It's quite easy to take advantage of the pre built selections which is what we did but the next visit I will build my own though a unbelievable amount of combinations might be overwhelming. I was lamenting to him that I missed CA for so many reasons but the main one was access to high quality, healthy, delicious and fresh food! I am giving this place 4 stars simply because it is easy and healthy. I have tried CoreLife twice now, both times on my way to Target. The menu is pretty varied and offers enough to satisfy you when you're hungry for a healthy meal. They have salads, soups, noodle bowls, and maybe grain bowls too. I also like the unsweet tea options that they have on tap for your imbibing pleasure. The prices are about like going to any of the spots where you order as you go down the line and then pay and pick up your food at the end. My bestfriend and I both received coupons in the mail for corelife and with us trying to start healthy eating we figured this was a perfect chance to get out of the house and try some new food. We were pretty stoked after seeing the menu, and even though our boyfriends weren't looking forward to it as much as us, we were excited to get 4 different items to try between all of us. I got the Thai noodle bowl, my boyfriend got the fire poke tuna Bowl along with the tomato and broccoli and cheddar soups. I noticed when making my bowl they put the cabbage and a dressing in with the noddles and veggies which I didn't expect, but still had an open mind... Well these textures did NOT work together, my boyfriend poked fun at me that he liked it more than I did until he tried it and agreed that it was not good. With the soft noodles, tender veggies and chucks of crunchy cabbage I didn't take more then 5 or 6 bites before I decided to stop. My boyfriend on the other hand LOVED his tuna fire poke bowl which I agree was delicious. The broccoli and cheddar soup was great, but the tomatoe unfortunately was a miss. I wish they had more options on the DoorDash kids menu, but the food is good and healthy. I've tried a number of their dishes. The only one I didn't like was the Korean Bowel. There was so much meat on the Korean Bowel. Normally, when I order from places like this, I'm interested on munching on veggies. They also sell chicken bone broth by itself. I'm pretty excited about that since sipping bone broth is a beauty trend. I got the curry chicken soup today. It was really tasty. Normally, I go for their vegan stuff though! I try to eat less meat even though I'm not vegetarian or vegan. I highly recommend this place for meatless meals. read more

I can't believe that I've waited sooo long to try this place! You walk in and it's honestly a breath of fresh air! The layout is clean and the fresh food display is burr bliss! I have finally found my new favorite spot! Tonight we ordered two fire poke bowls and I got the Korean pulled pork tack on naan bread and my husband ordered the spicy Thai chicken taco with a lettuce wrap. Holy cow!! My tack was seriously to die for! The pickles had the best flavor, I literally could t get enough. My husbands was pretty good too but I def prefer the naan shell! Now for the poke bowl...it was huge! I was afraid that they would be small Bc online they look tiny! The portions were fantastic, the only flaw was some of the fish was a bit frozen in the middle and the fire sauce was insanely spicy so I think I'll go with a different sauce next time. Now for the drink selection! YALL!!! It was the most incredible selection I've EVER seen! All fresh and organic ingredients! My favorite was the fig + vanilla tea and the berry tea! For 2 poke bowls ($11 and some change each) 2 tacos ($3.50 each) and a drink ($2.95-worth it) our total was $31 with military discount!! Highly recommend core life, really enjoyed the food and the ambiance- it's more of the casual dining that's not quite full restaurant experience, but not fast food (think qdoba, Panera, etc) prices are reasonable at around $10-13 per person, bowls are all customizable. All of the staff are super friendly and seem genuinely happy to be at work which makes for a really inviting atmosphere. The food is really good! I was lucky enough to get invited to the soft opening of CoreLife last night. They opened a few minutes late but otherwise it was a pretty seamless opening. The style of this restaurant is similar to Qdoba. You go through a line and pick out what you want on your entree. The ingredients all seemed to be extremely fresh and everything was aesthetically pleasing. I had the Ranch Flank Steak Bowl. It was tasty except for the steak which had a good flavor but was pretty tough. My mom had a steak and bleu cheese salad. She agreed that it was all good except for the steak as well. Drinks are self serve and there's a wide variety of lemonade, punch, coffee and tea. No soft drinks!! This place strives to be as healthy as possible. read more

I don't get across the river much, but when I do I try to eat somewhere new. If you are not in the mood to feel healthy after eating and words like kale and green make you roll your eyes, then don't go here. It's a fast food counter order experience but everything is clean, orderly, looks fresh and you use real silverware and dish ware. I had the Tune Poke Fire Rice bowl. Delicious. The tuna melted in my mouth and there's so many pickled ingredients involved (cabbage, jalapeños, onions) that I'm a fan already. Enough spice from the jalapeños and fire sauce to wake you up but not grabbing for water. I recommend this! I also like that you have a choice of a small or large bowl (because healthy eating is about portions too). Also, had a side of the roasted root vegetables which were perfectly seasoned. Only thing I don't care for is you have to do the put all the dishes in separate containers cleanup. It's a quirk of mine, but this place is tasty. Two of my girlfriends love this place, talk highly about it and go here all the time. I finally tried and I see why they like it. It's healthy, counter-service fast food. My issue with it is it doesn't taste good. Flavorless broth in the Korean dish, flavorless noodles and spice in the Vietnamese dish, dry bland falafel and flavorless hummus. My daughter put it best- it tastes healthy. Not it tastes good. I can see why people who don't cook at home, or don't know how to make healthy dishes at home might eat here, but I won't be returning on my own. It wasn't awful, it just wasn't good and my falafel-hummus power plate with salad left me unsatisfied I paid $30 for 2 entrees and 2 drinks at self service. For that price, I could have been served fresh flavorful food at Chef Israel's or piled leftovers in a bowl, which is what I in fact did when I got home and was still hungry. read more

I attended their soft opening (which was probably the most well-organized soft opening I've ever attended), and I've been a fan ever since. Their bowls are healthy, but flavorful and very filling. My favorite drink is the cayenne cranberry lemonade with the ginger honey lemonade coming in at a very close second.
