If I could give 0 starts I would. This is how I left the salon. I have never experienced such bad customer service becs of the fact that I said my fingers were hurting and I wanted her to stop. The person who was doing my nails was so rough and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. She cut my skin so many times and my cuticles started to bleed. SHE NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED. After I told her to stop Becs my fingers were hurting so bad from all the cuts she gave me, I told her I just wanted her to take it off. She then called over the owner I assum and she asked me if I ever got my nails done before and I said yes but I haven't gotten it done for around 8 months since I've moved to Connecticut and I've NEVER had my hands hurt like this to the point where I'm SHAKING. She goes on to say I'm just very tender handed and that they've been doing this for over 10 years and they also stated that they've cut their clients before some people can handle it and some people can't. (NOTE IF YOU WORK FOR OVER 10 YEARS DOING NAILS AND YOU STILL CUT YOUR CLIENTS, YOU SHOULDNT BE DOING NAILS PERIOD!) I asked if I can come back next time with someone I previously wanted to go to becs I liked her work but then THAT GIRL states she works just the same and she might cut me too so at that point I wanted to just get out. They kept saying things under their breath about me in Spanish as well and I told the girl just leave it I'll fix it myself and walked out. As I walked out they made a smart ass remark and said have a good weekend knowing damn well I was crying becs of how mean they were. Bunch of bullies who treated me like I've never done my nails before. I've worked at a nail salon for a year and THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO A CLIENT BEFORE. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!! read more

Coming into nail solutions is like going to visit friends. I feel so welcomed and have great conversations and some laughs, all while getting my nails done to PERFECTION! The salon is super clean, I'm always offered a drink, and I'm never rushed. Mariel does my nails and makes sure each nail is perfectly shaped and not too thick with polish. They take walk-Ins but they're known to be such an amazing place so definitely make an appointment so you can be taken! read more

I don't often write reviews but this place deserves it! I've been looking for a local nail salon and I'm so glad Google directed me here. I was caught off guard when I walked in -- it was small, warm, and cozy, and everyone spoke Spanish. I felt like I had walked into an intimate family get-together -- one where strangers are welcome too. Bill greeted me at the door and within a few minutes Maria took me back to wax my eyebrows. She did a great job, and even offered me coffee/tea/sodas. Everyone was chatting and hugging and just generally happy-looking, like a cozy church community. (Turns out they actually are very involved in a local multi-cultural church.) Didn't know it at the time, but there is plenty of parking in the back, too. I only went today for my eyebrows, but I will definitely be back for nails soon! read more

Terrible the girl kept telling me not to look at my nails and they got air bubbles under it also they were rube when we tried telling them that their gel was just acrylic so don't recommend coming here if u want good nails or just gel nails because they don't do gel nails only acrylic. Also when I had an allergic reaction to the acrylic they wanted me to come in to make sure I wasn't lying and they only offered to take them off once they saw that I was having an allergic reaction. Terrible! This place is dishonest! If I could give this place no stars I would! I was quoted one price over the phone for a full set of acrylics and when I went in, the woman was rude and did a terrible job, then charged me twice what I was quoted over the phone. To make matters worse, when I called less than a week later (because she did such a bad job) to complain, they told me to come in and they would fix them. I already needed a fill- my nails don't grow THAT fast- and my own nails could be seen on the sides, and the colored acrylic on top of the base was actually chipping off. When I got there the woman told me all these things were due to new growth and that I would have to pay for a fill. Needless to say I left and will never go back. I didn't appreciate being ripped off or tricked into paying more. I used to be a nail tech and there's plenty of hard working honest girls doing nails out there that will treat you right- but NOT AT THIS PLACE! read more
