We came here for an extended weekend vacation, started off eating all the famous places (thrashers, dough rollers, etc) and decided to not go far for our last night here so ate at our hotels restaurant. This was my favorite food so far. Kids got a cheese pizza and in my opinion was better than dough rollers, wife got the cheesesteak and it was fantastic, and I got a bacon cheeseburger that was amazing. We stayed at the hotel attached to Barracuda's Bar and Grill. This ended up being a very nice and rather convenient coincidence. The restaurant does not have an area to eat exactly, except the stools at the bar, and the tables around the pool. So if you are looking for a restaurant where you can sit down and eat, it is first come first served. We only ordered carry out, and we were not disappointed. Over the course of our stay at the hotel, we ordered the cheesesteak sub, Italian sub, fish tacos, and the BLT. All of the sandwiches were stacked with the appropriate meats, as well as the fish tacos, and the French fries were crispy and fantastic. The bartenders at the Barracuda restaurant were extremely friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant/bar to anyone staying in Ocean City, Maryland. read more

The best hidden gem in Ocean City, Maryland! A couple years back my husband and I discovered Barracuda Bar & Grill after meeting one of their bartenders while they were at one of their other jobs. He invited us to come check them out and we took him up on the offer. We are so glad we did! Since then we make it a point to visit Barracuda several times during each visit to Ocean City. They are conveniently located pool side at the Crystal Beach Hotel on 25th Street on the boardwalk. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are friendly, attentive and just great at what they do. During this trip we had Bobby and Marben as bartenders. The owners are always on site which you might think is weird or stressful to the employees. Not at all. They are super personable and love to interact with the customers which make the whole experience that much better. They are from New York and let me tell you...they will whip you up the best pizza in Ocean City. While we did devour a couple pizzas during this vacation I must say that their whole menu is great too. Throughout the week we had onion rings, coconut shrimp and a few cannolis. The coconut shrimp were excellent and the sauce they are served with was delicious. I struggle to find places where I like the shrimp AND the sauce it comes with but here was a perfect combination. Although many people might not know, Barracuda serves breakfast as well. A small simple menu with delicious flavor and reasonable prices. The Barracuda breakfast wrap was filled to the brim with meat, eggs and potatoes. Initially, my husband thought he would have to order a second item to fill him up but the wrap accomplished the mission on its own. It happened to be my husband's birthday on the last night we were in. When he went to use the restroom I gave the bartender a lighter and a couple candles and asked them to throw it in a cannoli for me. Well they exceeded our expectations and had the whole staff come out and sing. We even had a celebratory shot. The staff truly goes above and beyond. There is no direct entry into this bar but it is super easy to get to as the entrance is right off the hotel lobby. The bar is always super clean and the bathrooms are right around the corner. I honestly cannot say enough great things about the Barracuda and hope that you will check them out if ever in the area. See you guys in July! read more

We stayed at Crystal Beach Hotel and decided to give their restaurant a try. We had a group of 16 and due to the rain they were able to seat us in the indoor dining room. Our group was the only one and we were glad as our young kids in the group were a bit noisy. We ordered pizza, subs, fries and wraps.
