Food here is soooo good. I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza which was a good amount and also shareable. The salads here a pretty big too. My friends had the chicken salad. The wine flights are tasty and reasonably priced for 4 small glasses of wine. They have different flights and also cocktails. The view of lake eola market and lake Eola is great for people watching. It's cut into 6 pieces so you can share or eat it all yourself! You can sit at the bar, high top tables or on the couches. They do offer outside seating that is under a canopy area. So I have passed by this place for years. Finally I went in for a visit. I assumed it was just a wine bar. I was surprised to see they also have a decent selection of foods and snacks. Reasonably quiet for a "bar" so you could actually have a conversation, which was nice. We opted for the charcuterie board which was nice and you seemed to get a reasonable amount of items for the price. I was in here many, many years ago and finally had the chance to get back here after walking around some of Lake Eola looking at all the Christmas lights they set up. Mimosas, brunch, and a good ole yap session is what my Sunday consisted of. I've been wanting to try out Eola Wine Company for a while, and their brunch was such a vibe! We ordered the Mimosa party which is a bottle of bubbles and two juices for some self-mimosa-mixing (I prefer this because I like a lot 90% champagne and 10% juice in my mimosas). We chose to get the raspberry and banana juices. To my surprise, the banana was actually my favorite (shoutout to the staff for the recommendation on that) but both were stellar! Our Smoked Salmon flatbread was delightful also! We additionally got a cheese board, and it was adorable with the little butterfly shaped crackers. My favorite cheese we had was the Purple Haze. I didn't expect to like a lavender cheese, but it genuinely blew me away. I will definitely be coming back for some more cheese and wine. read more

It seems eola wine company just never hits the spot. Last time I came here, I ordered the pizza and didn't really like it. It could be personal preference though since I did not like the crust. The pizza just doesn't taste anything special. This time, I ordered the Italian sandwich and there just was way too much meat in it. I wish they added more greens and cheese. Not their fault though, I just shouldn't have read the description closely. Their wine selection is pretty good. After walking with my walking group at Lake Eola we went to Eola Wine Company for a bite and believe me was the best decision. My friend and I came in after having one drink at a bar down the street. We sat down, ordered some food, and I ordered some wine as well, thinking the eponymous product in their name would be a fair offering. Our waitress came over and started asking my friend and me about our night. I thought this was a little weird and annoying as small talk, but she was letting my friend carry the conversation, so I figured maybe she was just being friendly. I tried to smile and be pleasant. Suddenly, she flipped the script, practically vibrating with delight at being able to wield such power, and told me she didn't feel comfortable serving me wine because I seemed intoxicated. Holy entrapment, Batman. I didn't realize this was a shakedown! We told her we had each had one drink, and she said she'd get her manager. At that point I was ready to walk out because who needs to be infantilized on a Saturday night? My friend wanted to stick around to hear what the manager had to say, though, so we waited. The manager came out with her best headmistress's hat on, seemingly forgetting that we were customers and not naughty children. She told me, to my utter shock, that the waitress had seen me stumble and that they take alcohol intoxication very seriously, but that we could have some food if we wanted. I had no idea how closely I was being observed at Eola Wine. Apparently the observation had not extended to the fact that I was sitting upright having a completely normal conversation at that very moment. My friend mentioned that some people have disabilities, and I was left pretty stunned by the whole interaction. I am occasionally clumsy, but this has certainly never prevented me from being served before, and there was nothing about my behavior that night that suggested I was intoxicated. We tried to leave, but the manager reiterated that we could have food. I wish I'd said, "We said no, thank you. Now please move so I can stumble home." But I didn't. Instead, I left quietly and am writing this review to describe a uniquely unpleasant experience, one that I will probably laugh about someday but certainly won't forget. The food is mediocre at best, and the wine is overpriced. Special thanks to the restaurant's detective work, which resulted in me being falsely accused of being intoxicated and saving me $80. I'll spend it somewhere I actually enjoy. read more

We always enjoy Eola Wine Company! They have a very nice staff who are friendly and know their menu options. I've never had an issue with getting a taste of wine to help me choose what glass I want with my dinner. Seating outside and inside is great! We love to sit outside and watch the people and dogs go by. There are a lot of dog owners in Thornton Park! Love the cheese and charcuterie board and the flatbreads. The one thing I remembered from this place after all this time was their buffalo chicken flatbread. I had not been to Eola Wine Co in A LONG time before this particular visit. It used to be a regular jaunt for me about 10-11 years ago. The fact that it is still around should say something honestly. A friend and I went there before going to a night market that's across the street. We made it just in time to enjoy happy hour. My friend had never been. Immediately I noticed that the place received a more modern looking upgrade with new paint, decor and furniture. Already a thumbs up in my book! The happy hour was great! We ordered a bottle of wine for the both of us which was reasonably priced and plenty for two (this was a random Thursday, so not exactly a wild night planned). I feel like I audibly gasped when I saw that the buffalo chicken flatbread was still on the menu! I immediately ordered it.
