The Magical Dining experience here was phenomenal. They had multiple gluten free and vegetarian options. I ordered all vegetarian options without mentioning I was a veg. When I ordered the zucchini entree, the waiter,, Teaya, asked if I was plant based and wanted to substitute the parmesian cheese for a plant based cheese. She was such a thoughtful waitress and that was a really neat option they offered for plant based diets. Every single item I had was so delicious. As we know, vegetarian and gluten free often times doesn't get the same amount of flavor and attention as other foods, but that was not the case here. The vegetarian escargot was so delicious. The sauce had the same taste as real escargot, but of course the items brought their own flavor. The mushrooms were my favorite as they tasted closest to the real thing, but I was impressed they included plantains and figs. Each dessert on the Magical Dining menu was great. My favorite ended up being the chocolate mousse. Typically I don't like plain chocolate desserts, but I really liked theirs because you could taste it was handmade mousse and the whipped cream as well was handmade. The seating was limited, so I recommend reservations. It's located in the center of Hannibal Square, a super cutie spot in Winter Park. The 2026 No. 5 Magical Dining visit was to this charming restaurant in Hannibal Square. It's nestled on West New England Avenue, Suite 119 and will reminder you of an intimate bistro with Brazilian and Italian fusion dishes. Reservations are highly recommended as the seating is limited. It has a nice quiet neighborhood ambiance fitting for this area. Two other Yelp Elites (Lorn C. and Mikhail C.) joined me and we were seated in a cute half booth at the window. It fit the three of us perfectly and our server, Teaya, always made sure the previous plates were cleared before bringing the next course. Teaya was friendly and efficient and gave us sufficient space to enjoy each other's company. We each started off with a drink, and I ordered the Le Charmel Pinot Noir, which was delicious. We then each ordered our three course selections to start the evening. There was no rush to finish our drinks or dinner, which was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed the following three courses. First, the Plant-based "Escargot" was a mixture of mushrooms, zucchini, plantain and black figs. The "Escargot" in this appetizer's name comes from the plate it was served on and the delicious sauce prepared with it. Snails were not a part of this mixture, but they were not missed in this satisfying concoction. For the main course, I chose the Cerdo Iberico Con Salsa Pedro Ximenez. It was a deliciously roast pork tenderloin, sitting in a mustard sauce, which was incredible. It was also accompanied by herb roasted potatoes. Mikhail had the same course, and he raved about it also. For dessert, I chose the Affogato, which was a combination of vanilla gelato with caramel espresso on the side. It was the perfect final act for this magical dining experience. Mikhail chose the Pot De Crème which consisted of a rich chocolate custard with creme Chantilly and sea salt. He allowed Lorn and I a taste, and we all agreed it reminded us of a velvety chocolate mousse that was definitely homemade. Finally, I would like to also commend the manager/owner who checked on us throughout the evening and made us so comfortable in his environment. If you are ever in the Hannibal Square area, especially during the current Magical Dining period, I recommend you try this quaint restaurant. I went with the burrito al pesto which had a good sized sphere of soft mozzarella with a bit of tomato pesto and slices of sun dried tomatoes all seated atop fresh arugula and three slices of bread. For my main meal, I had the rabo de toro (oxtail) cooked to tender perfection and I chose the tender gnocchi which were delicate pillows of potato/flour. This was an additional +$15 added to the meal but so worth it! To finish off the meal, I decided on the pot de creme which had large bits of salt speckled atop the dark chocolate custard. Of all the Bite30 (now $38) options we have this June, you'd be as hard-pressed as a batch of grapes fresh off the "vinia" to find as simple but as charming a dining experience as Vinia over in Winter Park. I was surprised how much I enjoyed my Italian Starters (you pick 2, the eggplant being a solid choice - the artichokes more of an "also ran") and then my "light as air" pappardelle in a barely-there lemon cream sauce and a few prawns. To round it out, the always popular (I'm assuming) pot de creme, which featured a sprinkling of salt to go with such delectable sweet. And, lo and behold, they serve my beloved Sangue di Giuda here - buono! Our server, Teaya, was very friendly and although our meal took a bit longer than expected to come out, I appreciated the presentation and the fact that Vinia was almost fully-packed by the time we left. Let me first say the food was 10 out of 10!! I cleaned every plate I had and truly enjoyed every moment! I also am soooo happy with all the plant based options I had. The pumpkin crème brûlée - I haven't ever got to enjoy crème brûlée and I could have had five of those easily :D We came to celebrate my friend's birthday and the atmosphere of the restaurant and how kind the servers were to make a special moment for her was something we soon won't forget! My feedback would be that this restaurant is a little pricey(which I get for the area it is in but still). But the portion sizes are a little too small. $14 for a 2 1/2 inch empanada and mini side salad that's 3 by 3 inches, $23 for pumpkin and cauliflower in what most restaurants would consider a side dish size, and $8 for a crème brûlée that's maybe an inch deep and 4 inches wide is a little bit steep for what I'm getting. We got misled by a 3rd party source that Vinia has a happy hour menu...Vinia does NOT have happy hour. There was only 1 other party of 2 besides our party of 6 around 6pm on a weeknight and the food took absolutely forever to come out. My original rating was 3 stars considering everyone felt okay about their food and the wait time but I really liked my faux escargot dish. This was a very intimate experience with excellent customer service. I came here recently for my best friends birthday and our server/wine expert was so patient, knowledgeable and kind. They have a really great special where you can get a three course menu with wine for $59. You get to pick the appetizer, entree and desert and each course comes with wine pairing offered with that dish. It was a great experience for everyone to choose their items. The birthday boy is actually vegan and I thought it was amazing that they offer vegan options for every category. They also gave him a complimentary prosecco class as well. For the wine, they have a very excellent selection of wines including sparkling, white, red, rose and some sweet options. I personally really enjoy sweet wine and loved the Sangue Di Guida. For food, I tried some of my friends dishes but I personally just got the Charcuteries and Fromages. The server was correct to say it's a good portion for the price. It also had a lovely presentation. In fact all dishes had a gorgeous presentation. I can't speak for everyone on flavor but I can say that the consensus was everyone enjoyed their dishes but no one was "amazed". I would need to try a full dish myself to make a wholesome reaction. Being Brazilian and appreciating both Brazilian and European cuisine, and also knowing that the owners were Brazilian and that the menu featured Brazilian, Italian, and Spanish dishes (and perhaps others, but these are the ones I remember), I had been eyeing this restaurant for a while and considering trying their Bite30 and Magical Dining menus. I ended up dining here on a regular menu on a random Friday night and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is intimate, and the service is very attentive. For starters, we ordered the Brazilian cheese bread with guava sauce and the flatbread with pesto. Both were delicious, but the portions were quite small for the price. The "Rabo de Toro," braised oxtail, however, was what surprised me the most -- the meat was meltingly tender, and the slightly salty flavor was balanced out by the starchy gnocchi. Last but not least, the wine list is excellent, and if you're not well-versed in wine, ask the server for recommendations -- they'll offer the perfect pairing. Recently went with friends to check out Magical Dining and this Winter Park gem. We went on a Thursday so there was live music but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other. I highly recommend making a reservation as it is a small and quaint little place. Our server helped with a wine recommendation. We started with a charcuterie board which would have been plenty for us. But we also split the Burrata, Brazilian cheese bread (personal fav) and eggplant flan. For mains, we split the cioppino, oxtail gnocchi and pork tenderloin. Everything was cooked to perfection and quite flavorful, not overpowering. I had picked it because my mom is vegan and I'm always on the lookout for a restaurant that is great for vegans and non-vegans. VINIA was amazing. Tried this place on a date night and it graciously delivered! Met the owner, Fabio, and from the moment we sat down, we were welcomed as if we were home - he was so attentive and you could tell the passion he has for this place. Every bite was delicious; we asked for more bread because we couldn't let them take our plate without devouring every pesto cream and oil packed with so much flavor. The moscato and pinot grigio complemented our dinner very nicely. My fave was the vegan "escargot" which had no snails at all - the mushroom, squash, and plantain were just super tasty and just melts in your mouth. The star of the show was the oxtail over greens! We were forced to gourmet dine while balancing on a super high tall stool that was so uncomfortable my back was killing me and I actually had to stand up to eat my dessert as my back was having spasms at the end of the meal. I felt angry that they sat us 60 year olds at such an obviously uncomfortable position I loved the food but I hated my table and especially my stool I'm not overweight either and I do not have any back problems. My sister who is 5'4" had to have her husband lift her onto the high stool like a baby and help Her get off also. I spent the end of dinner really miserable and it ruined my night. This is my first negative review of any establishment I am a very fair reasonable person who hates to complain and forgives most shortcomings. But this situation has me stiff and sore on a Sunday morning having to take a Motrin for the seat they forced me to sit in all night last night. Do better. I also read they have a private room.
