This business was used by my insurance. They representatives are quick to the phone and do the best they can to assist. On the other hand, there is a incongruence with the drivers. I scheduled a pickup at 9. However, they weren't able to pickup the car until 5PM. They are better than other tow services in the area for 2 reasons. They have availability in 48 hours. They at least pickup the car within the same business day as scheduled even if it's very late. Edit: I changed it from 3 to 1 stars. I actually used this business before. I had a car accident. A driver was available at the location to pickup another vehicle. He took all of my information down. However, he never came back to pickup my car. Before of that, I had my car impounded and it cost me significantly just to get rid of a totaled car. read more

- 35 minutes wait time my - Our car battery died since we waited for the newly opened Kura sushi in Bellevue for too long, so we called our insurance company and they assigned this local company to us to help. The original ETA is 35 minutes, but it is still 35 minutes after 1.5 hours of waiting. What happened is this company doesn't understand how to do ETA correctly. There was one guy working that night only and he was still on the previous job, that's why their ETA is the traveling time from the previous location to ours, without considering how long the previous job would take. After multiple phone calls and wait, we asked the insurance company to assign another local company and we were assigned one that cannot be found on Google, but the guy came after 20 minutes since it was assigned to him and jump started our car in 2 min and we were on our way. Long story short, call nonstop to reach to ur insurance company if they assign this local company to you as their ETA is very very off. I repeat, try to get someone else to help if you can because their ETA is the worst thing in the world. I mean, I'm sure their service is fine as it's not hard to jump start a car.. but u will have to pass that ETA hurdle first, which we did not. While we are between calls, I mentioned to my husband that I'm gonna write a bad review for this place, and he said sure, I give you permission to do so (he RARELY does since he doesn't want to hurt any business in COVID). And he told me the company's name is core values. I'm like " core values? Did they name themselves that because they don't have any?" Wife's suv broke down in our driveway in North Idaho. Called Geico for a tow to a shop in Spokane.(Closest one) On two separate days, these people didn't show. I had to call in late to work on the first day to wait for them. Second day, they canceled the tow themselves saying that Geico did. Called Geico who called them and they told Geico that they didn't have the equipment to tow a medium sized SUV.... At least have the guts to say you don't want to drive out to me. I wish my insurance company didn't use them. The arrival time for service extended by 45-60 minutes three times! I initially requested service at 0830, then at 0925-the app said arriving soon. At 1015-still nothing and my service request on the app disappeared, so I requested service again through my insurance. My insurance company connected me to this same company. The wait time was then 45 minutes, but I missed a call from them (no voice messages left). When I called back within 5 minutes, they had already dispatched their driver to another job and extended my wait time yet again. I was initially quoted 75 to 90 min for expected arrival time. After 90 min. I called them and was hung up on as they picked up the phone. I called back and was put on hold. When they answered the phone, they said the driver was delayed and would be another 35 min. So I waited and called again after the 35 min and they said the driver got a flat and could not make it and they would need to dispatch another driver. Really? They don't know how to change a flat or call the customer that they are running late? They then said it would be another hour before they could get another driver to jump start my car. Progressive contacted me via text and asked if the driver had ever showed and I responded, No. They said they would assign another company. What did they do? They assigned me this stupid company again with another 40 to 55 min wait. Then they revised in a follow-up text to 90 min. This is when I gave up after waiting 3 hrs., and contacted my own service. I had the same experience as most of the other reviews. My husband and I used this company through Farmers for a Roadside Assistance issue. Our app gave us a 14 minute wait time. Waited 30 min. Called and they told us 20 to 40 min. Still no one. Call again, they said the driver was pulled away to a Police call. We were told again that we would have to wait another 20 minutes. Still took about 40 minutes for the tow truck to get there. Spoke with Honk, who dispatches the drivers and they told me that companies can release the dispatch if they can't fulfill the tow but Honk can't take take the dispatch back. The company is just trying to hold on to as many dispatches as they can and does not take the person waiting for the tow into account. They are doing something deceptive as your app never said more than a 30 minute wait but we were being told verbally different times by the dispatcher. read more

I don't know why Starlink uses this service, they're incredibly unreliable. The initial estimate for services was 75 minutes, which is already a long time considering i'm in a suburb just outside of the metro (never had to wait that long with any other service from Starlink). After over two hours of waiting, I call Starlink and they say it'll be another 30 minutes. I called 35 minutes later and it'll be another 20 minutes. The dispatchers are clearly inadequate and have no idea how to do their job. After speaking to the person who gave me my service they've done stuff like this before. I don't know how they still have a job when they are ok with leaving people stranded for hours when they have the control to not do that. And the whole time I never got a status of the eta changing. I had to call every single time. IT TOOK 3 HOURS to get a very simple service of a jump start. That dispatcher really needs to go. I looked up Core Values after I called Progressive road side assistance for a battery jump. Needless to say I was upset and expected lousy timing. I was told 30 - 60 min, the mechanic arrived in 32 min. Very pleasant, great explanations, which I needed. I told him about the reviews on yelp. He explained some insurance roadside assistance seem to sit on the request before sending it out. He showed me on his phone when he got the message - same time that I wrote down the arrival estimate. So if they are late, just ask when they got the request - he said it's all by text and available to show any customer. read more

If I could rate 0/5 I would. I needed a simple battery jump this morning at 8 am. The original ETA was 50-70 minutes, after about 75 (1 hour 15 minutes) I called for an update. They told me about 9:15 am that it would be another 30-40 minutes due to the driver being delayed on their current call. My Insurance then calls me at 9:30 am to say that they called it would be another 30-40 minutes, they assumed that would include the extra 15 I've already been waiting. Well a little after 10 am I called them and they informed me there was another delay but I am next on the list and it's going to be another 30-35 minutes. This is 100% unacceptable and I've advised my insurance to never pair with this company again. And if I ever have to call for roadside and get assigned this company I will DEMAND someone else. They contacted Core values roadside service as the provider. They never contacted me, I had to contact them several times. It took over 4 hours before they finally responded. They asked "do you still need service?" Unmmmm, no. We had to find an alternative solution since your company sucks. Reading others' reviews was mind-blowingly validating. I have never had such a terrible roadside assistance "response." I was linked up with Core Values Bellevue, then Core Values Kent for a simple lock out. I am not over exaggerating when I say that it took 18 hours for me to get into my car. Now granted, that is including time overnight. I'll be brief as I am exhausted. I called my insurance company to request assistance on the lockout at 5:30. They called Core Values Bellevue and gave me an eta of 90 minutes. Thankfully I was in town to see my partner so I had a place to wait. Almost two hours pass. I called my insurance again, they apologize and reach out to CV. 75 minutes is the new eta. Again, almost two hours pass. I call back, they call CV, 90 minute eta. At that point it'd be past 11, we both work in the morning, but fine. 11:30, I actually get a call from Core Values instead and they ask if they can just come in the morning. All of my work supplies are in my car, this is beyond frustrating, but I'm so tired at this point so i ask how early they can come. 7, the agent says, they'll call me at 6:30. I wake up at 6, expecting a call at 6:30am. Of course there was no call. I reach out to my insurance company around 7:30 explaining the situation and requesting a completely different company. They tell me they've set me up with Core Values Kent. I explained my trepidation of using another CV company, but sure, different staff I'd guess. 90 minute eta. That's cutting into my income but what else am I going to do. At 90 minutes, I call my insurance back and explain again. They say they'll try again, come back and tell me the company had an employee who was assigned to my order call out. Okay, never communicated that. Eta of 45 minutes, said they'd prioritize me since I'd been waiting so long. You'll never guess what happened. They never showed up, never called. Called back my insurance and requested to never use this company again for me (hopefully anyone else). Got Shannon's Towing and they came in less than 20 minutes. Avoid Core Values at all cost. I was sent a tow truck driver from this business for a dead car battery. It just needed a jump. After waiting for over an hour it said through the State Farm app they were at the site. But I never saw the whites of there eyes. It turns out that they assumed I was in a paid parking lot which is further from the truth(it was free) so they decided not to show up because I wouldn't pay for the parking fee. I used these guys recently via USAA after keys were locked inside the truck. The service agent was friendly and worked quickly once he arrived but the service time was ridiculous. I was originally told 45 mins, then it was extended for 1.5 hours, and then again for an hour. A total of 3.45 hours of waiting under a tree in the heat. I understand things happen but overall the experience just wasn't great and when I tried to contact the company, they did not respond to my messages. read more

My mom calls me and tells me she has a flat tire so I head to where she's at and call the insurance company (Liberty Mutual) for roadside assistance. The estimated wait time was originally 50-65 mins. Ok, cool so I wait. In my head, I'm thinking I'd rather wait an hour or so to get the flat tire replaced by the spare then get it towed. An hour and a half goes by and I call Core Values and Hazel, the customer service rep, tells me they are on their way. Ok, cool. Another 45 mins go by and I look at the Roadside Connect portal to look at their ETA and it literally stated SERVICE COMPLETE. Holy shit! Service complete and they literally did not show! I call Hazel back and she tells me she'll try to reach the driver and that she'd give me a call back in 5 mins. Ok, still cool, calm, and collected. Another 20 mins go by and Hazel is yet to call back. So I call her ass back and when I give her my name she hangs up on on me! So I call my insurance company and tell them of the situation and the Liberty Mutual customer service rep tells me that Hazel was trying to call me to reach me since the driver couldn't locate it me! BULLSHIT. I was in awe! At this point I had been waiting with my mom for 3 hours just to get a spare tire on! This business is absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL. Super ironic this is called "core values". I called USAA at 3:50pm requesting help for a flat. They connected with Core Values' Portland dispatch and quoted me 40 min. After 40 min I get a call from a man named Joshua who says he got stuck in traffic and needs 30 more min. No problem it happens. 30 min later I get another call from Joshua saying it will be another 30 minutes, he's driving from Hillsboro OR (14 mi / 30 min away) and has never driven in Portland (odd for roadside assistance dispatch in Portland), I tell him well I guess that's all you can do. I'm feeling pretty chill today and it's a hard year so whatever, mind you I did leave the grocery store and have a car full of groceries, but food is replaceable. 30 MINUTES LATER JOSHUA TELLS ME HE NEEDS 30 MINUTES. I'm stuck in a loop. Joshua what is going on? I plead. But for real I ask him what is going on and remind him Hillsboro is like 30 min tops from Portland. He doesn't like this. "You Portlanders are so sensitive" I'm from Oklahoma I tell him and remind him I've been waiting 2 hours with groceries and a full bladder. He tells me to "just use the restroom". Wow why didn't I think of that. I tell him I'm stranded in a parking lot of a Taco Bell "go there" I remind him it's a pandemic and Taco Bell is not sharing their restrooms. I stupidly think I can tug on his humanity by telling him I'm a medical professional who works in the hospital and times are tough and I'd just really like to be home. "If you work in a hospital then you shouldn't be so f***ing sensitive!" If you work for roadside assistance in Portland shouldn't you be able to follow a map in Portland, Joshua!? I start crying, because I am a little sensitive, but that's none of Josh's business and he wouldn't have known that if he didn't yell at me! I ask him not to yell, you probably already realize that this was not something he would agree to. I hang up and call USAA and cry to them, then I decide to prove Josh wrong and do it myself! I cannot loosen the lug nuts, because I am in fact possibly too sensitive. Luckily the most amazing Good Samaritans see me struggling with my sensitive delicate hands and offer to help. They put my spare on for me. An HOUR after Josh and my last convo he has still not shown up. I then get a text from USAA saying Joshua has told them he finished the job! He did not. I made it home at 7pm. My frozen food is now just "food". Would not recommend, however would recommend those two dudes who helped me. After 75minutes I called for an update then was told it would take 40 more minutes. 40 minutes later I was told 25 more minutes. After that they ignored my calls and after I called from a different number they told me their car broke down and would require a new car and 55 more minutes. 55 minutes later they called again informing that the car broke down (they must have forgot they used that excuse already). After that I dropped them and luckily Lola Bear Roadside Assistance came in 40 minutes and got me going in a couple minutes. Please do not use this company. I see all the reviews saying they were late, and I can confirm this. I was told they would be like 90 minutes, then after 90 minutes had passed it said 45 minutes, then that passed and it said (!!!) 690 minutes. I cancelled it and scheduled it for the next day, and then they showed up on time (a few minutes early) for that new appointment. Since I was at home, this was no problem, but I wouldn't use them if I was stranded. On the other hand, the guy was friendly and professional and got my wheel off in twenty minutes, even though it was stuck on the car and I'd spent an hour on it and was pretty exhausted by the end, and I know it was a busy day with the snow. My insurance company dispatched this company to come out and jump-start my car. The technician showed up late, was very rude, and didn't even enter the garage. He fixed it after fiddling around for some time. The technician was in a hurry to get to the next job and left without properly fixing the car. My car was turned off and he left even I was calling him from my garage to come back to take a look that car turned off again. He told me that he has other jobs to go to and I have to call for another request to jumpstart(which would cost me another $75 dollars). Worthless service! read more
