I'm a big fan of CorePower, but unfortunately, this location hasn't lived up to my expectations that I've developed from all the other CPY locations I've been to. I've been attending this location more frequently lately because its close to my parents, but I still prefer all the other metro locations to this one. A few of the reasons this CPY is not my favorite: 1. I attended a 5pm Sculpt class that had no cardio - I've never been to a CPY Sculpt class with zero cardio in it, and I really missed it! 2. Are the classes not 60 minutes long? I've been to 2 classes that ended at 55 minutes. 3. I've felt rushed to leave the locker room if I want to shower after class. I don't take long showers, but I'd say at about 10 minutes after class the locker rooms start to shut down. The studio is very clean and has a good amount of showers with shampoo, conditioner, and soap included. Parking is also easy, as the studio is located in a strip mall. Overall, if you are in the area, this is a fine CorePower, but if you live closer to any of the others, I wouldn't go out of the way to attend classes here. read more

For locals, the facility was the old "Fashion Bug" but you'd sure never know it! The locker rooms and studios are top notch. CorePower is a bit of the West Coast in the Midwest and I truly hope the location thrives as it is bright spot in an otherwise rundown strip mall. Don't let the location dissuade you from checking out the earthy and energizing interior (yes, it alone may help the MN winter blues). CorePower (location independent) is NOT for everyone. CorePower is not for the yoga purist or anyone who feels uncomfortable in the heat/humidity. The three different instructors I had were well trained, worked each wall of the room and offered hands-on assistance with poses. You get their personality through their music selection and pose sequences. Your first week is free, so you've got nothing to lose! Give it a try and I guarantee you will feel alive. Unless you're experienced in Birkram or accustomed to a good Zone 4 workout, ensure you choose a "C1" course. I've given this particular CorePower a 4/5 stars for the simple fact it doesn't have a "feel" or "vibe" yet. I'd love to see it adopt "Minnesotan" roots instead of sticking with the exact franchise guidelines. It does suck that there are no windows in the studios, but maybe there is a fun way to bring the outside into the studios? read more

I like this particular location. it's smaller than most, but its very clean and instructors for Sculpt class are fun and motivating. kind of an interesting location in an old strip mall with mismatch stores, but don't let that get you. I'll be back! read more

I've been coming here for the past few months and I really like it! The studios and bathrooms are kept very clean. All the instructors are so nice and encouraging. They are always willing to help out with any poses or inversions you might be struggling with. The classes are fun and I always leave feeling like I had a great workout but yet calm at the same time, if that's possible. It's a great way to relieve stress! What's great about Corepower Yoga is that you can try it out for one week free if you're new and/or you don't want to commit to it right off the bat. The classes are a bit pricey so I'd check out Groupon for any deals first (That's how I started). However, they often have membership deals of their own so look out for those! read more

You will feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. The place is beautiful! Nice, clean, fully stocked locker rooms. The yoga rooms are serene. The teachers are calm, patient with just the right amount of encouragement. I really enjoyed Allison and Cassie's classes! read more

Wow. This is for sure the nicest CorePower Studio we've been to. The facilities, teachers, variety of classes, staff, and spa are just incredible. We live in Uptown and go to that studio on a regular basis and love it. This Apple Valley studio opened near my parents home where I grew up. I convinced mom and dad to give it a try (your first week is FREE), and I'm so glad I did. They both are now monthly auto pay members and totally addicted - and even though I live a half hour away I find myself wanting to make the drive because this studio is SO impressive. If you're new to Yoga, as we all were at some point, there couldn't be a better studio to give it a try. Again, it's FREE for a week, but more importantly the teachers, staff and community here are welcoming, helpful, and just fun! I knew my mom would love it, but the fact that my dad is now hooked is a testament to how life-changing yoga can be when combined with an amazing setting like the Apple Valley CP. And to top all of this off their in-studio SPA is fantastic! My wife and I both received a service and felt they were among the best we've ever had. We are now Spa members too :) Everything is new, big, beautiful, and every detail was thought of. Check it out! read more

Let me start by saying I'm a yoga instructor, not at corepower but it various other places. The instructors here are good the facility is beautiful and I'm so glad that there are decent classes in the South burbs. I only do hot yoga in the winter when its negative five million. And that for me is more philosophical about building your own heat. This is my favorite hot yoga place. read more

I can never find the words for how much I love this place. I had never tried yoga or really exercised before I started at CorePower Apple Valley when they opened 4 months ago, and my progress is unwaveringly noticeable, even beyond the studio. The instructors come from such a loving intention to help you, and the connectedness that you feel after attending a class will renew and energize you. I am so thrilled this Studio opened in Apple Valley, I look forward to every chance I can catch a class, and I will continue to leave each class with an extra pep in my step! If you've never done yoga before I recommend a Candlelight class for a nice slow relaxed flow, or a C1 if you're a beginner but want a touch more of a workout. If you've done yoga, and like a little more of an intense workout, I LOVE the C2s - A bit faster paced and you can learn more advanced poses if you like. If you've done yoga and like the HEAT, go to Hot yoga Express - I seem to learn more about each posture, what it does, and how to get deeper :) If you want to feel like you've REALLY had a workout--take a sculpt class, you'll definitely get your heart rate up! read more

I SHUN THE PLACE! Assistant Mgr and staff gave me a bunch of BS about their services to get my money. When I discovered the various discrepancies and confronted them, they basically said "Not our problem." What? This is no way to treat a customer -- especially since they are NEW to Apple Valley. I love this core power! I was new to yoga when I first came here a month ago and was a little apprehensive but convinced myself to try out a class (free yoga for a week)! I'm so glad I did. Everyone is so warm and welcoming here - never making you feel judged because of your experience level. The teachers really encourage you to be ok with where you are in your practice and to listen to what your body needs that day. It is a clean, peaceful atmosphere and every instructor I've had so far has been awesome. I decided to commit to the black tag membership as an investment in my mind body and spirit.
