We popped into this restaurant after a long day of skiing. I was craving Eggplant Parmigiana and carbs are a necessity after lots of physical activity. I recommend Big Papa pizza. It is a small independent pizzeria. It is relatively simple. The menus are via QR code. There are plastic menus in the store however they don't list the prices. The service is quick and very personal. The ambience is basic but quite satisfactory. We tried the two medium pizza for $24 special. The special is only there if you bring cash. It was very kind to our family and even threw in some garlic knots just for fun. This is a great spot to get a bite to eat, which is much less expensive than local water parks. They stole our money. We ordered pizza on Friday 3rd 2026. Prior to ordering from this establishment through slice app we were given 30 minutes delivery time window. After ordering it was over an hour and we were given 6:56 PM as our delivery time. 7:15 we attempted to call the store no one picked as we were still waiting. We kept calling no one picked up. We called slice multiple times and they attempted to reach them but we were told no one was answering. Between 7:15 to 8:30 I waited outside our hotel , checked with the front desk staff, no pizza . We had to place another order at old Tony's which we had to drive to pick up our food , throwing all our evening plans off. We checked back with front desk staff, no pizza after we picked up our new order on our way back to our room. We called slice again at 10:06 PM and still we were informed they couldn't reach anyone at this store. The App was still saying delivery pending. Slice promised to reach out to Papa Brick on Saturday. We called slice on saturday for an update and we were told perhaps the business was closed as they have been unable to reach them and that they will reattempt on Sunday. Sunday we called slice and was told they still had not been able to reach this business. Now I check the app and it now says delivery complete. Monday I get an email from slice saying unfortunately no refunds that our order was delivered . Really? Shame on you. I have asked for the time of delivery , who and where it was delivered and no answers. You had my phone number my room no. No excuse . You never called or delivered . We paid almost $120 for an order we never got. We will be calling Amex next. read more

My Stromboli with pepperoni was very good. The container of red sauce that came with it was very good also. The pizza had a thin, crispy crust. It is the best pizza around this area !!!!! I ordered for the first time in January. I ordered 1 white pizza with spinach, so about $17 or something close to that. I also ordered 8 wings, which is $13.99. I also asked if they delivered and they said they did, no price discussed as well as no price on delivery fee on their menu. I also asked if I could pay with a credit card and they took the info over the phone. No problem there, except they failed to mention another extra fee. I was preparing myself to give a cash tip. The order took a while to leave the pizza place, which is understandable on a busy night. The owner came to deliver, and as he walked away I asked let me get your tip, and he said don't worry I am the owner. Next thing you know I was charged $52.94. $52.94 for one pizza and 8 little wings. I was never given a receipt and also never informed about all the additional fees. This place is less than a 5 minute drive from my house, if I was going to be charged $22 in fees of who knows what. This is absurd, and not sure who in their right mind would pay just as much for delivery and for using a credit card. I could've easily paid in cash but they failed to mention all of this to me. A new customer and a new person to the area. I even told him that I was new and had never ordered from them. Too bad that they do this to their customers. Would've loved to continue giving your location business. I called a couple weeks after and spoke with a woman and she explained all the crazy fees, and I told her the owner didn't address any of that with me. She said she would talk to him about it. Took my name and my phone number down. Never even a call back apologizing or clarifying anything. Would suggest to print fees on your menus and on your website. We stopped in here during our stay at great wolf lodge and were so impressed we went again on our way back home. The pizza is thin and tasty. The French fries are crispy and flavorful. We had the Buffalo chicken soup (they make all of their soups from scratch) and it was SO good. Great spot for a delicious brick oven pizza. I loved th crust of the pizza the bottom was crispy and the edges had a perfect chew. The sauce was delicious, just the right balance of tangy tomatoes and spices without being too acidic. The meatballs on this pizza were homemade and delicious. They complimented the sausage, pepperoni, ham, and bacon that generously topped the pizza. The cheese was the perfect melt (kind of stringy as you pulled your slice away, but not so much that it pulled the toppings off the pizza. They use a fine ground flour instead of the usual cornmeal to keep the dough from sticking, but I think it complimented the crust much more than cornmeal would have. The owners were wonderful and welcoming to us. It was very nice to chat as he made our pizza and asked about what brought us to the area. The shop itself has a small indoor and outdoor seating area and appeared very clean and well kept. Note to all others who want to try this--it's the end business in a strip and we drove past it at first, so keep your eyes peeled. I'm super happy we turned around and went back though, this is definitely going to be a place we visit when we are back in the area again. read more

Don't miss this gem! Big Papa (aka Chris) is a pizza artist. Ask him what his newest creation is. I had the (secret menu item) broccoli rabe with ricotta cheese no red sauce that was the chef's kiss. The crust is crispy on the outside soft on the inside. We ordered a cheese for our daughter. It was huge. My son is dairy free so they were able to accommodate him with a yummy chicken Cesar salad.
