Inaccurate results. Poor handling of samples. Taking a week to make it to the lab making chain of custody very questionable

Went to Hypo2 to see Wes after a recommendation from a friend. Wes sees all professional runners in…read morethe area, so I knew this would be the best place for me to seek out help for nagging hip pain that had gone undiagnosed for months. After a brief exam, Wes informed me he believed a torn labrum to be the cause of my hip pain. He ordered imaging after which I was thrown into a circle of back-and-forth opinions as to whether or not the labrum was indeed torn. Fast forward 6 months of continued pain and disagreement between specialists, and I made the decision to undergo hip arthroscopy to get a better look and fix the possible tear in my labrum. After surgery, I awoke the the information that not only did I indeed have 2 labral tears but also a case of FAI as well. I cannot thank Wes and Hypo2 enough for making the initial diagnosis of my labral tears and giving me the confidence I needed to undergo the procedure to have them fixed. Hypo2 is the real deal and will be the first place I turn to with any and all injuries in my running career.

I can't say enough about Wes at Hypo2. I had glute amnesia and all my other muscles that I had been trying to run with were so very painful and tight. After a few meetings I started feeling that I was improving . I had hardly any muscle tone on the gluten muscles needed to run efficiently. Strength training snd rolling was very important- I'm now running extensively and scheduled for my second ultra race and a 100 miler this winter. I love what Wes does and two of my running friends have literally drove from Phoenix to meet with him concerning their running issues. Without him I'm sure I'd still be working the aid stations for everyone else's race- now I'm running my own.

The checked me into the hospital for further testing and the level of care changed. However I sat in my room all afternoon and didn't see a doctor until the next morning. In the ER they discussed the 'cardiac team' that was going to guide me through a testing and treatment plan but the 'team' seems to be mythical, there is no 'team'. Dr Wani was mentioned by just about everyone but I never saw the man, even when I was taking a stress test. He must be very busy. Good facility but disappointed with the medical management.

They first told him his intestine was twisted but could untwist on its own? Really? That seems impossible. Now that he's admitted again, they tell him he has stomach cancer? He hasn't ever got medicine only a hydration pack but he has had some CT scans. They released him a couple days later. I guess he's cured. I also found out that the first time he got released, I was busy but was going to send a uber so he could get home and that front receptionist... the daytime one w grey hair and glasses told me he was refusing all calls from me and wanted No Contact. I said I was going to organize a ride home so she could call me when he got released and she just kept screaming No Contact. I know it's a Wierd place but I found all that very odd and thought maybe my friend just wanted to sleep and didn't want any calls? I found out later that he never said that, no one told him I was on the phone or that he was getting calls and that he never told anyone to not put calls through. He asked why I didn't come by and he was sad that I didn't come to visit that last day(cuz I was there earlier and they said they would release him soon or tomorrow ) and he thought I was mad at him or upset with him for something. So he ended up trying to get a higher price taxi and was waiting in the lobby about 7 minutes after getting discharged and the security guard grabbed him by his coat and threw him out, like forced him out the door physically for trespassing? The guard didn't believe him and the workers and that receptionist didn't even help? I really mean it when I say KEEP YOUR EXPECTATIONS REALLY LOW HERE. It's a very strangely run place. Jan 4. Keep your expectations really low here as you will really be shocked by incidents you encounter. They don't really care for the patients here, the nurses only run tests ordered by the Dr. if you ask anyone staff for help, they all say "It's not my job" I told one lady, it's not my job either but I'm doing all the grunt work trying to get it handled! I see a lot of Wierd signs around the buildings promoting being nice to the workers there which seems as if they have a LOT of customer service and patient service problems. My sick friend never got medicine and was ignored a lot in the 4-5 days he was there. He was left dirty and refused use of the shower also. It's kind of a downhill low budget run place, with strange protocols.

I paid the amount because I had to drive a significant distance to get to my study done. I had already provided my insurance information twice, so I paid assuming it would be resolved once billed. Afterward, they billed my claim incorrectly and tried to make it my problem. The claim was submitted with the wrong ID and group number, causing an "eligibility denial," and I was told to call my insurance instead of them reviewing it. After pushing and literally walking them through the claim they finally found THEIR errors. If I didn't understand billing, I would have been stuck paying a bill I don't owe. Huge concerns with training and billing practices. It's unfortunate, because the actual imaging experience was perfectly pleasant, but the billing issues alone make me unlikely to return.
