Not only was the food great, but the service was also amazing! All of the employees were very welcoming and super kind! Also, they have the cutest employee named Catalina! The ambiance here is very calming, especially with all the birds near the area, definitely worth visiting!

I have to rave about this hidden gem, Mountain View Inn & Restuarant in Piru. Such a cute, rustic and homey atmosphere, wonderful service and fresh ingredients. Our server, Ana, and the operations manager, Rick, have provided wonderful service and truly made us feel valued and taken care of. The sous chef, Fabian, even came out to check on us and see how our food was. Seriously, 10/10 service. It cannot be overstated. Now, to the food. We got the shrimp and grits, biscuit and jam, and short rib hash. The biscuit and jam are both homemade. The biscuit is HUGE, buttery, and the perfect balance of fluffy and flaky. The jam is a mixed berry: strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. Silky texture and very delicious! The shrimp and grits are some of the best I've ever had. I'm from the south and am usually quite picky on my shrimp and grits. Such a wonderful, rich flavor. I will say the grits are a very creamy texture, as they are made with heavy cream and cheese. So, not your typical grits, BUT they are so freaking delicious. The short rib hash is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. It's made with sweet potatoes. So yummy! We added an over easy egg to ours, which elevated it even more. The mimosas are made with freshly squeezed local oranges and only $10. Speaking of fresh ingredients, we saw the cooks and servers go back and forth several times to grab fresh produce from a nearby location. I also saw a little herb garden, and Ana told me they pick fresh oranges from a local grove nearby. The portions are huge, the price is a steal and you are seriously missing out if you have not been! P.S. Huge shout out to the local kitty, Catalina (Cat), who was just the sweetest and (almost) made me a cat person

The lees special and the shaken espresso. I saw they had a strawberry and berry flavored redbull drink but that wasn't my style. Some others listed were employee specials which I would imagine are decent as well. The service was friendly, the woman at the front might have thought I was decent looking so maybe that is why she was friendly. But from my personal experience she was pretty good. Pricing was the same as the one at McKenna's. The drink however was slightly less good than McKenna's cold foam. Don't get me wrong both are good. This one had a sweeter taste, maybe more sugar was added. But it tasted delicious. The interior was peaceful, similar to a little 16 year old females decorative home. It had a lot of girl decorations I kid you not. But peaceful and air conditioned. I liked it. They had donuts inside as well but of course I have to say no to them or I'll get diabetes. But they looked tasty. Overall I recommend to try it out if you ever stop by and want a refreshing drink. The ones I mentioned I found to be good purchases tasted great and I enjoyed the flavors.

My friend makes her own bread and she wanted to try some different types of flours. I ordered buckwheat and Sonora flour. I also bought 2 loaves of bread- a Honey Wheat Pan Bread and a Rosemary loaf. Both had a perfect crumb and were delicious! In their refrigerated cases were raviolis, pot pies and other premade items. I bought the lemon ravioli and it was light and so flavorful! I bought some of their sourdough crackers and I can't go back to boxed crackers again. Their bakery had lots of yummy looking croissants and specialty coffee drinks. I will definitely be back to try some of their produce and other items I wasn't able to try this last visit. I have a feeling I will be visiting a couple times a month!

All fresh. However. If you go here, MAKE SURE to check your bag before you leave. Three times, they have charged us for loaves of bread that didn't make it into the bag. Today, they forgot a sandwich and a loaf of bread and annoyingly, when I told them about the missing items, they sliced the bread before putting it in the bag. I didn't realize until way later in the day. I did not ask for that and I don't like the bread sliced there -- it goes bad way quicker. So, go there, love it, spend a lot (you will) and it's totally worth it. But I sure wish they had a better mechanism for filling orders correctly.

Pulling up, I quickly noticed a nice, covered seating area, conveniently located right outside the entrance. Upon entry, I observed a fair number of patrons quietly relaxing and going about their business. After sharing a few quick glances from onlookers, I proceeded to the ordering area. The sweet young lady from behind the counter directed me to the menu. There was a nice selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as, a few bites to satisfy any minor hunger pangs. After hinting to my knowledgable hostess for any culinary crowd favourites, she instinctively pointed out the breakfast burrito. So, I selected the burrito, a tall, cool raspberry tea, and a double-shot of espresso. My coffee was ready first, quickly succeeded by my burrito and tea a few minutes later. The espresso was strong, yet possessed a smooth texture, while my tea was cool and refreshing, having a subtle berry hint of flavour that touched the back of the palate. I was hoping it could have been a tad stronger but, for having no caffeine, it was fine. My breakfast burrito was hearty, juicy, and well seasoned, as it was stuffed with scrambled egg, chopped spinach, cheese, and cubed potatoes snuggled in a nice green wrap. The accompanying side of salsa provided a sweet and tangy note to brighten this, already well-balanced, nosh. The seating area was clean, while the tables were all well kept. If you are looking to find a quiet place to read, work, of just chill with a great cup of joe, look no further. This place is great as it's nestled in a great location with plenty of parking. Enjoy! Cheers !

Los Coffeeholics never fails me…read more The first time I visited was back in April for a Yelp event at the SCV Hub. The second I tried it, I find any excuse to come back. Well, Yelp had another event at the SCV Hub and you bet your bottom dollar I was going to order from Los Coffeeholics. Today we ordered a 24oz Mango Sticky Rice Matcha ($7.75) and a 16 oz Cookie Butter Latte ($6.75). Both drinks took about 20 minutes to make, which I do feel like is a long time but very much so worth the wait. There was also only two employees there that I saw, so they may have been short staffed because they were constantly working on orders. My Cookie Butter Latte was creamy with biscoff crumbles on top. There was also the perfect amount of ice to keep it cool but not where a majority of the cup was ice. I also thought I tasted a hint of cinnamon in there. I could easily drink the whole thing in 3 gulps. My partner got the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. He's gotten this before, and has not stopped talking about it since. He was even telling me yesterday how he was super excited to go to Los Coffeeholics tomorrow to get his Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. Needless to say, half of his was gone before we even got into the car. Overall - the quality and price of Los Coffeeholics is totally worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Lots of options to choose from, both matchas and lattes. I'm already thinking about what my next order will be... **Note that this is more of a grab and go kinda spot, very minimal seating inside of the hub but lots of seating on the patio.
