Worn out furniture and the bed was terrible. New TV, new toilet and the water was hot. New lock system which is a blessing, good job, these are probably the top asked for amenities. The best part? Looking across the parking lot spotting a Starbucks - knowing I could walk there. Like an oasis in the desert. Keep going Budget in, you're doing great!

I went ahead booked and let him know it showed up and we thought everything was all good he told us we would be able to get the room since we aren't 21 and up and we proceeded to ask why he didn't stop us from getting the new room we had to pay another 70$ for, even tho he seen our age on the id and proceeded to say we we needed to be 21 after he seen the the new room was already played for we let him know he has given us a room before (we come and visit a good amount of time due to family living here) he raised his voice at us and told us we couldn't get the room and we should've known we proceeded to say we didn't know since we booked here before and he didn't give us no complaints and he was fine we us getting a room we just need to match the name to the Id we spent a total of 140$ for two rooms we weren't aloud to use then my husband went in there to ask for a refund and he said we should've known and we weren't gonna get a refund and said screaming quote on quote "you should've known your not getting any of this rooms you fucking Mexicans get out before I call ice on you both to get you deported back to your country" I was in disbelief as I'm white and my husband is a Mexican us citizen I really hope no one has to deal with the racist remarks this place gives their customers we were scammed out of 140$ and racially profiled I would not recommend this place needs to be shut down !

We stayed in the deluxe queen studio. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. . It has a full kitchen and a full wall of windows overlooking the river! There was a great little deck with a table and chairs for eating breakfast and enjoying the view. The property had a great beach area with several nice spaces with canopies and chairs for guest to relax in. And plenty of space for all of the guests to enjoy . The River was clear and deep enough to swim in.. it was not very cold but was refreshing in the summer heat after a day spent up at the national parks. The room was wonderful . The kitchen was fully stocked with pots pans utensils , dishes, etc. the beds were comfortable there were plenty of blankets and towels etc. The host was very welcoming and responsive when we reached out with questions and there were instructions, request, and a lot of good suggestions for enjoying our stay provided in a paper that was left in the room.. I would definitely recommend the spot, I plan to come back to visit the Area again and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else

Today's review is on the SLOW RUDE sandwich maker working in The COFFEE SHOP aka STARBUCKS located in the hotel lobby. It took THE GAL 23 minutes to put together four sandwiches. Orders were not prepared in the order received. My order included a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE and TOUCH OF POOR RESPECT towards myself and others. I ordered at 10:10 am and my order was ready at 10:33 am. For some reason two of the gals enjoyed my presence and chatted under their breath. about me and my order. I'm so important. lol The one young man was very professional and seemed to appreciate helping me with my muffins. I do appreciate the food comps and the convenience of the location. Prices are fair and quality is as well. The future is in our hands to teach youngsters to work with respect for others Smile. Greet customers. Say thank you. Best Western Town & Country Lodge was the nearest location to the event, safe neighborhood, and that was rated more than a 2-Star. For a 3-Star hotel, they meet the standard amenities. They even have an outdoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was out of service at the time of my visit. PROS -Self parking on the premises with cameras. -Near my event with restaurants nearby. -Reasonable price. -Free breakfast. CONS -Noise at night from the busy road. -Walls are paper thin. -I smelled Coffee at 6 AM! Why? -No blackout curtains. -Loud AC unit made random clicking sound. Overall, my stay was fine for one night. If I was to stay more than one night, I would ask for the a room in the back of the premises because I was woken up a couple of times by sirens and loud noise. I'm also a light sleeper. My room was on the second floor near the front desk. Although the room is dated, I can tell it was recently painted and upgraded with new furnishings. Well maintained and clean. The room is spacious and had all the basic amenities, plus a microwave! Complimentary breakfast 6-9 AM daily with a good variety. Coffee, tea, juice, waffle maker, toaster with bread, bagel and muffin, cereals and hot items like scrambled eggs, sausages and biscuits and gravy. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but they seem friendly.

My one critique is I was traveling with a baby so I wasn't looking at the time. I made sure she had enough food during breakfast but at 9AM sharp the doors to the cafeteria were locked and shut so I lost track of time and therefore lost the ability to get myself a plate. A 5 minute warning would of been great but otherwise a great place to stay.

Bathroom floor had definitely not been cleaned as I could see debris on it and stains. Dog urine stains in the corner of the main room and broken blinds. Kids were saying it smelled like wet dog. Breakfast is very basic- lower quality than other hotels I've stayed at. But they had waffles, fake eggs, sausage, white bread, mini muffins, yogurt, juice, coffee. Front desk guy was nice!

We slept in the next day so we weren't able to get breakfast there, but my husband did manage to get some hot water for himself and coffee for me, so yay! One note--the bathroom could use a bit more cleaning. When my kiddos were bathing, the bathroom got steamy and I found brown liquid on the toilet seat. Thankfully, it wasn't what we thought, but it turned out the bathroom vent was pretty gross and the steam caused gunk from the vent to drip down.

We didn't have a reservation, but the front desk attendant, Jesse, was very courteous and welcoming and made the check-in easy. Our room was a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom smelled freshly cleaned. There was a strange urine smell near the sink/entry area outside the bathroom, though the bathroom itself smelled spotless. I mentioned it to Edde (I may be spelling her name wrong), and she was incredibly sweet and helpful. She explained that sometimes when a room sits vacant the pipes can cause that smell. She brought a citrus oil cleaner and suggested spraying it in the sink. After running the water and spraying a little, the smell was gone when we returned. I noticed it faintly again in the morning, so it may just be something with the pipes. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Linens were clean and we had lots of fluffy pillows. The bed and pillows were a little too soft for my preference, but I still slept fine. The AC works great too. The complimentary breakfast was actually really good for a hotel in this price range. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, home-style potatoes (with salsa), plus fruit cups, soy milk, pastries, cereal, and a waffle maker. There's also complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit available in the lobby. Honestly, for a little over $100 you get a clean place to sleep plus breakfast and snacks, which makes it feel like a really good value. They also have an indoor pool, ice and vending machines, and the location is convenient--there's a Denny's and what looks like a Jack in the Box next door, plus a taco truck across the street. Even though it's right near the overpass, it's surprisingly quiet. Overall, the staff were kind and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it if you're passing through and need a comfortable place to crash.
