A staple of OC that always offers entertainment whether meeting new people, watching the happenings of the bar, or chatting with the bartender. Genuine service at this place with very fair prices. Oh, you gotta participate in the photo booth and hang one of your pics on the wall.

The Harbor Inn is the best time we've had in OC. Chad the bar tender, was the funniest, down to earth bartender. He made the best drinks. I love Rhonda too! All sorts of folks come here to this iconic bar!

This is a great local.dive with some of the best service you will ever get in comparison to some of these other fancy overrated places at the beach. We've not only met nice people here but the staff always offers a very personable experience. It's fun, not pretentious and the prices don't kill ya. Chad and his barmaid are equally cool peeps.

But it is still a solid half pound grilled Pub House burger for $8 plus toppings. I really enjoyed the lettuce wrap, the burger was crispy outside and juicy inside. None of that smashburger crap here, I got a thick patty brimming with flavor and still pink in the middle. Rippled cut potato chips sprinkled with old bay are the side. I couldn't stop eating them. Husband ordered a burger with a nice fluffy toasted bun, pepperjack cheese and fries, included lettuce, tomato and pickles. Solid. Medium rare by request also perfect. What more could you want? Oh, a $6 orange crush if you wait till 3 when happy hour starts. Trust me if this place were near my Phoenix home I would be a regular patron. Bet it gets rowdy with live bands and beach crowds, but at 3 pm, it's a quiet neighborhood pub. Try it!!

It has a thicker slightly sweet batter, the batter stayed on and the pickles were crispy. The pickle shot had a sting to it, but it was not the worst! For thursday night, we had 3 dollar domestic beers which was a great deal! Pickles, service and beer deal is the only reason i'd give 2 stars. Downside is the bathroom, i've never seen a dive bar bathroom this bad. It is disgusting with fecal matter smeared around the wall, lack of toilet paper, dirty floors and just a lack of overall cleanliness. Not sure if it was just when we went, i'd hope they'll fix the woman's stalls.

Later, there was a 90s band in addition to the DJ. The band area was empty even though the musicians were good but I guess the youngsters prefer the DJ. Also, in the afternoon they had free popcorn near one of the bars which was a big plus! Although we didn't have diner, we noticed the dining area was really nice and luxurious. Also, there's plenty of parking. If you don't find parking in the parking lot right in front of the restaurant, there's another one nearby connected by a small bridge.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Fager's Island!!…read more I rarely leave a negative review, but our experience at Fager's Island in Ocean City, Maryland, was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. We had made a reservation specifically to dine in the fine-dining section upstairs. My wife arrived before me because I had to park the car, and she was already seated upstairs when I entered the restaurant. When I went upstairs to find my wife, I was immediately confronted by an older woman who I believe was associated with the ownership or management. Instead of politely asking if she could help me, she rudely said, "What are you doing here?" I explained that my wife was already upstairs and that we had a reservation. She repeatedly ordered me to go downstairs and speak with the front desk before coming upstairs. I did exactly that, only to be told by the front desk that we had been seated on the lower level, despite my reservation being for the fine-dining section upstairs. When I explained this, my concern was essentially dismissed. Unfortunately, the poor treatment continued at the table. Our waitress took approximately 15 minutes just to come over and ask if we wanted something to drink. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, and when it arrived, we proceeded to order our food. While waiting, I turned one of the chairs slightly so my wife could sit comfortably while I took a picture of her with the beautiful water view behind her. The waitress rudely told me, "You can't turn the chair and take my chair." The attitude was completely unnecessary and made us feel uncomfortable as customers. Then came the food. I ordered my steak medium, It arrived well done. Given my experience as a restaurant owner, the steak appeared to me as though it may have been prepared ahead of time and reheated. My wife ordered the fish, which was described to us as fresh caught. Unfortunately, her fish was also overcooked. We did not make a scene. We politely explained the problem to our waitress and asked that both meals be corrected so we could enjoy our dinner together. Instead of simply correcting the problem, the waitress returned with my steak cut open in the middle and told me that the chef said it was cooked perfectly. It wasn't. I explained again that I had ordered it medium to medium-well and that it was well done. I politely asked them to remake it. I also asked that my wife's fish be remade so we could eat together. My steak came back first, but then my wife had to wait another approximately 10 minutes for her fish. At this point, what should have been a nice dinner had become an extremely frustrating experience. Mistakes happen in restaurants. That's not the issue. A steak can be overcooked. Fish can be overcooked. Orders can occasionally take longer than expected. What matters is how a restaurant treats its customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, we experienced rudeness, dismissive behavior, poor communication, disappointing service, and food that was not prepared as ordered. I came to Fager's Island expecting an enjoyable fine-dining experience and instead left extremely disappointed. For the prices they charge and the reputation they have, I expected much better. I would not recommend Fager's Island based on our experience. There are plenty of restaurants in Ocean City where customers can spend their money and be treated with courtesy and respect. Fager's Island: beautiful location, but our experience with the service, attitude, and food was simply not acceptable.

Drinks and food are moderately priced. Ocean city has many other nice bars but Seacrets is always my favorite! I normally stay at the Princess Bayside hotel nearby which is just a 5 minute walk. Then someone directed us toward the back, where we discovered a huge outdoor restaurant. What a fun, totally hidden place! The floor is sand, the tables and decor are colorful, there are trinkets hanging everywhere and there's even a shipwreck themed play area in the back where kids can explore while waiting for their food. It has a laid-back beach vibe that's hard not to enjoy. Then there's the view. You're right on the bay, watching boats, birds, and people fishing. Oddly enough, seagulls really weren't a problem. The only one I saw patiently waited for a table to leave, then elegantly hopped into the sand, walked underneath the table, and grabbed a lone French fry. Smart bird. Service was attentive, the food was good, and the drinks were okay. I've had better cocktails elsewhere in Ocean City, but my mojito was refreshing. One thing that did annoy me was the cocktail menu. There were no prices listed anywhere. I asked our waitress up front, and she said most cocktails were around $10-$12, which is reasonable these days. So... why hide the prices? I know restaurants often leave prices off online menus because they want you to come in. But once I'm sitting at the table with a menu in my hand, just tell me what everything costs. One standout entree was the fried shrimp basket. Those shrimp had a delicious seasoning that really made the dish. The fish and chips was another winner...classic, tasty and well executed. The steamed clams were fresh, but on the small side. There wasn't any broth, butter, or sauce either...just a dozen small steamed clams. The crab cake sandwich was tasty, although we've had better ones elsewhere in Ocean City for about the same price. Overall, Fish Tales is a very fun place for lunch or dinner. It's about as casual as it gets. Plastic chairs, your feet in the sand, boats cruising along, kids playing on a shipwreck, and a great view of the bay.
