Great location, easy to get to and friendly staff. The only knock is that they have some older machines compared to other PF locations. I love the vibe here. Machines are usually available. They start an application, charge your credit card $70 and make you finish the sign up on another day because they need more info, allowing them to open a 2nd account in your name. I feel bad giving this location 3 stars because the workers seem friendly and the place is well maintained but something is just off about the equipment at this specific location. I have moved around quite a bit and have the PF Black Card so I have been to roughly 10 different Planet Fitnesses and this one has my least favorite equipment. Some of the machines I enjoy at other locations they just straight up don't have at this location (leg curl machine laying on your stomach, yellow row machine). Along with that, it seems like some of the equipment they do have was not tested on humans before being built. Their leg press machine and cable row machine have probably the most awkward angle of any I have ever used. And the weights on their free use cables have to be off. Every other gym I go to (including other PFs) I'll use 30 pounds for certain lifts and here I need to put it on 50+ pounds for the same lifts. Definitely not a major deal but like I said... something is just off about a portion of the equipment and it is different from any other gym/Planet Fitness I have been to. read more

I mean, IDK, I dont have Covid yet? I like the people who work here. I liked the people who worked here in 2019 too. I dont have the space or money to invest in something like a treadmill for my home right now. The location works well for me. Half of the cardio machines are blocked off to encourage distancing. Most people are not wearing masks, which is totally legal for a gym. I wish more people would consider trying to wear a mask when doing activities like weight lifting and mild-medium cardio. The hours are slightly different now, and capacity is about 80. I try to do a quick count and I dont think I've been there with more than 35-40 and that doesnt feel too bad. It also doesnt feel great. I bet there are times when it is less crowded but my schedule is only so flexible. read more

Covid messed up the world, closed our gyms for months. This review is just for post covid, after reopening. First off, super pleased they stopped charging people for their monthly membership while they were closed. Plus, it was a month after reopening that they started charging again, because they had just charged for the month, then closed a few days later. **The new check in process isn't much different from before, you scan your card, or give the employee behind the desk your phone number. **Masks are required when not working out - which seems a bit silly cause the workout area is right next to the entry and lockers - but its a mandate, so, whatever. **All employees (that I have encountered) are wearing masks, and wearing them properly. **Max capacity posted on the doors. This club is 82. I would not feel comfortable with 82 people in that space, though. I counted 25 the last time I was there, and that felt like too many. Clearly that is going to vary person to person, my comfort level was maxed out at that point. **Every other machine is blocked off for social distancing. Members mostly seem to leave more space between, if available. I always hated that person that would take the machine right next to me when there was an entire row available elsewhere. Don't be that person. LOL **Cleaning stations are clearly labeled and plentiful. **Locker rooms are open, with showers and toilets available for use. **Water fountains are for bottle filling only. **Black Card amenities are available for use, employees appear to clean after each use. **Members are mostly respectful and clean their equipment after use, though I have seen people either wipe quickly or not wipe at all. I recommend wiping down your equipment prior to use, as well as after use. Overall, I feel as safe as you can in a gym, while people are sweating and breathing hard around you. Not a very busy Saturday night but there was only one person on staff. Many sanitizing bottles and paper towel dispensers were left empty and the person on staff didn't get up from their chair behind the check-in desk for the entire hour I was there to check on those dispensers. I kept checking to see if they would come around and refill them but they seemed to be hanging out with a friend who wasn't there to workout but was sitting at a table in the lobby and played music on their phone out loud. Members do their part in cleaning off the machines when they are finished but I saw many members have to walk around the gym in search for paper towels or bottles of sanitizer that were filled. read more

For me PF is a good value to work out at. I don't need much out of a gym, but love the 30 minute workout stations! I also went for the Upgraded membership mostly for the hydro massage and will never use the free tanning! Biggest drawback is the weird smell when you walk in, kinda smells like cat pee. read more

Audy is the entire reason why my husband and I joined this gym. She gave us a wonderful, detailed tour as well as left us with no questions to ask because she covered everything. I've been a member for about four months, and love the location, the size, the cleanliness and friendly staff. I see staff cleaning all of the time, and there are plenty of machines to keep a safe distance from other users during Covid times. However, now that it's winter and cold in Minnesota, they have the heat cranked up high. I asked the guys at the front desk what they had the temperature set on, as it felt like a heat blast to the minute you walked in. They said it was set at 74°! At a gym, I feel it shouldn't be more than 70° (or lower) because people are working out. At one point after my cardio I almost felt lightheaded, and I always try to get under one of the big ceiling fans. It's warmer in the winter than it is in the summer with AC. I've mentioned the heat a couple of times, as has other members, but nothing has changed. read more

I have never been treated so horribly in my life! I went to the gym to work out to relieve some stress after an already rough day. I was so looking forward to relaxing in the hydro chair after I killed my workout! So I went and grabbed a sugar free energy drink and stood at the counter waiting to pay for it and for someone to start a chair for me. There was a sign that said that the staff member was doing a walk around the gym, no problem. I had my music, and I was checking some emails. About 20 minutes later, another customer came up to the desk wanting to pay for his drink. I told him that I had been there for a while, no sign of anyone. He said he would walk around and look for someone, while I stayed at the desk. He found no one, and no one came to the desk. At this point, I am just about to go home, but I notice the screen is on behind the desk with icons for the hydro chairs and the word "start" under each chair. So I reach over the counter and tap start. At that moment, Justin happens to walk in the door(he was NOT walking around the gym) with a plastic food container in his hand. He says, "Can I help you?" and I explained that I had been standing there waiting for a long time, so I finally pressed the button. He said "OH, no, we don't just do our own thing here!" And I told him, that I understood, and I apologized for pushing the button, but I did not know where he was or when he was coming back. And he just kept repeating, ''We don't just do our own thing here!" Never did he acknowledge the fact that he left the gym unattended or that the note that he put on the desk was inaccurate. When I asked for a manager's phone number, he gave me a CARD that had the phone number for the club on it. I called that number, and it said that the line was busy, which is interesting because I also tried calling that number while I was waiting for Justin, and I got the same response. So I told Justin about the answer that I was receiving, and he gave me another card with the manager's name on it, and the SAME PHONE NUMBER as the other card! Justin asked me if I wanted to pay for my drink, and I did so. As I was paying for my drink, I attempted to have a peaceful conversation with Justin about what had happened, but he talked over me and would not allow me to speak. He was purposely engaging other members in pleasant conversation and being hostile towards me. I was so upset that I left the gym in tears and called Planet Fitness HQ in the parking lot( of course Justin watched until I drove off). This morning I called the club again, and got the same message last night, that the line is busy. I wrote an email, no response. I also have not heard back from HQ. I will cancel my membership. But I also need it to be known that Planet Fitness employs such a person. This man had no problem disrespecting, humiliating, and showing a very condescending attitude toward me because he was upset that I touched the computer screen. I understand that it was wrong on my part. I sincerely apologized then, and I apologize now. But the way he treated me was borderline abusive. And the fact that I am being ignored by the business adds insult to injury. And all of this from a place that promotes acceptance and no judgement. Shame on you Planet Fitness!! read more

This location knows nothing about customer service. We have been a Black Card member since the location opened. The staff at the front desk, esp Emily F is particularly rude. They challenged my wife to report them to corporate - after refusing her access to a massage chair. They kept giving her access to the broken chair when the other two were empty. I like this gym to some extent- the membership rates are CHEAP ($10/month), the equipment is new and the place seems clean- my problem is it smells BAD. It's not necessarily the same smell as other sweaty, dirty gyms I've been too- so I don't know if it's the new equipment or what it could possibly be, but it's kind of a chalky, dusty, chemical smell and it's very, very strong and I often leave with a headache due to the odor. Oftentimes when I'm working out, I'm consciously trying to breathe through my mouth because the smell is so strong. I've never had this problem at other gyms before, so not sure how long I'll stay at Planet Fitness, even though I like everything else about it. read more

Got a membership and cancelled it within a month of getting it solely to due the fact that it is too far of a drive for me to workout before work. I continued to get charged for 2 additional months and an annual fee. I have made 12+ phone calls in attempt to resolve this issue and get a refund. I was promised 4 times of reimbursement within 10 days, none of which was actually done. Still trying to resolve the issue after 3 months of being overcharged totaling almost 100$. If I could get any sort of help from PF I would have rated higher, but no one will help solve this issue. read more

Prices obviously are super low equipment is always up to date and never not working. Somethings have been damaged which should be fixed considering they do make money. Bathrooms in the locker rooms smell horrible not sure how often they are cleaned. In my opinion majority everyone there is nice and friendly expect the big white blonde male who works overnights/ or morning and one older lady. I came in on 11/27/2021 @ 9 am and was left with a bad taste in my mouth after the older lady that was working there was completely rude. Not sure if she was just in a bad mood or just didn't think someone with my skin color could "afford" the black card lmfao! She checked me in and immediately complained about the fact she had to type in my number because I canceled my membership and had a few weeks left therefore my app stopped working. Anyways she saw I was a black card member then after my work out I asked her to use the hydromassage chairs while she was talking on her personal phone. She rolled her eyes and asked if I was a black card member. When sure as hell saw that I was. I told her yes. She left the desk multiple times and guest were confused on what to do. Just joined a few days ago. Place is pretty clean a lot bigger then I expected and many machine to pick from . I also don't notice the weird smells fr some of the comments. I needed a gym that was accessible to me 24 hours of the day so this was by far a great choice for the price. This will be my gym during the late evening. As far days goes will still be going to my regular gym. Staff are friendly and OK. I don't expect them to be friends with me so I'm not not cry and give bad ratings over it. read more

This is a newer PF location, great equipment options, very clean (the staff is always cleaning something), and the staff is friendly. The management is a joke here! All the way up! I called and asked about cancelling my membership and they told me to come in anytime before my next billing cycle and I did. Well, they are still charging me for the next month! And 4 days later they are closing due to covid! They did this to me the first time, when they charged me a month then closed due to covid. Never got my money back, had to pay the annual membership fee, and they closed for 5 months. Now I cancel and they close and they STILL KEEP MY MONEY! Unfortunately due to covid I cannot afford it any longer, I am a single mother of 3 teenage sons. This month I had to choose between the gym or my electric bill. Well my electric bill isn't paid because planet fitness just had to have that $50!!! I have called talked to manager, e-mailed a couple times trying to talk to district supervisor or ANYONE, but I am being ignored. I am extremely upset by how they are treating me and my kids on this issue at this time! I guess $50 is more important to them then my kids having electricity. Real nice! read more

My wife and I joined this club a few months back after 4 years of disappointing membership at LA Fitness across the highway. We could not be happier and we do not regret the switch. First of all, this club is open all the time (No more waiting for staff to show up to open at 5 AM or 8 AM and hoping that today would not be another day that they were late..). Second, the people that work at Planet Fitness are KIND and they actually appreciate our business. In fact, they know us by name and started referring to us by name by our second week. (We went to LA Fitness for over 4 years and never were we greeted kindly or thanked for our patronage). Third, this place is impeccably clean. I mean they go out of their way to clean the club---vacuuming, wiping down, wet vac, etc. Finally, the space itself is well used. There is no shortage of cardio equipment and a decent amount of circuit training equipment. If you are a big proponent of free weights, however, I would suggest coming by to be sure there was enough for you. read more
