Called 2 different AC places for quotes to get our air ducts cleaned. The company that starts with…read morea "G" and is hard to spell, quoted us $2500, but then told us we needed other things done. Ultimately they wanted to install a new $25,000 AC unit and would clean the ducts for "free". The second company that came out, name starts with "F", and that's what they wanted to do. We didn't even let the guy finish the inspection to get a quote because he too wanted to upsell us. We then called Gesundheit. Mr. Barker gave a quote over the phone based on the number of vents in the house. Added cleaning the dryer vent for an additional $129. The two guys that came out did a great job cleaning the vents and cleaning up after the job was done. They took care to treat our home with respect as they performed their job. I'm here to tell you this has to be one of the best experiences I have ever had with a small family owned company. The integrity that Joel the owner showed is just the best. I try my best to use locally owned companies in Flagstaff and give them a chance to earn my business. I have tried to get service or a replacement fireplace here in Flagstaff for years. All the other companies do not even want to take a look at repairing my fireplace. They all want to replace it. Joel and Wizard's talked to me about evaluating the fireplace before any recommendations. Wow! What a refreshing experience. Joel did a thorough job at looking at all the parts of the fireplace. Explained as he went. I had no idea that the gas fireplace logs "must" be set in a specific configuration for the unit to work properly. He looked up the manual and made sure the fireplace was set up correctly. Once he did his evaluation he got it working in no time at all. Again.... He got my fireplace to work rather than push me to buy a new one like the competition. The value in being able to save over $15,000 was incredible. How can anyone write a bad post or review when clearly this man is genuine and honest!!! I can't stress enough that this is a great company and worth it to you to try them. This is the second time Jason has been here and he is very good. My complaint comes with the fee charged $497 for a 45 minute job. This was up $130 from last year which was up over $100 from the year before!! I'm a 70 year old widow. They don't offer a Senior discount but when I called I was informed that had I had the job done between Memorial day and Labor day I would have gotten a 10% discount. Nice that they never informed me of that after ALL these years. I probably wouldn't have done that because I wouldn't have wanted anyone up on my roof in temperatures of 100 +. I'll be looking for someone else. So much for loyalty.

He bought heavy chains and rings (hardware style) that are too heavy and prevent our chimney flues from opening fully. The chimney used to draw perfectly but now smoke backs up into our house. My husband contacted him last spring to say the chimney wasn't drawing properly but he said the season was over and he was doing other work. After multiple texts with Aaron this week and him saying the hardware he installed was good quality and that the chimney was poor quality, I called a friend for help. Greg helped me remove the chains and rings (see photo below) because they were too heavy for the flus. Now the chimney is drawing perfectly again.

I have run business that deal with the general public and have had to deal with the review process, so I really like how he handled the review. Aaron arrived and started walking thru the units I wanted checked. He is very honest & upfront, I made sure he knew not to surge coat anything for us, as we like brutal honesty, honest work ethic and good service. Aaron had all of these in spades. He did inform us of where the previous installed had messed up and not only made mistakes, but installed the incorrect type of fireplaces in a room or 2. We felt his honest approach was refreshing. He did. not try to screw us into making any large purchases or needed repairs. I felt he was very reasonable on the bill compared to the time he spent at the house and helping me by repairing a couple items.
