I didn't even know there was a Corky's in Pomona until my brother mentioned it--I've only been to the Rancho location before. We decided to come here on Easter, and surprisingly, it wasn't busy at all. Our waiter was very kind and even offered to take a picture for us, which was a really nice touch. The breakfast portions were very hearty. I ordered the Hobo skillet and honestly couldn't finish it--it was a lot of food. I was also given biscuits and gravy, but unfortunately, the gravy was cold, which was disappointing. My hubby felt the same way. My daughter ordered the stuffed French toast and seemed to really enjoy it. Overall, a mixed experience--great service and generous portions, but the cold gravy was a letdown. read more

We arrived and we were sat down promptly. We asked for coffee and it arrived promptly, only to be given to us without asking if we needed creamer. We waited a few minutes and asked for the creamer. We then realize we didn't have silverware, so we asked for that and waited - again. We placed our order and we received our food, except I got a different flavor of pancakes and not the ones I ordered. Why would the server even bring out the wrong pancakes to me and tell me they made the wrong one, but it's good. Based on how long things were taking I opted to just keep them. My friend's food came 5 minutes after. She asked for salsa and that took 10 minutes to arrive because 2 servers forgot. Then we needed napkins, we had to ask for those. We had to ask for everything multiple times and that is worse than getting the wrong flavored pancakes. I hope to never come here again. The service is subpar. I want to eat comfortably, not have to ask and wait for utensils, napkins, coffee refills, or salsa. read more

But we have the greatest waitress she's so attentive and sweet and nice. The menu here has changed a lot since the last I've been here They have all kinds of Benedict eggs available. First time at Corky's for breakfast around 10:45am on a Sunday. Place was busy but was seated immediately. Plenty of seating. Greeted by Roman. Took our drink order and got back to us quickly. Our food order came out right away. I had Sr breakfast, hubby had French toast breakfast. I'd rate the overall breakfast about 7, not spectacular but it wasn't bad. Coffee tasted freshly brewed. I enjoyed Romans quick and efficient service checking in on us, not overboard. I think that made the overall experience very good. The restaurant was spacious, very clean and homey. Really crowded and centrally located. Large menu And ample food options. Bar seats, indoor and outdoor seating. Pretty decent prices also. We ate at the bar and were served within 5 mins. Okay, this may be an unpopular opinion, but Corky's should be your neighborhood diner. The set up is a lot like Denny's which gives like low brow vibes, but the food and service is top tier. The decor is cute, kitschy and possibly sourced from a local Marshalls. I liked Corky's so much, I came back to eat breakfast twice in one week. The first time I came, I abandoned any health parameters and ordered the richest breakfast item. The hand breaded chicken fried steak and eggs ($18.99) is completely decadent and nap inducing. They give you a big ole piece of chicken fried steak smothered with gravy, 3 eggs, and a side of hash browns. The hash browns are buttery with the perfect amount crisp on the outside. Delish. I also tried the hot links and eggs ($18.79). It comes with 3 eggs, hash browns, and your choice of toast (biscuits and gravy for me!). I liked subbing out the usual breakfast protein for hot links. They were spicy, salty, and exactly what I wanted with my buttery eggs. Breakfast portions are hefty and reasonably priced. Corky's also serves dinner. I will absolutely be back to try their 2 for $30 dinner special. You share one appetizer and choose 2 entrees. What a steal. Don't sleep on Corky's. read more

I came here on a Monday for breakfast with my parents. They ordered the orange cranberry muffin. The Baker items are made fresh daily. I would definitely recommend getting one. I ordered a steak and eggs with biscuit and gravy. Everything was good. Nothing stood out to me, but it was decent. I ordered a hot chocolate and I could not believe how big it was! We came here last weekend for breakfast and it's was okay. The quality of service and food has gone WAY downhill. The previous visit we felt we were not as important as the regulars, we were pretty much ignored the entire time. The muffin my husband got was undercooked and I absolutely would have brought it to the attention of our server but again we were ignored. Came here this morning, and same thing. Pretty much ignored, there were four of us and three of us got our food and it took another 5 minutes or so to get the last individual's food which let me tell you was pathetic. It was an order of hand breaded chicken tenders and fries, and these were not breaded. It looked like they literally took chicken tenders and threw them into the fryer. Needless to say it was not what we were looking for. I myself would not have had an issue with it because I do like the naked chicken tenders from raising Cane's, but if that's not what you're expecting and that's what you're served it's disappointing. The eggs benedict my husband ordered, I'm not sure how they did this but one of the poached eggs was completely missing its yolk, it was on the plate it just wasn't in the egg itself... I'm still confused on how they pulled that one off lol. All in all the services just gone really downhill and the food has as well. They serve you hard biscuits slapped with gravy so customers aren't able to tell how old they are. I usually have it, but this visit is even older than other days. I went and asked for it to be replaced. The waitress having a surprised look on her face saying it looks old? I said and it taste old. The picture below shows how easily it crumbled on my plate. One half came crumbled already and the other half was whole. I started using my fork to see what was wrong with it. Dry old and stale. I don't want a response. Found this place online, thought we would try it out. Located in a nice strip mall with ample parking, wheelchair accessible. We ordered the avocado eggs, Benedict and absolutely not disappointed! The hashbrowns were nice and crispy on top and had delicious potato flavor. This may sound silly, but the eggs were cooked to absolute perfection! Fresh arugula, radishes, baby tomatoes, and just the right amount of sauce and pesto. I truly have never had a better eggs Benedict. The restaurant/eating area is clean, spacious and bright. Wasroom Washroom was so clean. Our server, was friendly and efficient and had a sense of humor. A nice touch. Definitely giving this place two thumbs up. Well to start out, we came in on a weekend day at late breakfast time, again. It was busy, but the hostess worked diligently to get us seated very quickly. Service was great again (thanks Elizabeth!). They seem to be consistent with their great service all around. I ordered the same thing from the week prior. It came out great! Everything was perfect except for those darn home fries haha , though they were better than last time. Wife has hash browns. They were awesome. I'll just get those from now on and this will be a go to breakfast spot. They even held onto my daughters favorite doll she left behind.
