Cappola's is excellent good chicken cheesesteaks too. I thought the pizza was as good as any or better.

Ordered delivery which did come promptly but they were out of multiple items from our order including American cheese? The only alternate was mozzarella. The batter on the chicken parm was greasy but the meat lovers pizza was the best meal from our large order. read more

I quit going to this place several years ago, but I couldn't remember if it was the food or the service that kept me away. So yesterday (Saturday) I went again. Got there at 8:15 only to find they closed at 8:00. So today, I called at 4:20 just to make sure they were open. I was told that they took the last order at 7:00 and closed at 8:00. So I headed out and started calling in the order about 5:30. Their phone rang 15 times with no answer, so I hung up and tried again. In fact, I tried 7 more times. The first six, it rang 15 times each time and the last it was a busy signal. When I got there, I walked in and told them I think they have a phone problem, and the guy that I think is the owner told me he was closing early to go somewhere. I asked if I could order something and with a great deal of attitude, said "you're here so you may as well." I ordered a large pizza and while he was getting the dough out, I said I'd like a calzone also. He looked at me like I just ran over his dog. At that, I said screw it, with an F, and walked out the door, for the last time. Even if he would have made it, how can you still have an appetite after having to deal with this level of attitude. And my degree of being ticked off, is nothing compared to what it would have been if I'd have gotten there ten minutes later and they would have been closed already, before 6:00. And all this could have been avoided if the addle minded management would have just answered the phone and said they were closing early. read more

Amazing experience, who would know this delicious pizza was going to be in the middle of all the frozen tress, lakes etc.?!!?!!!!???? **Am glad we found this Gem, it was cold and we wanted to eat something before heading the rode. The owner *Mike, who's originally from Brooklyn NY has been leaving here in PA since 1974. He was so welcoming and charismatic, specially with the little ones, The place was full of games and Candy and pretty clean. It felt so homey and comfortable. Perfect start to our trip back home. The pizza was just Delicious!!! The cheese melts as you pick up your slice (use your imagination) hungry?! Lol and the sauce is tangy with the right amount of sweetness. I couldn't stop eating, We order a pie over the phone half pepperoni and half cheese. We got there and devour the first pie having to order a second one :p. Delish is the word. Ordered a large Hawaiian pizza and an antipasto salad. The salad alone would get a 5 star review. I was excellent. The pizza was also tasty. The crust was great. The only reason I hesitate to give it 5 stars too is the ham was on the salty side but all in all I would go back. Order was called in and was ready when promised. read more

Great pizza, Great Italian food, very reasonable. I was a bit worried when we first moved here from New york that there wouldn't be good food. Fortunately we found this place on our second day there. The Pizza is just like New York style pizza. The guys are super nice. And the place is clean. The prices are very very fair. Not much of a restaurant, definitely more for take out, but eating in is an option. There is a problem with parking, I seriously feel like an accident is a real possibility every time i enter or exit the place. read more

It's a little out of the way, but if you're in the area do yourself a favor and stop in. Would give it zero stars if I could.. called and order a meat calzone for pick up. Asked the person on the phone if I will be able to pay with credit card because I wasn't sure if they accept credit , never been here before. I was told yes credit will be fine. Got there and who I believe to be the owner rang me up. It was $8.50, gave him my credit card and told me thier is a 10$ min for credit.. told me to by a soda . I told him the lady who took my order said a cc would be fine he was told me she was new and didn't know any better . I told him well all I want was a calzone and your talking 1.50$ he made a stink about but said ok.. I couldn't believe he was trying to extort another 1.50 put of me told him last time I come here so he takes the calzone back and and told me good day.. I told him enjoy your calzone. Delicious, fast and friendly. Been going for years and it's always great! Try the Calzones..they are my favorite. Their sauce is the best. And the Chicken Parm rounds it out for us!
