Brent was our tour guide and he was great! He was informative and gauged how our kids were doing in the UTV while driving to make sure everyone had a good time. If in Zion, we would definitely do this again. So worth it! Sand boarding is an option on the tour but we were never pressured to do the activity, just asked if we would like to. Google Maps turned us around to take a longer route as we were close to the park but not quite in it so we think it was trying to avoid the park entrance fee. As long as you are going to the meeting point they give you, you can still drive through the park.

The guides, Glade and Hannah, were terrific, like personal chefs there to assure you had a great time and were safe. They aimed at the best part of every rapid- a real E-ticket ride. Some advice: 1. bring more alcohol-it was hot in August, probably 100, we are not big drinkers but 3-4 cold beers a day would sure have been nice, we ran out on day 6 2. wear light colored clothes if the weather is going to be warm 3. bring a walking stick, very helpful on the hikes scrambling over boulders and rocks 4. bring more alcohol 5. a waterproof day pack to have some gear readily accessible on the raft would have been nice 6. Have a set of river shoes, and a set of hiking shoes for shore excursions. My river shoes were great on wet rocks in the river, but tenuous at best when hiking 7. bring more alcohol 8. I balked at the sarong idea and regretted it, sarong would have been great to keep cool on the raft and to provide additional sun protection 9. Gel or spray on deodorant would have been nice, I brought body wash but it did not really cut it. 10. Consider going in May-mid July time frame when river is running clear. Once monsoon season starts in Arizona the river runs silty. Still a great trip. GCE is one of the few companies that provides cots and sleeping pads and sleeping bags as part of the experience, other companies might charge extra.

Their team members really helped us have a good time, and their customer service was great. They are very nice, helpful and they explained everything we needed to know to ride the bike. The bikes were all working properly when we got them! We spent some time exploring Zion with the E-Bikes. Using E-Bikes helped us explore at Zion the area at a lot faster pace than if we had been using traditional bicycles. One big advantage is being able to see the beautiful Zion views without having to worry about where you will be able to park your car too! We would rent from Greater Zion E-Bikes again, and would definitely recommend them to everyone who comes to Zion and is interested in using E-Bike rentals!

Our tour guide, Al, showed us such an amazing experience! He was friendly, patient, funny, knowledgeable of the area, and of course, has tons of stories to share! Super laid back and very professional! Depending on the amount of people you with, the price of canyoneering will decrease. Before you go on the trip, make sure you use the bathroom. The drive up to Lambs Knoll was about 30mins and the hike up was about another 30 mins. Instructions and safety took about 10 mins and next thing you know, you're strapped up and ready to go! With a group of 4, Al made each of us feel comfortable on each course. He didn't rush us off the mountain and even offered to continue on to do more rappelling. If we didn't leave our mom on a souvenir shopping spree for 4 hours, I would've agreed for more! He even made me feel all skinny believing that I can squeeze myself between the slot canyons!! Haha! That was an adventure in and of itself. The Slot Canyons were one of my top 10 things to do while living in Utah and I'm glad I got to see how beautiful it is in person. The pictures below doesn't do any justice to actually being there and touching the walls. The bikes were also wonderful. We had the bikes all day and the battery life barely went down. We rode all around the park. The baskets were a great addition on the bikes.
