    Caldo de Albóndigas (Meatball Soup)
    Alicia N.

I've been here a few times, mainly for work-related reasons. The menu is extensive. The food here is solid. On my most recent visit here, I had the Fajitas Suprema - chicken, shrimp, and steak fajitas. The chicken, shrimp, and steak were great. Rice and beans were okay. The meal came with soup or salad. I chose the soup - albondigas specifically. The soup was okay as well. The complimentary chips and salsa, however, are really good. Service here is friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The restaurant inside has a combination of booths and tables. You pay at the register up front once you are done. There is a small, wraparound parking lot that fills up quickly when there are large parties.

I was craving a shrimp cocktail. I thought shrimp cocktails have cucumber? Luckily I had cilantro and onions left over from last night. Im not gonna lie. Has great amount of shrimp but I like the veggies too. Tomatoes, onion, cucumber, cilantro with lime. Then the crackers, ketchup, more lime and lots of tapatio =) Good service , even for to go.

    Combo fajita. The best.

My husband and I have been coming here for sometime now. They have the best fajitas. We usually get the combo that comes with steak, chicken and shrimp and we always clean the whole plate. It also comes with rice and beans. I also love their carne asada burrito. It's delicious and very filling. Service is always great. Staff are friendly and fast we always get awesome service. They have sports on TV so we also enjoy watching some sports while dining since my family likes baseball and some other sports. Price is also reasonable. Their complimentary chips and salsa are also fantastic! I highly recommend this place.

I was craving a home-cooked meal, it was my first time there. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green salsa and a jamaica. It was delicious. Everybody was friendly, the service is great. It's clean and they have A/C

My amazing sister sent us 3 soups from this restaurant: chicken soup, caldo de albondigas and caldo de res and they were all horrible. Can't believe with three options none were edible. Caldo de pollo and albondigas had so much oregano that you couldn't drink/eat the soup.

delicious food, fair prices, and a beautiful sign denying ICE entry. i ordered the fajitas suprema, and they were authentically magical. the dish came with a soup or salad, and i ordered the soup, which was a mini albondiga soup. i just wish there were a little more albdondigas in my soup, but the bowl was really small. will definitely be coming back!

Been here a Million times and every time the food is Perfect, the Customer service is Always Spot on if they have 4 servers working all 4 will always check up on you to make sure everything is fine or if you need a refill . Place is always clean . This place is a hidden goldmine. Don't forget to order the Flan that has to be made with pure cause it's so delicious.

Pollo en salsa that's probably 1-2 weeks old :(

First of all, I wanna say that I've been to this restaurant a few times and the food was great. However, today I have to say I was very disappointed. I ordered the chicken in sauce and it tasted like the chicken was two weeks old very tough old tasting flavor. They forgot my corn tortillas and an extra order of red salsa. I didn't get napkins or any cutlery when I called to let them know that they missed my corn tortillas. They asked me if I can go pick them up. Now keep in mind. I ordered this to be delivered for a reason I said no I didn't want to go pick them up, but then later on I realize that my chips and also were missing. I understand that there's bad days for restaurants, but this one was completely off the charts. I don't know if I'll ever go back if you wanna take your chance go ahead.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food , their agua frescas are truly fresh made 'at house' , have been coming here for years! Amazing cooks and great workers , this place deserves more recognition

    Best shrimp cocktail in town.

"Mexico Lindo delivers! The shrimp cocktail was fresh and flavorful, while the chicken and beef flautas were crispy and bursting with savory goodness. Truly an unforgettable start!"

Lengua mole, mm chef's kiss! Haven't seen a similar dish anywhere else but it was delicious. Their Jamaica drink is refreshing and huge (beer mug size). And of course complimentary chips & salsa!

Taco, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. Piping hot food, ice cold mexican coke.....enough said.

There isn't a parking meter anymore, so I'm not sure what the city guidelines are for payment, but your first two hours parking there are free! When walking towards the cafe, you will see a sign for a pub. You can walk inside and turn towards the right. The cafe and baristas are located towards the very back! Yet, once you go inside, you notice all the seating that is available. We have asked towards the baristas, and used a little tablet to scan their menu. We ended up ordering a tonic and a banana cold brew. They also had food items! We had chosen their breakfast burrito. Their coffee is strong and you can feel the caffeine. Yet, the sweetness is perfect and can mask your actual caffeine intake! It's amazing how they can do both. Their burrito was very savory and delicious as well. It's always quick and clean at this cafe. The baristas are always sweet. My fiancé and I do come here to do work, and their WiFi is decent, too. I highly recommend this cafe if you're ever in the area!

We split an order of seasoned fries and an icy cold Pepsi. Price was fair and customer service was super homely. Wait time for our food was minimal and they even walked our lunch baskets to us. My wife really enjoyed her western-style "Treasure" burger and I essentially inhaled my double cheeseburger. They were both cooked perfectly, without rush, and very neatky assembled, as if the cooks were prepping it for themselves or for royalty. Definitely recommend this spot and will return. Back to the meal! Eager to quell the obnoxious hunger growls emanating from my stomach, I opted for this small but hopping diner's moneymaker- The Las Vegas Burger Combo. The LV Burger comes w/ lettuce, tomato, onion rings, bacon, mayo and jalapeños- I hungrily devoured it all, save for the peppers I had them withdraw. The fries are of medium thickness- Think of that middle ground between McDonald's cigarette-width fries and the (frankly, fat) steak fries that Red Robin serves. They come perfectly sprinkled w/ seasoning salt, fried to a decadent golden crisp. Pros- Kudos to the young man and woman behind the counter, both of whom visibly cleaning table tops and sweeping floors during (rare) pauses in the more or less steady drum beat of Pomonans who drop in for a meal. LV Burgers serves a battalion of "aguas frescas" to quaff even the fiercest of thirsts- Flavors incl cucumber & lime, strawberry, blueberry, horchata and a roving flavor of the day- Just ask! My sole gripe? The sinking "nickel + dimed" sensation that struck when the staff insisted on collecting an additional $0.87 for a refill of my medium Diet Pepsi. When you're charging $3.49 for a medium (16 ounces) soda that costs the proprietor, oh, around thirty cents- Don't make your dine-in customers feel insulted by charging 'em for (one) refill. In sum, this small restaurant does a lot very well. It may be named for "Sin City" and located in a decidedly working class neighborhood but it punches far above its weight! A fantastic meal at a fair price. Your favorite correspondent spent $17.83, incl tax and a small tip.

So here's my good and not so good. Good: the service here is amazing, friendly attentive and I watched every dine in customer receive extraordinary care. The portion sizes are huge and the whole restaurant felt like you were in someone's own kitchen on a weekend morning with all of the right smells in the air for a great brunch. Here's the not so good: it took 4 minutes shy of an hour to get lunch for 2 (2 order of chicken tenders, side of red beans and rice and an order of hush puppies ) prepared. Although the booths were full, most of the tables had their food, so it didn't appear to be a lot of tickets stacked up. When my order was finally delivered, and I took the10 minute drive back home, I opened the bag to fund 3 brown paper bags, wet, soggy and soaking in grease. Because the food hadn't been allowed to cool a bit and it was placed in a plastic bag with no way to vent out steam, every item was soggy and falling apart. The fries were wet and soggy, the chicken had all of the dry coat falling off and most the seasoning was pulled off of the batter that was left because of the water and steam. Additionally, the red beans and rice were so wet, they were almost soup. One of the orders had potato salad as a side, but to received overcooked soggy fries instead. The hush puppies were way over cooked, they had passed the golden brown cook level and were a black brown color and were sort of flavorless and really soggy from the heat of the plastic bag. I'm sure that most of this could have been avoided if I hadn't placed a to go order. But I'm leaving this review so that when you order from this little gem, you consider dining in or asking for the foot with plenty of lead time so that they don't rush, improperly pack the food for transit (let it cool off a bit) and have the time to make sure the order is correct, and cooked to a standard that best represents the business. Pomona needs Day-Days as a locally owned, black owned soul food restaurant. Switching from plastic to paper bags and giving the food time to vent will go a long way with quality for the customer. In the end the food tasked good, I'm sure was prepared with love, but fell flat on the delivery. All of that said, patronize this restaurant!!!!

Yes, I like diner flapjacks and I like places that serve fruity pancakes, but it's nothing compared to how I overjoyed I get when a place has all the syrups and are willing to share them with you. The other parts of the breakfast were good too. The eggs were super runny and sunny, just like they were supposed to be. The breakfast links were good, if not skinny, but they give you four so I'm all good with that. And the hash browns were okay, but it's very hard to eff up those to any degree. And the coffee refills came in hot and came in often. I got to the five benchmark in less than an hour. That's all you want from your server. And this server anticipated me every time as if he were some kind of coffee Oracle. The place was kind of dim and old, but I kind of dug it because it gave away a hangout vibe, like I was a regular as soon as I walked in the door. I even talked MLS/La Liga/Premier League with the server like we were old friends. But the best part was the superb access to those berry syrups. That's the key to any success flapjack joint.

The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated. Overall, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a good, local neighborhood spot. It offers affordable choice that are prepared "good enough." I wouldn't drive a long distance for this spot, but it's a decent option if you're already nearby. 4.5 out of 5
