Cute place I recently discovered with a friend. We came for happy hour enjoyed a glass of Bordeaux and baba ganoush. I usually don't like anything with aubergine but the waitress convinced me to try it. It was pretty good. Absolutely excellent! Crazy cork is a lovely place to enjoy a celebration or just a cozy spot to enjoy date night! I had the pleasure of enjoying my birthday and found the service and quality to be exceptional. Randy was helpful in helping me select some dishes to serve my guests and the servers were helpful and kind in helping with wine selection. They even provided us generous samples to help us make our decisions. The food was also stellar! The plates were all shareable bites that paired nicely with the wine and felt easy to pass around the large table. The prosciutto wrapped dates stood out as one of my favorites but the flatbreads were a close second. What a great little spot in Oviedo On the Park. They have a great selection of wines, some light bites as well as some more substantial meals (I'm guessing, anyway) The bartender/owner was super helpful in deciding what wines to order. They have some great selections and it's always fun to see. I think they do flights as I saw him preparing one for a table as I was about to leave. I wish that was on the menu somewhere. We stopped in before a show at the Event Center (of which The Crazy Cork was a sponsor) and came here as we didn't want to fill up. We were hoping to kill more time, but everything came out quickly and we only killed about an hour. The lady in the back was killing it with the food though. I don't think she stopped making stuff. The one suggestion with the appetizers is to add a few more pieces of bread, and a few more chips with the tuna appetizer. I had to load up each bite to the point of it not being the right ratio. I admit, it's better than having TOO much bread/chips. I'll be back for more though. I hope they rotate their wines a bit too so it's not the same stuff every time. Time will tell! read more

We have only for drinks so far and it's a lovely spot. I've had great conversations with the husband owner each time we've visited. I actually do want to eat here as the food smells delicious and the ambiance is adorable, but there's a bit of hesitation with the meal prep you can see from the bar side. We stopped by for the happy hour one day and it's was so nice! They have indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick, inviting, and accommodating. The seating outdoors by the water was nice and relaxing. Now for the wine, it was very good, tasty and strong. I tried the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Both were great but I enjoyed the Chardonnay the most. I want to come back and try the food. I only had a bite of the Babaganoush and it was very tasty. I would love to try more. read more

My husband and I dined at The Crazy Cork Wine Bar after months of waiting to try it. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Wednesday night and got lucky enough to get the last table outside on the patio. For appetizers, we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, as well as the Mediterranean salad. Both were good. In addition, we also split the margarita flatbread. My husband enjoyed a glass of white wine. The food was satisfying, but we had room for more. Note that the menu on the website is not currently correct. We had planned to get the chicken pesto flatbread and mushroom risotto, but they offer neither anymore. Furthermore, also note that you must be 21 to dine here. I checked every page on the website and cannot find this. It is a bit pricey, but that's what you can expect at a wine bar. I would recommend coming here with a friend for a light lunch or happy hour with a group. You should probably get here early, especially on a weekend, if you have more than a couple people and want to sit outside. This place is bopping, and that's great to see. read more

The ambiance is casual but can be fancy. Just come as you are feeling and you'll be welcomed warmly by the team and owners. They recommended a great wine. They have a deal where if you get a bottle you can put your number on the cork to be in a drawing for a free bottle the following month. As an Oviedo local, I have grieved the loss of all our best wine bars over the past few years. Thankfully, The Crazy Cork swept in and saved us! My first visit was with some friends for happy hour, during which they currently offer discounts on wines by the glass. They also offer a bunch of small plates as well as larger items. All great for sharing, and all delicious. We ordered the burrata and spinach artichoke dip to share and we were all very pleased. My second visit was with family for their first wine tasting event, featuring wines from a South African winery. The tasting event was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. There was even some small bites to nibble on during the tasting. We of course bought a case for home! The interior is beautifully lit and cozy enough to have an intimate date night, but also suitable for a small group of girlfriends or couples. They also have outdoor seating, so when the weather is nice, you can enjoy your food and wine outside overlooking the lake. I'm so glad we have The Crazy Cork, and we're already looking forward to becoming regulars. read more

We also tried three different wine flights -- the European, the Latin, and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful; all house‑made and absolutely delicious. I never tried the wine bar that used to be in Oviedo in the Publix Plaza, but I can tell you that I was very impressed with both the service food choices, and location of this. I didn't expect much we came here on a double date. We plan to eat dinner elsewhere, but ordered a few things and ended up staying. The wine recommendations were solid. The management and owners were on site and checked in frequently enough that we were cared for, but not overwhelmed, and they did not kick us out at the official closing hour, which was very nice. My wife and I have stopped into The Crazy Cork a few times on date night. Usually we have sat at the bar, sharing a conversation with the owner, Randy. We have found him to be extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of his wine selections. We decided to try it one night for dinner. We found that tapas menu to be very good, though a little limited. I am sure do to a small kitchen space, but the chef's preparations are very good. We selected the smoked Salmon dip, meatballs with polenta and the pork belly. For dessert, we had the pistachio orange cake. It was a great choice as it was light, not overly sweet and balanced well with the meal and wines. Each choice was very delicious and the curated wine selections here, offer something for each person's palette. If you enjoy wines, I would suggest to purchase it by the bottle as the cost would be better. There is no corkage fee. We will be going back for the nightly happy hours for wines and food. The atmosphere is nice, yet casual with outdoor seating. I would highly recommend it for people looking for a special night out. read more
