Dr. Walther, Thank you for squeezing me in the day before Thanksgiving this year. I really appreciate you making time to help me out. I was thrilled that I was able to eat over the Thanksgiving holiday. I called about 15 dentists last Wednesday looking for someone to help me out as my dentist was out of town and I could not reach him. Dr. Walther was the only place that was able to fit me in early enough to get home to start celebrating with my family Wednesday night. I had to wait quite a while to be seen and even worked on once seen, but he DID squeeze me in. I can't complain about that! This is a very fancy dentist office. The chairs are automated and your xrays show up on a computer monitor next to you rather than hung up in front of a bright screen and viewed that way. The ladies that work for him were all very kind and personable. I really enjoyed this trip to the dentist, as much as one can. One weird thing is they do not have a little sink next to your chair for you to rinse and spit. The assistant will rinse out your mouth and suction up the excess. It was weird because I had the urge to spit, but had no where to do so. Kinda interesting how that is suppose to work. I did not care for this part. Not gonna lie, you will notice the increased cost of going to this dentist rather than your old fashion guy that holds a button down to move your chair up and down and doesn't have big fancy machines throughout the office to build teeth. This is a very clean and well maintained office. Much more advanced than what I am a custom to. Dentistry is dentistry. I am not impressed with all the showy stuff, but impressed if you can make my pain go away and repair my issues without much cost to me. His rates are little on the higher side, but they were pretty darn great! read more

I recently received a letter regarding a $50 dollar fee for missed appointment from the Dentist Office. I called regarding the fee, hoping they would removed it since this was my first time being charged. For the record I have never been informed of this NEW policy. I did ask where I could find the policy and was told it is on all new patient forms (which would not apply to me) and on all receipts. The manager informed me she could not remove it, when I asked if I could have my medical records sent via email I was informed that I would not receive them until the fee was paid. I understand polices change, but I was dishearten that I was unable to get a pass and find it alerting that if you do not pay first you can not get your medical records. BTW, I have been a patient here for over 4 years, paid all bills on time, drive from the city to their office, and had a medical emergency at the time of the appointment. I just wished that I could have gotten a warning before being charge and be able to receive my medical records before paying. That seems quite illegal. I cracked my tooth the night before, and needed to see a dentist the next day (which was a Saturday, and my regular dentist was out!). I called this office because they were open and received good reviews on Yelp. They were amazing from the start! The receptionist were caring and scheduled me to see Dr. Mathews (the other dentist in their office) that same day. The office itself was set up to be safe (Covid), and the dental assistant was kind and trustworthy. Dr. Mathews did a great job in getting me out of pain, and giving my cracked tooth a temporary filling so I can use my dental insurance with my regular dentist later. She was great, and wished this place took my insurance, STRONGLY recommend! read more

Historically I was not a "fan" of dentistry, it scared the heck out of me, but something in the way they work here just puts me at ease. She is your relentless champion for dealing with insurance issues. Sara is the best dental hygienist I've ever had! Dr Walther is constantly growing as a dentist, adding skill sets via further education that will make the practices more complete for his patients. He recently added the dental implant techniques that allow him to personally preform the procedure in office. OUTSTANDING! I've used ol' Doc Walther for a few years now. Never any scheduling problems, never had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time (which REALLY irritates me). I always start out with Sara who does the cleaning. When she's done, Dr Walther takes a look to make sure everything is ok, reviews the x-rays, etc. They always remember me and Sara even remembers little details about what we talked about last time like my dogs or trips. I haven't had much major work done except for the past year. I've had two crown and will soon have an old filling replaced. If the anesthetic isn't working right away he will either wait for it to start working or give another shot. I'm a big guy (wide, not tall!) so it takes 2 a lot of times! He will start if I tell him that it's just starting to work and I tell him it's ok - but then will wait again if it starts hurting too much before the anesthetic kicks in all the way. Make your next appointment here! By the way, ol' Doc Walther isn't that old - late 30's/early 40's. read more

Dr. Walther always makes sure that I'm comfortable and will provide me with more numbing if needed. Well, I was in a lot this year, and so was my Husband. So much so, that they know us by name when we walk through the doors! We had cleanings, fillings, and root canals with crowns - the works. I postponed dental care because of negative issues with past dentists and am happy we found a good one to go to. I was amazed every time at how fast they could get us in and out of there and with minimal pain/discomfort; the most painful part was the process of getting numbed up. Dr. Walther is very down-to-earth and cares about his patients and so is his staff. They are also very punctual and almost always get you in right on time; out of all the visits, I only recollected one time where there was any wait and even then it was maybe 10-15 mins max, which is still amazing for any medical/dental office. Sometimes we walked in right at the appointment time and had someone waiting to walk us straight back. Going back to have some minor cosmetic work done in the near future. read more

Stay away from this guy. He uses this B.S. "diagnodent" machine to find cavities. Google this thing. I went to Dr. Walther the first time because I was new to the area. Never had problems with my teeth, my previous dentist said that my teeth were some of the best he's seen. This guy then uses this "diagnodent" machine and says I have 6-7 cavities and he wants to fill them! I let him do half of them (which I shouldn't have even let him do those!) and changed dentists. My new dentist says I have no cavities on the remaining half that Dr. Walther said I needed fixed. This guys a scammer!! Stay away from dentists that use the "diagnodent" machine! It's a load of crap. My new dentist agrees with me about the "diagnodent". read more

I am always greeted with a smile and asked how I have been doing etc. Sara has been cleaning my teeth for many years and I would not have it any other way, she is simply amazing!
