I have been eating at the local Mexican restaurants in Pomona for over 30 years. This is a cozy, fun place to eat. If you are looking for "fast food" this is not the place. It's a fun place to chill and enjoy your food. The staff are wonderful and amazing. I can say that this is my "place that makes me feel like family". They know your name and even your orders if you are like me and order pretty much the same thing. I went here for an event with a set menu. It's not the best place for a large group because you have to be split between tables. We also waited quite a long time to order and get our food. On my most recent visit here, I had the Fajitas Suprema - chicken, shrimp, and steak fajitas. The chicken, shrimp, and steak were great. Rice and beans were okay. The meal came with soup or salad. I chose the soup - albondigas specifically. The soup was okay as well. The complimentary chips and salsa, however, are really good. Service here is friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The restaurant inside has a combination of booths and tables. You pay at the register up front once you are done. Finally tried this place after seeing recomdations on Pomona reddit and in person in the Pomona Valley hospital ER! (She said the potato tacos are bomb). This is a great little place with cosy booths and warm service. Complimentary chips and salsa too. My mom ordered the daily special which was a good deal and perfect amount of food. It was enchilada and beef empanada with rice and beans. I got a taco trio. One dish came with refried beans and the other with some kind of rancho beans in sauce. The food was very fresh homemade and delicious. Clean taste. Mom got the mango 'margarita' which is made with agave wine not tequila and it was surprisingly good. My husband and I have been coming here for sometime now. They have the best fajitas. We usually get the combo that comes with steak, chicken and shrimp and we always clean the whole plate. It also comes with rice and beans. I also love their carne asada burrito. It's delicious and very filling. Service is always great. Staff are friendly and fast we always get awesome service. They have sports on TV so we also enjoy watching some sports while dining since my family likes baseball and some other sports. Price is also reasonable. Stopped in to try one of their burritos, ordered the chili relleno burrito. The place was a bit hard to find as the front door faces the parking lot on the side. Once in, very nice atmosphere and clean. Burrito tasted great , the only reason no 5 star as they left the stem on the chili, I assume by mistake. Been here a Million times and every time the food is Perfect, the Customer service is Always Spot on if they have 4 servers working all 4 will always check up on you to make sure everything is fine or if you need a refill . First of all, I wanna say that I've been to this restaurant a few times and the food was great. However, today I have to say I was very disappointed. I ordered the chicken in sauce and it tasted like the chicken was two weeks old very tough old tasting flavor. They forgot my corn tortillas and an extra order of red salsa. I didn't get napkins or any cutlery when I called to let them know that they missed my corn tortillas. They asked me if I can go pick them up. Now keep in mind. I ordered this to be delivered for a reason I said no I didn't want to go pick them up, but then later on I realize that my chips and also were missing. I got two flans to go and was disappointed. One tasted like it was from frozen, it had a freezer burn taste. It took awhile to get them as well after placing order. The other was nothing special. They were small and thin as well for the price. Costco's flan is way better. read more

I'm a fifth generation California raised in the Coachella Valley so yes, I love and know my Mexican food. I embrace the culture, the people and the food! I've learned a lot from friends about different states and the types of foods from each different Mexican State. This being said a good friend of mine has been eating here for thirty years and had brought me to this place many times. Because of Covid I stopped going when in town. Recently I stopped by and YES!! THEY ARE STILL OPEN!! I went in today to get a chicken tostada fully loaded. Carlos was so nice to me and took my order. They have no mask , no service policy and I like that they are clean and safe. I ordered and waited outside. When I got home I ate it and man was that tostada soooo good. The food there makes me feel happy and it reminds me of places in Palm Springs and Cathedral City that I grew up and still eat at. The salsa was nice and fresh; and had a good little kick like I remember. The chips are so yummy and fresh also. The tostada was loaded and had sour cream and made me sleepy after my bike ride and special Mexican food treat. So stop by Mexico Lindo and order some food to go. We need to support out local businesses and they STILL have a lunch special with drink to go after all these years. We used to come here as kids, food was always amazing back then. I remember how much my Mom & Dad talked about their food. We ate at the restaurant once a week for a treat. When you walked inside you could see the food in the windows. They had some really good cooked potatoes with onions and sauce, not sure if they still have them. We decided have some food delivered (due to COVID19). It was delicious! Had the Fried Tilapia, with Albondigas soup. So delicious!
