With my hectic six day work week, which often includes night shifts, it is such a relief to always know I can rely on this establishment to pick up, wash, dry, fold, hang, and deliver back my laundry, which is always warm and smelling fresh upon receipt. I've gotten to know some of the staff and ownership pretty well, and it's always nice to stop and chat with them after a busy work week. They are EXTREMELY professional, down-to-earth, friendly, and very hard-working, even in the midst of a pandemic that has decimated Staten Island. I put clothes in separate bags with brightly colored labels indictating the washing instructios for each bag. I pay a lot of money for my clothes and linens, and I do not want them abused or damaged. Twice now, I have received my laundry back with clear evidence that instructions were neither read nor followed. I sent expensive, highly concentrated laundry detergent, and the entire bottle was used on three loads. Wasting my money, TWICE. The disregard for my personal property is outrageous. I'm sure they have no intention of refunding me hundreds of dollars for the early destruction and replacement of my fine garments that I specifically said were meant to be hung up to dry. These included wool, cashmere, and silk. The advertising is a lie. You can send instructions, but you will be LUCKY if anyone reads or follows them. I will never use this company again. I am demanding a full refund -- not that it could ever cover the damage they have done. They also keep sending me wire hangers, that I have repeatedly told them I did not want. They treat their customers with no respect. The owner can be extremely nasty. I've seen his nasty side a few times with different customers. I had my own incident with him as well. His machine dirtied my clean sheets that I had just washed when it got stuck in the dryer holes. To be fair, I will mention that he did allow me to wash it again free of charge, but having already dried it as well, I also inquired about the dryer charge. He answered me in a very nasty way, asking if he had to pay for drying too...? He then threw three quarters my way and continued to complain under his breath.
