Just bring it over this morning and we will have it done by 5:00. Sounds like a small locally owned shop that you want to support and do business with right? Quick service and good price! Well, when I dropped the car off at 10:30 she confirmed 5:00 today. At 4:30 I called to see if it was done and she said it's going to take a little longer than I thought but it will be done today. At 5:30 I stopped by and they still hadn't gotten the old one out yet. She said its more complex than I thought but we will get it done before we go home. The car was finally ready at 9:30 pm so I guess give them credit for staying late (ie 2 stars and not 1). On the way home I stopped to get the alternator checked at autozone and they pointed out that the wire to the alternator wasn't even hooked up so it wasn't working properly. So I came home and had to finish the job myself. If it sounds too good to be true. It probably is. So do yourself a favor. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else!!! PS. At the time, Jason assured me this vehicle had a brand new engine, and that a considerable amount of other parts and components where recently replaced, as Jason had owned this vehicle prior. At the time, this truck had just over 240000 miles and Jason assured me that if I brought the truck to him he would honor a "warranty" that would cover parts... No labor. At the time, i was being pressured from my organization to purchase a vehicle, so I had little choice but to agree. Furthermore, I made the mistake of not paying attention to the quality of tire and what kind of rims/tires the truck needed... 22s as it were are difficult because no one has them on hand... The truck ran fine for a couple of months until those tires had to be replaced... Only 3000 miles after I bought the truck. Increasingly, more and more, issues began to arise with this vehicle... Coolant lines needing to be replaced, oil pressure senders and sensors going bad... My dashboard backlight going out (they are not individual lamps, but a whole piece that needs to be replaced) and to top it off- the knock sensor in the "brand new" engine Jason claimed all began showing signs of wear and needed changing... Fast forward to today- 255,000 miles on the frame - I've sunk close to $2500 already, owing $2800 still and still needing close to 1k work... Igo to ask Jason to to honor his promise for a warranty on the knock sensor and the dash light as I feel they pertain to the year warranty... What do I get as a response? Defensive rhetoric and accusations of not taking care of the vehicle... This guy will go back on his word and professional promises to his customers. Never had a problem with my car, it turned off like 3 times and the engine was "hesitating". Never met Emilio or see him, we only talked on the phone. I dropped my car off, and I was never told about the 120.00 for a diagnostic (that'sok I understand some shops charge for a diagnostic. I told him to check the battery. I know it is just the battery. Well, he never did. He called me about 4 hours later and told me I needed a new transmission. Didn't give me a report or the codes th Nissan threw. He just gave me a receipt for 120.00 and told me I need a new transmission. He quoted me $4,200.00 for a used transmission and $5,118.38 for new transmission parts and labor. I borrowed some mo ey and almost called him back to fix my car because I have brand new tires on my car, new rotors break pads I take very good care of all my cars. Si anyway last night I said again I know my transmission is good I know it. I removed the battery too to it O'Reilly, and my battery was bad. I still had a warranty, so I got a new battery. I said problem solve. I went to drive my car to see what the transmission was doing, and it turned off 3 times right away. Guess what? MY TRUCK HAD NO GAS ON IT. My kid drives it, and since it and so little gas, we would only drive it half a block, and it would turn off so we would come home right away so gas light sensor never turned on. I know it's silly, but I hadn't used it. I was busy, and that's why I took it to Emilio. I called him, and he seemed mad. He has an attitude, and he says, "Your truck threw the codes." That's not the point. Maybe the transmission is going bad eventually, but so far, all my car needed was a new battery and gas. DO NOT GO HERE EVER. Also, my regular mechanic quoted me $3,500.00 new transmission. The cost is $2,200.00 at the dealership. They charge way too much as well.

The scammers told me I needed to pay $1400 to get my a/c fixed and made up a completely fictitious problem with the a/c. Dewey said I just needed freon. He put it in and it leaked out. I got an estimate from elsewhere who said there were three leaks and I had to pay $1200 to get it fixed. Then I took it to Subaru who said they couldn't confirm whether there were three leaks due to the dye already being present, but said they could fix the presumed three leaks for $900. Whereupon I finally found Dewey's phone number and took it to him. He fixed it all up for $289. I will never go anywhere else. It is darn hard for a woman to get an honest assessment.
