DO NOT bring your car here. My boyfriend brought his car to to Bjar the week of May 25th because the engine was misfiring. Bjar told us he had fixed cars with the same issue before, estimated the repair would take 1-2 days, and quoted $2,000. Based on those assurances, we agreed to move forward. After a week and a half, we still hadn't received any updates. My boyfriend had to stop by the shop himself just to find out what was going on. At that point, Bjar told him the car was fixed, so we paid the bill and left. Within five minutes of driving off the lot, the engine was still misfiring the exact issue we brought the vehicle in to repair. After nearly two weeks and $2,000, the original problem had not been resolved. We returned to the shop. Rather than taking responsibility, Bjar was rude and repeatedly insisted that the situation was not his fault. He even mentioned, "I fixed it, but I didn't test run the car." Hearing that was unbelievable. How can a repair be considered complete without even test-driving the vehicle to confirm the issue is actually fixed? What was originally supposed to be a 1-2 day repair turned into a month long ordeal. Throughout that time, communication was non-existent. To make matters worse, we were charged an additional $780 for extra repairs that Bjar never communicated to us that needed to be fixed nor did we authorize him to make those fixes. There was no communication about these extra charges until it came time to pay. Between the month long timeline, lack of communication, unresolved repair, unexpected charges, and unprofessional attitude, this was one of the worst experiences I've had with an auto repair shop. I was charged $95 to have my car battery replaced. I brought my own battery from Autozone (Autozone wasn't able to change it). $95 is way too much, but I was desperate. He originally quoted me higher but went down when I commented on the insane amount. He was not very friendly either. It's probably an okay place for a state inspection, but I wouldn't come here again for anything else. read more

6/18/2026 I had a problem with my car and took it to this repair shop and they said it was a misfire they "fixed" it. So I paid $2,128.02 I got my car back and it misfired again so I brought it back under warranty and they found another problem but I never authorized them to fix the other problem I just authorized them to fix the misfire since it was under warranty. Now they are trying to charge me $780.93 for another repair that I never authorized I also noticed questionable charges on the invoice from the original repair. The labor warranty charge shows a quantity of 3.4, and the 3% credit card fee shows a quantity of 1.7. These charges added nearly $450 to the bill. On the unauthorized repair invoice you can see the labor warranty charge shows a quantity of 2.3. I don't understand how they are coming up with the these numbers. It should only be a quantity of 1 charged instead of 3.4 or 2.3 for warranty and credit card fee. After I paid and told him I recorded the conversation and had proof of him agreeing that it was unauthorized. After I left and he tried running after me and telling me he can help me but I'm done arguing and doing business with them. This is illegal and unacceptable. Response to the owner: Ok I understand the 3.4 is for the labor charge now but I never authorized you to fix the second problem you even said it yourself in the video "I just put it in there to see if it works." I never authorized you to do that you said you will take it back out and put my old part in but my car has been in your shop for more than a week now for a 2hr job. I don't want you touching my car or doing anything else to my car because i don't trust you or want to wait another 3 days to get my car back. You forcefully made me sign the invoice to get my car back you can even see the date of the invoice was for today I never signed anything before to authorize the second repair. I agree with the wonderful reviews for Bjar and this car shop! I am thankful for Yelp that I was able to find their business. My mothers car had some issues after not being driven for awhile and they let me know they could take the car that day (Thursday afternoon). I told them I was not in a rush and could pick up on Saturday but got the car towed there on Thursday late afternoon. They worked on it the following day (Friday) and the car was ready for pick up on Saturday as promised and he patiently went over the work completed and gave me time to ask any questions. The new battery they installed has a 3 year warranty and he made sure to emphasize that. He also let me know his suggestion on getting my next inspection, he kindly told me the process for my knowledge. I intend to take it back for the inspection. We paid the amount he had initially quoted and were very happy with their work and integrity. Car trouble can be stressful so I was extremely relieved to find a place with kind and reliable service!! Most trustworthy auto experience I have had. After YEARS of overpaying for services at BMW, I brought my car here on a recommendation. My battery had been a bit funky with the recent storm and my car refused to start several times. Mark and Vinny were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and most importantly, taught me about my car! Had a tire leak, heard this place was good. Put some air in my tire and drove over. I pulled up, and had my tire checked in less than 5 min. Turns out it was a nail. The mechanic removed my tire, patched it, and had me back on the road in less than 20 min. Excellent service, fastest I have ever been taken care of at any auto shop. And an excellent value. Looking at my last review of this place, I am super lucky to have a newer car that does has not needed any work on it (knock on wood). This shop is across the street from the carwash I go to all of the time so I stopped in after I was done at the carwash to get my car inspected. They told me it would take about 15 minutes before they could get to me so I was there about 30 minutes. Not bad. I sat in the waiting room and in that time I saw the owner give a guy a ride to the ATM, and then the owner telling another lady that she should probably take her car to the dealership for the repairs that she needed. That is the same costumer service and honesty I remembered from my past visits. I will always have this place tucked in the back of my mind for car services.
