After my second visit with Dr Sauer I walked out of that office feeling 99% better. Finally some relief. Great night sleep. Walking great today. Upon getting the orders I was very apprehensive because of previously having to undergo Spinal taps. They all including Dr, Johnson very patiently assured me the procedure would be nothing like the spinal tap. Up until the day of my procedure they continued to assure me it would be ok. On the day of my procedure I was still so worried. Dr. Johnson took the time to sit down and explain the procedure to me before hand. The nurse had also reassured me during the intake process it would be just fine. The procedure went just as they said. I hardly knew when it was done and the doctor was awesome in helping me to relax and explaining every step as it was performed. The only negative was the scheduling nurse was out of the office and I have yet to receive my next appointment. The office and restroom facilities were clean. The facility itself is clean, well-kept, and professional. That might sound like a small thing, but after being sent to other places in the past, it makes a big difference walking into somewhere that actually feels like a proper medical office instead of something run down or questionable. I saw Dr. Sunil Aurora, and he was excellent. Very professional, thorough, and--most importantly--he took the time to clearly explain how the procedure works and what to expect going forward. No rushing, no talking over your head--just straight, understandable information. Right now, we're waiting on confirmation from the VA to approve coverage for four treatments, so that's the next step. But based on this first visit, I feel comfortable and confident moving forward with them. If the treatment side matches the first impression, this is going to be a solid place for care.

I have been receiving care from OrthoSC over the years. I have always had the best care. Dr…read more Merritt just did arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery. I highly recommend him. He is caring, listens, and explains things thoroughly. I am blessed to have Ortho SC, physical therapy, and Dr. Merritt for my orthopedic care. In addition, my physical therapist, Marian, has helped me reach goals I would never have thought I would in a short time frame after surgery. I highly recommend!!

I spent another 2 weeks in bad pain without help when I could have just made an appointment with a different team altogether. I will never go back to that group and neither will any of my family.
