We were told that Corduroy, located in old Vegas, had the best lie in Vegas and we decided it was our duty to discover the truth! Mules are not my typical drink but the husband loves them so we each ordered one to test. The bartender made our drinks and told us that they make their own ginger beer here and obviously use that in their mules. It was AMAZING! The ginger beer really comes through but not in an overwhelming way like so many others I've tried. We both agreed that it was hands down the best mule either of us have ever had!! Atmosphere is dive bar in the best ways! Old 70-80's nostalgic adds on the tv and 90's music playing. Absolutely must add to your To Do list in Vegas!

So glad we found this place! It was late afternoon so it wasn't very busy but the vibe was still amazing. Music was so fun and drinks were 10/10 best mule I have ever had! The service was genuine and we had such a great time, it was hard to leave!!

Great experience I'll never forget. We went for boozy bingo and it was very awesome and fun. Atmosphere was great and the DJ was funny and interactive with all guests. Will come again when I'm back in Vegas. Keep doing your thang.

Fun little bar on Fremont!! The bartenders are super friendly Walking in on a Saturday around midnight there was hardly a wait to get in and getting drinks was easy considering it was still busy

This is our second time in Las Vegas, and I read about boozy bingo here on yelp. Im so glad we decided to come out. We got there a little early, and we sat a the bar and had some Long Island iced teas. I highly recommend sitting at the bar! The bartender was very friendly, and watching him make these beautiful drinks was very interesting! They played awesome 90s-2000s hard rock, and the DJ for bingo was so fun!

I ended up here on a very random night and had a blast! We played bingo and they gave out free shots. I'd definitely go back again.

One of few bars in the area without a cover on a Saturday night, we were surprised to that Corduroy wasn't too busy around 9 PM. We walked directly up to the bar and ordered drinks. I noticed that when you check in on Yelp, you can get BOGO Moscow Mules. A Moscow Mule would have been my drink of choice anyway, so I was stoked for this offer. The bartender was a little hesitant to give it to me, and went and asked his supervisor if it was okay. I found this a little disconcerting, but they did end up making good on the offer so I can't complain. This Moscow Mule was unlike any I had had before in that it was the spiciest ginger beer I've ever had. I love a spicy ginger beer, so was crazy about this, but it wasn't for the faint of heart. Others in my group weren't the biggest fans. They also serve a ton of fresh mint on top, dusted with powdered sugar. I believe it was about $14. I loved it so much, I asked one of the bartenders what ginger beer they use so I could get some for my home use - she said that they MAKE THEIR OWN! Outstanding. They had a great DJ loudly playing all kinds of different music. They also have a few arcade games in the back, and you can't skip their iconic photo booth room. Overall, the vibes at Corduroy are excellent. It's a much bigger space that originally meets the eye. Make sure you keep walking to the back to see all of their great, slightly more private, areas. Love it here!

We spent two nights on the Fremont experience, stayed at circa, and we wanted to check out some bars we've walked by for years butnever went in. What brought us to the Corduroy was the pickle back shots. We were happy to see there was spicy and regular pickle juice available. Feels like a dive bar, but without the stickiness, has a nice conversation pit to be among friends, and the strobe room was an experience. Kaylee helped us when we got there and let us know about everything corduroy has to offer. She was extremely inviting and always tended to us. The spicy pickle juice was in burn your tongue forever spicy, and went away with some water, but definitely has a kick. We went back the next day for the pickle backs and Gary helped us this time. Another server made us feel welcomed. He also gave us random Vegas fun facts. Whether you're looking for somewhere to start or end the night while at Fremont, I suggest checking out corduroy, especially if you like pickles.

My favorite bar to go to on any night. Bartenders are SOOO nice and will help you make a decision of what you would like! Music is definitely a vibe here. The place might seem like just a regular bar, but once you go back to the bar it is a trendy hangout place. You can take picture with your friends with their famous light background and there are more seats and tables in the back-which if great if you are going with a crowd of friends. Best martini in my opinion is made here LOL

An interior shot. There are some other rooms down that hall.

The venue itself is beautifully designed, with a more intimate, sophisticated feel compared to larger Las Vegas clubs. It's a great option if you're looking for something stylish with a strong music and ambiance focus. The overall vibe is smooth and elevated -- great music, well-dressed crowd, and an atmosphere that feels exclusive without being overwhelming. One thing worth noting is the camera policy. The venue emphasizes a no-camera experience, which I understand is meant to maintain privacy and keep the focus on the moment. However, I did notice a few cameras out and about during the night, which made the policy feel a bit inconsistent. Not a major issue, but something that stood out. We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
