the entire contents of the entire A/C system all the way to the outside wall all needed to be replaced. That is half of the entire kitchen. read more

I have had some minor issues with them as landlords, but while Shane Goff and I had a bad initial relationship, he seemed to be willing to start working with me when things didn't go perfectly with fixes and things like that. For the record, they have always been on point in getting performs fixed. My issues were how they went about doing so in regards to working with me and scheduling things appropriately in a manner that worked for all parties, especially us, the tenant. We didn't want to rent to someone with a dog but Red Brick assured us we had the $2,000 deposit for damages or repairs. Red Brick did not stand behind this statement. They said the carpet was old. In less than a year the dog ruined all carpet, every throw rug but one, peed on the sofa, loveseat and recliner. The owner didn't pick up dog poop from yard and some dog poop even found under the sofa. My area rugs were taken, dishes taken, plantation shutters broken. Refrigerator left dirty, honey stuck in kitchen cabinets. Lower cabinet hinges sprung so they don't shut right. Oh, AND there were TWO families living here per several of our neighbors who live here all year! Thus is a 55+ neighborhood and only 2 adults meeting that requirement were on the contract. Worst experience ever. Once contract was signed Mario was hard to contact. Never again. Irresponsible property management, negligent. Didn't stand behind their word. Damages well over $5,000. This company is a scam. Not only are they breaking the fair housing law by taking in multiple applications and discriminating the ones they don't like. They charge 75$ per person for a credit check and an admin fee of 200$(non-refundable)...... Since that's the case, they take in multiple applications and encourage possible renters to do so hoping to get their non-refundable payments. They also never informed of other applicants that applied until I started asking questions about getting approved. Karma will bite them in the rear, just a matter of time. read more

While I enjoyed my time at the property, the staff, and Mario Montoya in particular, were highly unprofessional. It took 4 phone calls and several weeks just to get a copy of or lease after move-in. Similar wait times were experienced for a pressing maintenance issue. Lastly, a sizable percent of our security deposit was withheld without explanation. This mgt company is a joke they charge late fees because they did notify everyone changed suites in the same building never change the their website either till sept 15. That's only because I sent them an email. Ended up taking the landlord and owner to small claims court. Guess what we won when they got the property they never did walk thru just showed pics from the day the owner bought it. We encountered termites incorrect wiring they blew out the TV and pc. I have been using Red Brick Property Management to manage a rental house I have in Peoria. I was managing the house myself, but was tired of getting maintenance calls at odd hours, dealing with maintenance people, dealing with delayed rents, etc. I called Mario and asked about their services. After 2 years, they've delivered everything they promised on my original call. One thing I particularly like is that if something at the house does need maintenance, I'm charged what it actually costs to fix, not an inflated price. Some times it's even less than I could have done the work for myself. The monthly fees are very reasonable. Everything is organized and I receive a monthly statement. I don't have to have a large amount held in escrow for repairs, and the renters they placed in my property have always paid on time and are caring for my property as if it was their own. My husband and I moved out of the country last month and were faced with the difficult decision to rent or not rent out our beautiful home in the gated community of Las Sendas in East Mesa. Our biggest fear was finding tenants who would treat our home as well as we did. After speaking with several other property management companies (some who were terrible at returning our calls), I stumbled upon Red Brick Property Management after reading some of their stellar internet reviews. At my initial consultation, I met with Mario Montoya. I was impressed with his eagerness to help, professional demeanor, and promise to find great tenants. We had a few repairs that needed to be made to the home in my absence, and Mario and his associate, Shane, came to my rescue when I could not be there to ensure that the work was done properly. They also had a second foundation company come and do an inspection (at no charge, I might add!!!) after a company I hired in December told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of repairs to my foundation. It turned out I needed no repairs at all...just changes to my irrigation system. My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised that Mario and Shane were able to find fantastic tenants almost immediately, and with more rent income than we anticipated! i rented a house with them on February 2015. the house has not been in good conditions since day one. they gave the house to me with bad landscaping, the house is literally falling apart every month the goes by gets worse. we are on august and today is my 6 day with no a/c with temperatures of 95 degrees. they have come to check the a/c but they have not fixed it yet. for the first two night we had to stay at a hotel but money is limited so we had to go back home and of course they wont pay for that. i mention to one of the employees that we had a 2 yr old living with us and they didn't seem to care. we were living in the house with no a/c and one of the employees made us drive from phoenix to queen creek and the drive was 1 hour to pick up a small unit that looks like a fan that can not even cool a room so now we are on the master room with 3 fans and the stupid little unit. i have send several emails and left voicemail and all i have in return is that the owner has to see which way to go to fix the a/c can you just fix it and charge him later i have payed my rent every month for $838 and now he doesn't have enough money to fix it. is ridiculous I'm just waiting for my lease to be up so i can move out of this house. please save your time and energy and don't rent with this company read more
