I loved it here. It was my happy place…read more Unfortunately another member asked me to fix her bra strap. Then "titty bumped" me. Then had the audacity to ask me for a massage. Sigh. I told her I felt extremely uncomfortable and that her request was highly inappropriate. The passive aggressive behavior that followed was enough to escalate to the management team. Which was useless. Every one that knows me, knows I just wanted to workout ‍ They chose the path of least resistance and decided to double down and make me want to quit and leave the gym. A trainer posted videos of me without my permission. I escalated my updated complaint to corporate of sexual harassment, harassment, threats and bullying. On April 27th Energy Fitness verbally terminated my membership. When I asked about class pass or another member inviting me, they said I was banned on June 3, 2026. This was retaliation for my complaint, a violation of my rights, discrimination and against the NYS human rights law. These aren't just "mean girls" management. These are a group of miserable women who are opening you up to a lawsuit. I wonder how many complaints there are against these "mean girls"?

Since it was a very small class, the instructor spent more time watching and fixing our forms. I usually take classes that are at least double the size, so it's easy to get lost in the group. All of the staff and coaches make you feel comfortable no matter your ability level. * Just have to say, I was present as the previous one star reviewer walked in and demanded the world stop to help her. This was my second class and I did something stupid when setting up my app so I purposely showed up super early to get help with that before class. So what were they to do? Tell me to eff off and jump to your assistance??? They explicitly tell you to come 30 minutes early because they need to do an orientation for your first class btw. This person was so rude to the staff that I just stepped away and told them don't worry I'll figure it out after class, so they could try and deal with that. They were beyond nice and apologetic to her as she responded with a nasty attitude, not understanding that there is an orientation that needs to be done FOR HER SAFETY. I know they will respond with a very professional apology on Yelp and welcome her back, which is a shame because she was so damn rude. Anyways very happy I joined, the workouts and staff are awesome.

He modifies workouts of individuals paying attention to weaknesses or previous injuries. You hardly realize that you are constantly improving and getting stronger. Today I did a hand stand! Last year I attended my first CF class here. It was my first class at a gym since elementary school. Truly disappointed in this company. I started a trial run with this location to see how I would…read morelike their classes and guidance. I had hit a weight loss plateau and wanted a guided class to try new workouts. In my third class, I was being helped by a new instructor and Alex (the manager) or so I thought. It was clear that during the whole class that I needed modifications and guidance. In my last station #18, it was a box jump, since I was not guided to not do it, I tried it and felt my knee pop. I was stuck on the box since I couldn't step down with just one functional leg and in excruciating pain. Alex ran over and helped me down and was evaluating my knee. He said to elevate it and ice it and that if I didn't feel better, I should get seen by a physician the next day. He also mentioned "oh, you had an injury already" which I was adamant I had never. Long story short, it's been 4 months later, full right lateral meniscus repair (not a shave down) and thousands in medical bills, I'm using a cane after 2 months preop because of the long recovery due to this injury and a big hit to my weight loss journey. The only response I got from this place was that since I signed a waiver, it was my own liability and any injury is on me. Why have 2 instructors if you don't need to be guided and coached on these dangerous exercises that are not meant for everyone? As a medical professional it is mind boggling that a franchise like this is so irresponsible and has such negligence with their clients after having to pay big bucks to attend these classes. I truly hope this doesn't happen to you because the physical, mental and emotional pain this has caused me all these months is truly devastating .
