I first visited Coral Pink ATV Tours with a professional group, and I loved it so much that I knew I had to come back and bring my mom and daughter to experience it too. We recently had the opportunity to visit for a third time after a last-minute change to our Fourth of July road trip plans, and we jumped at the chance! First, their prices truly cannot be beat. The amount of time, adventure, breathtaking scenery, sandboarding, and sand sledding you get for the price is incredible. Especially for families, being able to have an experience this memorable without spending a fortune is a huge plus. The views are absolutely unparalleled. There is nothing like coming over the trail and seeing those massive pink sand dunes for the first time. It truly takes your breath away, and pictures will never do it justice. The sandboarding and sand sledding were SO much fun, and my daughter absolutely loved it! Getting to actually play on the dunes and fly down them was definitely one of the highlights of the trip for her. Coral Pink ATV Tours is family-owned and operated, and you can genuinely tell how much heart they pour into their business and the experience they give their guests. There is a reason I have continued to come back and bring more of the people I love with me each time. They are operating from a new location compared to our previous two trips, so just a couple of things to be aware of. The closest bathroom is about 15 to 20 minutes away, although there are plenty of trees and privacy if nature calls. Some parts of the ride also get pretty bumpy, but honestly, that's part of the adventure and makes it even more fun! Hailey and Brooke were amazing guides and gave our group such a fun, thorough, and absolutely beautiful sunset tour. We had an incredible experience from beginning to end. After three trips with Coral Pink ATV Tours, I truly cannot recommend them enough. I have now experienced it with colleagues, friends, and family, and somehow the beauty still takes my breath away every single time. Haylie was truly the best guide. Super thorough, a great instructor/guide and she knows where the best trails are and was just a blast to cruise with. My fiancée and I booked a 2 hour sunset tour because exhilarating experiences are always the most memorable ones IMHO. Gordon was great as a tour guide and a steward of southern Utah. He had plenty of knowledge to offer about the surrounding landscape and Utah in general, but not so talkative that the scenery was compromised. Some guides fall into that trap, but not Gordon. My only regret is that we didn't do a 3 hour tour. It went by so fast and those machines are super addictive once you get the hang of it. Nonetheless, what a great experience. The way that sunset hits the dunes and the surrounding canyon is truly spectacular, unlike anything I've ever seen (we live in Arizona so we have some similar landscapes but not quite like this). read more

Very cool family owned and run business. We were fortunate enough to be able to book a three hour morning tour for my husband, myself and our almost 6year old. Coby and Hannah were terrific guides. We had a few stops including a slot canyon hike, dinosaur footprints and a place called "rattlesnake rock". It was a lot of fun. Definitely saw much more with the tour than if we were doing it solo. 3 hours sounds long but it went by in a flash. Our daughter had an amazing time, if you have kids (or even if you don't) I highly recommend it and would do it again in a second if we got the opportunity. We had the best fun on a guided tour of Pink Coral Sand Dunes with Gordon. We were so lucky to approach them for info and joined on the last tour of the day. The topography out there is incredibly beautiful! The skies were perfect with puffy clouds and the colors were so vivid, changing from green plant life into pure, sandy coral. Gordon was so nice and patient. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we want to buy our own ATV now. So glad to experience the dunes from a vehicle instead of the long, hot trek to the dune peak with a sand sled, haha! read more

We did the evening sunset ride on 8-7-20 with 2 UTV's and had a blast. Gordon and Mindie guided us along the way and it was well worth it. For reference we had 2 adults, and a set of 18 year olds and a 11 year old. We even got to go sand boarding and sledding down the dunes and stop for a little slot canyon hike . The highlight of our trip! Booked a sunset tour over Labor Day weekend and had such a blast! It was a group of 4, two couples and wow, was it worth it! Would highly recommend at least 2 hours, it goes by so quick! The views are spectacular and it's so much fun! Renting their boards to slide down the sand dunes are a MUST. It's so much fun! I scheduled for a sunset tour through their website reservations request a month before our visit, Tiffany responded within the same day to ask for more information. Unaware of the options available, Tiffany was helpful explaining the difference between a UTV and an ATV. I decided on a two hour ATV tour with one driver and one passenger. The pricing on our invoice was well reflected on their website. Their website was very informative with tips on what to wear, bring, and how to find them. We arrived 15 minutes at the day use lot (left hand side once you enter the park) before our visit to get our helmets fitted. Coby and Hannah were our guides. There was another couple on our tour so Coby led, we followed, the second couple followed behind us, and Hannah was in the back. As beginners to ATV riding, this setup was extremely helpful to have one guide in the front and one in the back. On one of our hills, our ATV got stuck and Hannah was quick to run up to us and help us out. The tour was exactly like how it was described on the website, we drove through the dunes before we stopped at a mini slot canyon and due to the recent storms, the wind uncovered a lot more of the canyon which was pretty neat. The hike was not extremely rigorous, I was unprepared and did not wear hiking shoes but was still able to do it in Vans sneakers. After our first stop, we resumed to drive through the park to stop at Rattlesnake Hill. Coby led the trek up the hill to make sure the path was clear of rattlesnakes, then we hiked up. Fortunately for me the sunset tour during the beginning of spring was still a little too cold for many of the rattlesnakes to be out - we still got to see one rattlesnake and a blow snake before we climbed down to continue the tour. We drove through the park to get to one of the highest dunes to watch the sun set. The whole experience was amazing and the views we were able to see were breathtaking. I would not have chosen to experience Coral Pink Sand Dunes any other way. In retrospect if I could have changed anything I would have opted for the three hour tour so we could have seen dinosaur tracks! Tour guides were great and constantly checked to see if we were okay/comfortable with the drive. Tip: definitely wear thick/loose fitting pants. I wore skinny jeans and at times the machine would get a little too hot for comfort. read more

Great Experience! During a recent girls trip to Utah, we chose to do an hour tour with Coral Pink ATV Tours. They are about 30 minutes outside of Kanab, which is very convenient for anyone staying there. The owner and his daughter rode with us, and we had a great time. We always felt safe, and got some great pictures. Also, if I can suggest anything, be sure to consider adding on the sand sledding option. So fun! read more

This atv tour turned out to be pretty limiting as far as driving the atv goes, but before I get in to that, the tour guides SUCK! The tours are run by a husband and wife, the husband is extremely passive aggressive and rude. The guides request showing up early (20min before the tour) to be on time because if you're not, you will be left shortly after but the guides were late themselves. The husband was running late after the wife showed up so I asked to go back to my car to get my phone. The husband shows up as I'm gone and makes snarky comments when I make it back even after I had gotten permission from the wife to leave. The husband continued to be passive aggressive and rude throughout the tour and even made inappropriate comments about a girls shorts length upon her arrival. Instead of saying hi or introducing himself he said "could your shorts be any shorter". Driving the atv through the dunes was not fulfilling at all as we rarely went over 10mph. We were given quick and easy instructions on how to operate the atvs as the transmission is automatic and a few "do's and do not's" for driving through the dunes but apparently making wide turns is a not ok, and it was not mentioned before the tour. The husband stopped the entire tour because my turns were too wide. When he approached my atv he was very condescending, instead of explaining or informing me on why not to make a wide turn or the importance of turning tight, he said "you're making too wide of turns, don't do it, you don't see the people in front of you doing that", and then walks away. In the middle of the tour we did a quick hike which was nice and gives you an opportunity to switch drivers. The wife was very informative about the landscape and rock formations in the area. Before the tour ended we stopped at the sand dunes and enjoyed the sunset along with some sand boarding and sledding; this was the best part of the tour. Drinks were offered during this time which was nice too. Overall this tour can be a nice activity to do as a tourist but in my experience it proves how crucial a good tour guide is and how much it can impact your experience, I felt very uncomfortable at times interacting with my guides and fully enjoying my time. I highly recommend finding another company to book with if possible or even just renting your own atv and going to the dunes yourself. If not please be sure you want to risk having the experience I had because there is a 60 day cancellation fee. read more

This tour was basically a grandma tour. Speeds were way too slow and we didn't spend much time in the dunes. I didn't even push the accelerator more than 1/4 of the way down. If you like driving very slow with no thrill than this is the tour for you. The trail was in the forest with not much scenery.
