Lots of meat toppings and good crust; a little soggy in the middle of the pizza, so tough to eat a slice with your hands. The sub was good too, although could have used a little more sauce. Everyone was friendly and fun. The dining area looked clean and inviting. The service was good. The pizza was not. I ordered a Large Mama Special (?) and the crust was wet and practically raw. Bummed me out because it cost over $35! One way to fix that wiggly crust would be to pre-cook the veggies so the liquid content doesn't affect the crust the way it did. Another way would be to cook it longer - letting the crust crisp up. Just a suggestion folks. The pizza is ok, everyone needs to stop comparing pocono pizza to New York pizza just because it's cut like a triangle doesn't mean it taste like nyc pizza. It may resemble nyc pizza but way smaller and not the same crisp or taste but it's edible. The Beef patty with coco bread and cheese is over priced. We've not been to the Pocono's in over six years. Mamma Maria's was one of our go to place for a good Italian meal. Our Party of four we had eggplant parmigiana was delicious, shrimp fra diavalo was just the right amount of heat, veal parmigiana was delicious, spaghetti and meatballs were good, everyones pasta was Al dente, our salads crispy and fresh, the bread was just ok. Absolutely delicious! We are picky with our pizza ( originally from Brooklyn) and travel all over the Poconos to try places out, have to say super happy we tried this place out. We ordered a medium pizza half pepperoni and a grandma pizza. Our grandsons loved the pepperoni pizza, as of course grandpa did too lol and the grandma's pizza was super delish! The sauce !!!!!! Yum. For delivery, Mamma Maria's is tops! Huge portions that'll feed you right. The Italian Hero made multiple people in my framily very happy (and these folks are...particular...when it comes to a proper Italian Hero!). Their bread is really good. Pasta dishes (we had ravioli and Chicken Parm) were both solid. The most impressive part was how fast the delivery arrived considering it was a large family order (everything in the order was correct and arrived at proper temperature) + the delivery guy having to go through the folks at the gate + our rental house being another 5 mins drive from the gate. And the delivery guy respected the 'No Contact' delivery request. If we're ever vacationing in the area again, we know what our first night meal will be! read more

I enjoyed the pizza and garlic bread that I ordered, but the cost was crazy expensive. Large pepperoni pizza was almost $27, garlic bread was $9, and with UberEats fees (the person who answered the phone at Mama Maria's said they don't take any phone orders for pickup or delivery) and tip, I paid $54 for just pizza and garlic bread. I wasn't a fan of the pizza the shrimp scampi was alright. My son enjoyed his chicken tenders but was upset they didn't send ketchup for the fries or the burger. They could have included condiments and utensils as we are staying at a hotel. We were staying at an Airbnb in the area and discovered this delectable Italian restaurant . We had the lasagna which was loaded with cheese and an amazing sauce. My wife had a delicious chicken Parmesan hero. The bread was soft and soaked up the sauce nicely. Great local restaurant for a good meal. It's certainly nothing fancy but the pizza is actually really good. We've had meals here several times and have alway had great service and good food. They don't have draft beer but the do have nice, cold bottled beer. read more

Party of 20 showed up out of the blue. Sweet vibe in here, adorable waitress and waiter. We got the grandmas pizza because of the reviews on here. It was delicious. It didn't LOOK as good as it did in the photos here, and the crust was softer than I expected, but it was delicious. been to mamma mia's several times and was always pleased with not only the food but the service as well. today my husband ad i stopped to have lunch. he had veal marsala which was absolutely delicious. along with it came spaghetti and we requested the same marsala sauce be put on the spaghetti... delicious. a salad was served with delicious salad dressing and italian bread before the entree.. i had a meatball parm hero and had to take half home... there again delicious. we are happy to have a go to place that is always good. i would definitely recommend going there. read more

We recently moved to area and were looking for dinner. Of course with everything going on take out was our only choice. The last time we visited we tried the pizza at Mamma Maria's and it was a hit. Last night we had the lasagna, chicken Alfredo and fried diablo as entrees. They were all huge portions (enough for lunch today) and tasted super fresh and home made. Came in yesterday while on vacation for a margarita pie & it was mind blowing how delicious it was. The sauce, cheese, flavor, crunch in the crust - just everything! They were super nice and had one of my fav tv shows on. I will absolutely be returning my next visit. Probably the worst Spaghetti and Eggplant and Chicken Alfredo Pasta I have ever eaten. Absolute tasteless, portions were good size but food was terrible for the price. I can't comment on the pizza, Stromboli's and Calzones which could be better. They should just stick with the quick pickup foods and forego the dinner plates. They probably do ok for business since it's the only pizza joint for miles in the middle of nowhere. read more

The pizza here is basically NY style. When we went here today, the chef wasn't here so the food came pretty slow. They have a lunch deal 2 slices and 1 soda for $5. Pizza tasted good, no complaints. We also got chicken wings and the guy asked us how spicy we wanted, we told him spicy. It's so funny that the wings were extremely spicy, my mouth was burning lol It was probably the spiciest food we ever ate from a restaurant. We love spicy food so we enjoyed it a lot!!!!
