What an amazing place!! The Cork has that old school Ocean City charm and the history to back it up. You can expect great service, a great drink selection, a versatile crowd, and just down right good people. It is a family owned and operated establishment. The family's roots run deep in Ocean City. If you love a great history story as I do, just ask the owner Billy about some of Ocean City's past. He can usually be found right behind the bar serving drinks with a smile! I came to Cork bar this past weekend just looking for a night of fun, but ended up here all weekend and leaving with some new friends! As for the food, the cheeseburger sliders are a must try! Fresh ground beef topped just right. I also tried the wings, chicken tenders, fried mac and cheese, fries, and mozzarella sticks all were very tasty(I told you I was here all weekend.lol). I'm sorry in advance, this is going to be a long one. My husband and I have been coming here ever since we met, every time we come to Ocean City. Sometimes we would even make sure we got a hotel that was close to it because we knew that we would be most of our trip. So, I hate writing this review because I truly love going to the bar. I love the atmosphere, and the food is great, but unfortunately, our last two trips have left a very nasty taste in my mouth, so to speak. We were down for SenFest 2022 and once I got home I realized I had been double charged on my debit card. Charged once for the original amount, and then charged for the original amount plus the tip. And when I call to speak to someone at the bar, all they could tell me was to call my bank. Now I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was during Sunfest and it was crazy busy. Our whole family has always went there and never had an issue, so I just figured it was an honest mistake. Now we just went down on New Year's Eve during the day, when it wasn't busy, was waited on by the same bartender and I honestly didn't think twice about using my debit card. But imagine my surprise when I get home and I check my bank this evening and I have been double charged AGAIN, on a non- busy day by the same bartender two times in a row. Now my account is in a negative standing and I am risking a $35 overdraft fee and I have to deal with my bank to get my money back. I don't believe this is a coincidence and I hate to say that because I really have always loved going there and so does my husband and the rest of our family, but my husband and I are on the fence now whether to even go back there. But I do know if we do, we are only going to use cash. We've always spent good money in there and tipped well. And to be honest, I am really upset because I feel like we have been taken advantage of. read more

Good, big burgers. Ordered the bacon blue burger, which comes loaded with crispy strips of hog and chunky blue cheese dressing. Side of homemade chips, pretty salty but I liked them. One of my friends got the sliders which were actually pretty big! Two others ordered "the heart attack," a specialty burger topped with a whole bunch of stuff that I can't remember. They all enjoyed their meals as well. Only ding is they're a cash-only place, so bring some because otherwise you'll have to use the ATM and you KNOW it's gonna be some small unknown bank's ATM that charges a hefty fee. read more

The Cork Bar has the coldest beers you'll find anywhere, making it a great place to take a break from the boardwalk on a hot day. There's not a whole lot of selection on tap, but you're at the beach and it's cheap and never crowded. It was totally remodeled a couple years ago, and they added a kitchen, but I've never tried the food. There are also pool tables and dart boards. read more

After a not-so-good experience at another establishment on the boardwalk, we walked into Cork and immediately felt the difference in service and atmosphere. It's a pretty descent bar, just a few steps off of the boardwalk in OCMD. It's located by the Ripley's Believe or not attraction. They have a huge square shaped bar, a pool table or 2, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bathrooms were fair as far as cleanliness is concerned. I will return again. read more

I bought a Doug's Bad Ass BLT it was the worst 4 pieces of bacon and 2 slices of tomato I have eaten there for ten years or more. They use to be the best BLT I will try one more time when I go down for Sun Feast. Was not worth $10.00. The young lady in the kitchen had a lot of attitude and bad language. Cork Bar was our first stop on our bar crawl down the boardwalk in OC. It's in a good location and easy to find which was nice. However the waitstaff wasn't all that great. We had one bartender that was average and another who was not good at all. They don't have a huge selection of craft beers but their domestics are okay. The atmosphere is neat with all the dollar bills on the ceiling with messages, definitely a unique touch! The bathrooms were subpar as well. read more

It's a bar. There were 2 bartenders that were pretty awesome and one that was a dork. They have jukebox music so some of the music was awesome and some was awful. They have a decent menu and were able to accommodate us vegans with a veggie sub and veggie wrap. The French fries were especially good. The way you order food was not intuitive. You go to the counter to order and pay and then they bring it to you...after the girl draws a little map as to where you're sitting. I had never been here before but tried it on the suggestion of a friend of a friend. We stopped in mid afternoon so was not bust at. Pretty dull experience honestly. It was super slow but the bartender made no effort to talk to us. Just came over asked what we wanted to drink and gave us the drinks then never said another word till we asked for the tab. While in the middle of a bar crawl in Ocean City, my girlfriend and I stopped in and sat down for a screwdriver. It was only after we ordered that we noticed the "CASH ONLY" signs. Fortunately, there is an ATM in the attached grill part. The drinks were mixed and delivered with expert precision. These guys know their stuff. Nice selection of bar food make coming to the Cork Bar a complete experience. Always a friendly crowd and the bartenders like to crack jokes too. Went to the Cork Bar looking for a late lunch on a rainy and cold March Friday. My husband and I shared a Philly cheesesteak hero, an order of fried pickles and an order of fried mac & cheese bites. Oh and the hero (or sub) came with great homemade kettle chips . Everything was so yummy!! The mac & cheese bites were fantastic! We loved everything. We played an old school bowling game and a round of pool and had a couple of ice cold beers a piece. The bartender was very friendly and we felt very comfortable there.
