Great local gym, much closer than webster, small but has great hours and all equipment I need. So thankful they are month to month also without large annual fees. Highly recommend! I love to support local businesses too! read more

I'm a new member to this gym. They recently just opened in the gorgeous building right across from the canal. The owners Jonathon and Den are extremely welcoming and accommodating. They have opened up such an extraordinary place that they are obviously very proud of. The equipment is new and up to date. Everything is really clean. The bathrooms are nice. They are open from 5am-midnight ( I believe but will start operating 24/7 very shortly ) New members get the change to be in a raffle every week for Bills tickets. Like come on, how awesome is that?! The classes are great, the atmosphere is fantastic. They offer a ton of classes that are perfect for all ages and genders. It really is a no-judgement zone kinda feel. I believe sometime in September, Ashker's is opening up a smoothie/juice/fresh food deal in the actual gym. I'm extremely excited about that! This place is nothing short but a motivational sanctuary. You will come in and leave feeling like a million bucks! read more

I did a free class at Core tonight and decided to purchase a membership. The gym is very clean and the staff goes above and beyond. It's a completely different experience than a big box gym like Fitness 19 or LA Fitness. The staff wasn't intimidating or pushy, the class offerings are great, and the equipment is wonderful. I definitely recommend it. Parking is a bit tricky the first time you're there, but they have passes for members. read more

If your looking for a gym that will fit all your needs, and help you reach you fitness goals look no further! This is perfect for all gym goers, and has great equipment, and even more on its way. Also it has a sauna,and is the only gym around the area that will offer a ice bath as well! Go check out this great gym you won't be disappointed! read more

This is a really clean and friendly gym. The owner is very knowledgeable about fitness. It's also have an ice bath!!! He also have a barber shop that connect with the gym also. Which I find very convenient. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I am a member of Core Fitness. I love this gym. They have spin, row, boxing and many others. I've gone to classes and I love them. Den and Jonathan the owners are awesome. This facility is really clean. I got a tour of the facility and loved it. They showed me everything. They offer many different things that other gyms do not. If I were you I would definitely check it out! I'll be starting my work out after this last holiday weekend. They have a lot of great machines that I'm going to take advantage of. Their hours are 5am-midnight too! Go check it out! read more

Great place with great people! They have great rates, and it is very easy to get to. Extremely clean and tidy with nice facilities. I definitely look forward to coming back often. Highly recommend Core Fitness to anybody looking for a gym along the canal in North Tonawanda! read more

This place is seriously the best, it has the feel of a big gym, but none of the contracts, crowding and meat heads! Equipment is new and clean, bathrooms are really nice (also clean), gym is bright and airy, also music is upbeat (no need for headphones here!). Owner Den is super friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Class schedule is awesome and they are super fun, yet challenging. Keep up the great work! :) read more

I love Wickham farms!…read more I've been going here for 4 years and I feel like every year it gets busier (so that does definitely have a downside as the farm and parking lot get full), and they add more cute little things around the farm as well as more events. You're not allowed to bring any food or drinks in, but they now have enough food options that I think most could find something that works for them. The hot foods like burgers are pretty basic and remind me of school lunches, so they're a bit overpriced for what they are. The apple cider shakeups are the best though, and they also have great apple cider donuts and slushy. Highly recommend. Tickets are pretty expensive. If you're an adult without kids, it might be worth it to buy the full ticket pass (for apple picking and the fun farm area) once if you want to check it out, but in general I recommend buying the apple picking ticket only. You get to pick a bag of apples, take some cute pics in some of the areas set up for that purpose, and check out the pumpkins and the store, where you can buy the apple shakeup and donut. In the summer they also have flower picking events and the sunflower spectacular tickets which have also been a great time!

However, I bit the bullet and found the value($23.95 for barnyard tickets and $28.95 including apple picking) to be worthwhile as well as the selection of activities for all ages to be enjoyable. To every member of the staff that we approached, they were all very kind and informative. We got to enjoy the apple cider donuts, apple cider, pumpkin smash, and the ride to the apple orchards. We were surprised to see an event where they drop a large pumpkin high above ground, but it was very cool to watch (and wondered if this was because this was their last weekend of opening!)

There are a few different activities for the kids, some the same as the location in Penfield such as the sand pit (here it's rubber), the big standup spinner, and the signature dinosaurs. Plenty to keep the kids happy. My kids loved it here!

The first half seemed that way! There were book pages laid out in weather proof stands to read as we walked. It was flat and wide, and follows the water. But as soon as you turn the bend and walk up those stairs, everything changes. It gets thin and overgrown, roots and rocks are everywhere, and one misstep would probably send you down the hill on either side if you're not careful. I would definitely classify this trail as a moderate, and would not recommend the second half to anyone who isn't steady on their feet! The rest of the park: Beautiful! So many wide open areas! Water, which always earns brownie points for ambience. A few covered pavilions, a really fun playground area, and an impressive community center. I'm not sure I would walk the trail again, but I would definitely come back here for everything else!
