Yikes. This is one of two hotels in Corcoran. I have to say it looks like they are trying. No bedside lights, only remnants of where they once were. No vanity light, smudged walls. Worn out furniture and the bed was terrible. New TV, new toilet and the water was hot. New lock system which is a blessing, good job, these are probably the top asked for amenities. The best part? Looking across the parking lot spotting a Starbucks - knowing I could walk there. Like an oasis in the desert. Keep going Budget in, you're doing great! read more

Me and my husband went yesterday after booking a room for a night stay visiting and the male receptionist at the front took our id and let us know we wouldn't be able to get the room since the name on the booking was a different name since it accidentally auto corrected to another name I took his side okay understandable it was my mistake he seen our ages we are under the age of 21 but adults in other words he see the age on the id gave us the id back we let him know we'll just book another room he agreed with us and waited for us to book the room with the right name keep in mind 70$! I went ahead booked and let him know it showed up and we thought everything was all good he told us we would be able to get the room since we aren't 21 and up and we proceeded to ask why he didn't stop us from getting the new room we had to pay another 70$ for, even tho he seen our age on the id and proceeded to say we we needed to be 21 after he seen the the new room was already played for we let him know he has given us a room before (we come and visit a good amount of time due to family living here) he raised his voice at us and told us we couldn't get the room and we should've known we proceeded to say we didn't know since we booked here before and he didn't give us no complaints and he was fine we us getting a room we just need to match the name to the Id we spent a total of 140$ for two rooms we weren't aloud to use then my husband went in there to ask for a refund and he said we should've known and we weren't gonna get a refund and said screaming quote on quote "you should've known your not getting any of this rooms you fucking Mexicans get out before I call ice on you both to get you deported back to your country" I was in disbelief as I'm white and my husband is a Mexican us citizen I really hope no one has to deal with the racist remarks this place gives their customers we were scammed out of 140$ and racially profiled I would not recommend this place needs to be shut down ! read more

Front desk receptionist was rude. There were flies in the room flying around n 2 dead ones. The sofa dispenser was broken. The toilet seat was disgusting dirty. Bathtub had dirt in it. When I went to complain n ask the front desk to call the cleaning lady. The owner came out n was offended n rude. I mean, what unreasonable request was it to get room clean n soap to wash my hands? The owner then told me to leave cause I complained abt the room. What a jerk. The dirtiest motel I've ever been to. Disgusting. This place is a rat's ass, cockroach infested motel! DO NOT STAY HERE! If you do, o guarantee you will get bit by a rat or wake up with lice! The beds were hard as a rock and gave me back pain. When I told the Owner, he said he didn't care to see my video of cockroaches! HORRIBLE! The Owner is a greedy bastard that doesn't care about customer service or the quality of care. What he does care about is his expensive ass Tesla that he has no problem driving around in while his guest get bed bugs! AVOID AT ALL COST! I can't complain and reading other reviews I hope I never have their issues. I stayed New Year's weekend I had no issues checking in but I did pay over the rate due to online booking ($155 for 2nights). It was a first timers mistake, the woman at the desk informed me to call for reservations instead and she'll give a much better rate, which made me feel better. The room was big enough, plenty of desk space, micro wave and mini frige, hair dryer, coffee maker, alarm clock, large dispensers of soap, shampoo, and lotion. The bed was comfy and even had those thick fluffy comforters. I stayed in 204, it was quiet in the corner and out the way - I hope I can book it every time I visit. Nice water pressure in toilet and shower, water runs hot as well. Owners were pleasant for the two times I encountered them. Ac/heat works. Pros: location/walking distance to everything-atm & good. Continental breakfast at 6:30a in lobby. Cons: I can't think of any yet. read more

Should have stayed here entire weekend because the price was good , well I paid 74 because I booked through Priceline . I came in and guy told me if I would have walked in it would have been 65. But overall the stay was good, the room was clean, easy and fast check in. Me and my daughter slept good. We were just visiting, but definitely good for the price! read more

I will be visiting Corcoran SAT-F several times a year, so I wanted a room that was affordable; but safe and clean. Tip: You get the best price if your call them directly versus an online booking company rate. The rate has been 54.00 per night for a double-bed, single occupancy if you let them know you are visiting a Corcoran prison. I paid 10.00 more going through a booking website. Pros: Friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds, fresh linens, multiple pillows, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, table/seating, air conditioned, flat-screen TV's, free Wi-Fi & plenty of free parking. Quiet/Safe. Fast-food, sit-down restaurant and liquor store in less than a 5 min walk. 10 minute drive to Corcoran Prisons. Cons: Three story - No Elevator, breakfast is very minimal. McDonald's is only a mile up the road if you are still hungry. Overall a decent place to stay at an excellent price! I know I will be back! read more

Location is great! Staff are friendly. Rooms could be cleaned a bit better. I gave it a one star only because I got bit by bed bugs when I stayed on the 3rd floor. I stayed 3 times but I always had a icky feeling until bedbugs issues came up...will not be coming here again. read more

This is a very clean Motel when you walk in the room you can smell the cleanest it doesn't smell like smoke desk clerks welcome you with a big smile they always answer questions and always be kind enough to help you out breakfast is wonderful lot of varieties I will be coming back here every other weekend as long as my husband is out here in Corcoran prison I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends that needs to come out. read more

I wouldn't stay at this place if you paid me!!! Staff is rude, and rooms are dirty!! My family stayed for one night and first thing we see when we get in is a dirty bathroom town with someone else's hair on it! Right then and there I knew I should have chosen the Corcoran inn. After finding the hair I processed to find a fridge that was not cleaned out from the people who had stayed in the room previous to us... so if they aren't cleaning towels and cleaning out the fridge, what else aren't they doing!! Never never never will I stay here. To TOP it off we come back from a family event and what do we find. COCKROACHES!!!! Yep I'd say this was the worst place I've ever stayed in. I reserved a room at Budget Inn in Corcoran, CA through booking.com. I wasn't able to make the trip so I canceled my rooms by the deadline to get my money back. I checked my bank account and was charged for the rooms by Budget Inn. When I called the hotel they said that I didn't cancel my room in time and there was nothing they could do. Of course the manager was out of the country so I couldn't talk to him. I was told to contact booking.com to get my money back. When I called booking.com they said I had to work with the hotel. Got the run around and no money back. Do not stay here unless you know for sure that you won't need to cancel. Will never reserve a room or stay at a Budget Inn again! read more

Comparing to its class, this Budget Inn Motel provides comfortable, clean beddings, towels, soaps, clean shower, microwave, mini-fridge, table, TV and fast, free internet ( Yes, faster than the last Best Western and Holiday Inn I was staying at recently ) Furniture is classic 1980s. Who doesn't love to go back to the 80s ? Once in a while you can hear the train in the distance, nostalgic of old western town that was soothing, other than that it's a quiet place. Temperature was comfortable. I slept real well. Free parking in front of room. Motel manager was very polite and helpful. Great customer service. I was on business, stayed just one night. Fellow travelers at adjacent rooms are all decent folks. Definitely will stay here again if I am in the area. Love this town and its people. read more

I was traveling and was looking for a good motel to stay in. I read some of the reviews and I wasn't to sure I wanted to stop here but I was extremely tired so I gave in. The front desk receptionist was really nice and helpful and the room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable. I started a yelp acct just to warn people not to stay here. I travel a fare amount and the conditions at this hotel are some of the worst I have ever experienced. When I got to the hotel it was late and the parking lot was almost empty. I checked in and they gave me a room on the 3rd floor. No big deal until you realize they don't have an elevator. The place is empty and I get stuck on the 3rd floor! Then I went to take a shower and the shower doesn't work! And by doesn't work, I mean NO WATER came out. It came out of the tub, but when I flip the lever to start the shower nothing happened. Water kept filling the tub, but not even one drop out of the shower head. I tried this several times with the same results. I said screw it I'm going to bed, I'll ask for a new room in the morning. I pull back the comforter only to discover several holes burned into the blanket below. GROSS!! Screw it, I'm going to bed. I go to flip on the TV only to find the remote held together by tape. I turn on the TV and the picture is fuzzy and the audio sounds all messed up with no way to a just it. Sigh! I could keep going, but those are the basics. I don't know if the other hotels in the area are any better, but I know I wouldn't stay here again. read more

I go to this hotel about every week for the past almost two and a half years my experience at this my experience at this hotel is always something you the first day I arrived at the hotel my very first time staying in it some girls came to look for me which I had no idea who they were at the time and apparently the young lady in the front desk gave them the room number that I was in and access to a key I didn't think I would stay over again back at this hotel my friend did convince me to stay one more time so that her experience was nothing like this and of course the price was reasonable before the price was $50 a night did hesitate but I figured I was only staying for one night and I didn't want to go too far out of the prison grounds so I decided to stay which went well pleasantly their breakfast is okay it can improve but again it is $50 a night now we are almost two and a half years later these people are raising their prices like crazy never have rooms available well at least they claim they don't and they claim they only have 2 beds available when clearly the whole hotel is empty they have three stories and they always tell you that there's no one beds only to bed so that they can get the most money out of you if you arrived a bit early they will charge you at least a $35 fee it's insane now unfortunately I do keep staying at this hotel I will say that service as in housekeeping is ok they're very pleasant and nice but it can upgrade on cleaning at the end of the day I would not recommend this hotel any longer to any other person visiting Corcoran read more
