Wonderful wine bar just off of the main 'downtown' strip of Baldwin Park (Jake Street). They have bar seating, lounge seating and booth seating. We opted to sit at the bar as we were out for date night and we don't get to sit at the bar too often. The bartender was very friendly and helped us choose wines we enjoyed. She allowed my husband to try out a few samples of wine based on what he told her he likes. He was able to find a Moscato he enjoyed and had a couple glasses of that while we were there. They do have food options from the Meza Restaurant that shares a space next door to them. We did the triple dip - tzatziki, babganoush, and hummus with pita bread. We opted to add on cucumber and carrot slices as well. It was delicious!! Overall: A+ Wonderful little bar space in Baldwin. They have a great chill vibe and it was easy to relax and enjoy our evening.

A quaint wine bar (that has beer) located in Baldwin Park. This used to be Uptown Wine (same place ... appears to be different ownership ‍). A friend and I met up for a glass of wine. I can say that the wine I had was delicious and affordable compared to when I when this was uptown. Maybe if was a different choice of wine.. or just better altogether? Either way, yay! The lady behind the bar was super helpful and very attentive. She explained that if we wanted food that we could order from next-door and it would be served to us by her. Score! Because we were very hungry. The chalkboard listed happy hour from 4 to 7 PM. With a wine of the day for $8. The deals listed paired with not being too far from home but definitely bring me back. All in all it's a nice quiet place to have a glass of wine... Or two and relax or chitchat with a friend.

It is located in the Mills 50 district next to Tori Tori (another local FAV). It is truly a nice little getaway spot from the usual hustle and bustle of the Mills 50 bar scene. They have seating indoors and outdoors. Their outdoor patio area is charming and adorned with umbrellas, and the fountain just adds a special touch, as well as masks the typical street sounds of passing cars and passersby. In the cooler months, the patio is just a vibe! The interior is just as charming with "French-inspired" influences, lovely lighting & decor that ties in the European escape this wine bar beautifully embodies. On my first visit, we tried to sit outdoors, but the Florida heat (& bees) had other plans for us. So, we transitioned inside and sat at their bar area. We were immediately greeted by the kindest servers who guided us on their menu selections. My friend and I, with similar wine tastes (we both love our wines DRY like DESERT), both opted for a glass of rosé and YUM! We followed it up with a white selection recommended by our server, and we enjoyed it immensely. Truly ten, ten, tens across the board! We did not eat (which, in all honesty, is okay with me). And based on reviews from various other Yelpers, the consensus SEEMS to be to eat prior to coming to Lorelei. So, I kept that in mind and on my second visit to Lorelei, I decided to just try MORE of their wine selection. On my most recent visit, we did try some light bites. Typically, on all my visits, I usually cap around two glasses of wine, and it's reasonable. They are not the cheapest spot, especially if you add food to your tab, but for the quality, it is worth it (to me as it relates to the wine selection), as I haven't really had a terrible glass of wine there. Maybe on my next visit, I'll try more of their food menu. Beyond that, Lorelei has been a great addition to the Mills 50 District! I am looking forward to how they will grow with the community!

I loved this experience and will happily come back to visit. We arrived the hour before closing on a Sunday, so the kitchen was closed. But we had a glass of a really nice Sangiovese and chatted with the servers. It's such a classy little spot with some truly amazing photo ops for the group. There were a couple girls taking pics outside when we arrived, so of course I told my parents they needed to do a pic as well. The food menu looked amazing and I will try some bites next time. The bottles of wine were more expensive than expected, but the glasses and beers were very reasonable.

It's decorated with lots of plants and flowers, which makes it stand out. Once you walk inside, the ambiance is very relaxed with a nice country-style vibe. If you're planning to come here, I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We had to wait for our table, so it's better to plan ahead. As far as the food, I ordered something that was okay, but honestly, it didn't really blow my mind. The people I was with ordered the chicken sandwich and tomato soup, and they really enjoyed those. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest issue during our visit. I would give the service 2 stars out of 5. It took a very long time for our waitress to come over and take our order. There were also several issues with the drinks. She brought mine but forgot the rest of the party. Later, she brought one more and then forgot another one. She seemed to be all over the place, and eventually we had to ask someone else for one of my kids' drinks. When she finally came back, she explained that they were out of some of the items we had ordered, so one person in our party couldn't get what they originally wanted. After we placed the new order, it also took quite some time for the food to come out. We were there around lunchtime, so I was surprised that the service was moving so slowly. One thing to know is that they currently only have one menu for brunch and dinner which would be helpful for checking the options ahead of time. On the bright side, they do have happy hour, which is always a plus. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the location, but the service definitely needs some improvement. This location is right on Park Avenue in Winter Park, so it's a nice area to visit and walk around afterward.

When I ordered the zucchini entree, the waiter,, Teaya, asked if I was plant based and wanted to substitute the parmesian cheese for a plant based cheese. She was such a thoughtful waitress and that was a really neat option they offered for plant based diets. Every single item I had was so delicious. As we know, vegetarian and gluten free often times doesn't get the same amount of flavor and attention as other foods, but that was not the case here. The vegetarian escargot was so delicious. The sauce had the same taste as real escargot, but of course the items brought their own flavor. The mushrooms were my favorite as they tasted closest to the real thing, but I was impressed they included plantains and figs. Each dessert on the Magical Dining menu was great. My favorite ended up being the chocolate mousse. Typically I don't like plain chocolate desserts, but I really liked theirs because you could taste it was handmade mousse and the whipped cream as well was handmade. The seating was limited, so I recommend reservations. It's located in the center of Hannibal Square, a super cutie spot in Winter Park. There was a free parking lot a short walk away as well.

Reservations are highly recommended as the seating is limited. It has a nice quiet neighborhood ambiance fitting for this area. Two other Yelp Elites (Lorn C. and Mikhail C.) joined me and we were seated in a cute half booth at the window. It fit the three of us perfectly and our server, Teaya, always made sure the previous plates were cleared before bringing the next course. Teaya was friendly and efficient and gave us sufficient space to enjoy each other's company. We each started off with a drink, and I ordered the Le Charmel Pinot Noir, which was delicious. We then each ordered our three course selections to start the evening. There was no rush to finish our drinks or dinner, which was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed the following three courses. First, the Plant-based "Escargot" was a mixture of mushrooms, zucchini, plantain and black figs. The "Escargot" in this appetizer's name comes from the plate it was served on and the delicious sauce prepared with it. Snails were not a part of this mixture, but they were not missed in this satisfying concoction. For the main course, I chose the Cerdo Iberico Con Salsa Pedro Ximenez. It was a deliciously roast pork tenderloin, sitting in a mustard sauce, which was incredible. It was also accompanied by herb roasted potatoes. Mikhail had the same course, and he raved about it also. For dessert, I chose the Affogato, which was a combination of vanilla gelato with caramel espresso on the side. It was the perfect final act for this magical dining experience. Mikhail chose the Pot De Crème which consisted of a rich chocolate custard with creme Chantilly and sea salt. He allowed Lorn and I a taste, and we all agreed it reminded us of a velvety chocolate mousse that was definitely homemade. Finally, I would like to also commend the manager/owner who checked on us throughout the evening and made us so comfortable in his environment. If you are ever in the Hannibal Square area, especially during the current Magical Dining period, I recommend you try this quaint restaurant. Just remember, as stated above, reservations are recommended.
