Ordered 2 Corn Beef on Rye, Mustard, Pickle spear, (1) Rye as very good but cut too thick (2) Mustard devoid of any - could not taste (3) Corn Beef was a 'processed meat product' similar to Buddig pre-sliced meats - it was dry, tasteless - not all flavorful or moist (4) Pickle was not a spear which would have been the pickle sliced into 4 spears - ours was a this slice about the shape, size and diameter of a pencil (5) cost per sandwich $13.75 (6) the corn beef did not at ALL resembled the photo shown on the internet when you enter corn beef factory in your Browser. In short it was AWFUL...threw both away after two bites ! Very good sandwiches and the homemade chips are the best. Usually enough food for two meals.

The hubby stopped after a quick visit to the DMV and brought a couple sammies home for us to try. He said the restaurant was clean and the service was great. He grabbed a pastrami and a corned beef. I LOVE corned beef and judge most restaurants by their Reuben (if they have one on the menu). Both sandwiches were delicious! The chips, unfortunately, didn't travel well but I tossed them in the air fryer and they were just fine. We will definitely return to try more sandwiches! read more

I was actually pretty disappointed in the fact that this is a video gaming location with a corned beef counter inside. After a 30 minute ride to get here we found out at 7 o'clock, They no longer for the rest of the night. When the time said on the website, 1 AM close, I thought they'd be serving food until then since I've never been here before. It was my surprise to find out that the video gaming is open until 1 AM but no food is served. It looks pretty clean in the place, but that's about where my positive comments can end. Two stars because I've read other reviews that sounded like it's supposed to have pretty good food, but I can't go any higher than that since everything else about the place seemed relatively disappointing, including the counter help who was no help at all in letting me know that food wasn't available until I questioned her about it. Nice seeing a new sandwich shop in town. They have a very limited menu, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Ruebens, Italian Beef, Turkey and Pastrami sandwiches. I've eaten here twice, First time was the first week they opened in July and my second time was just this week, both times I ordered the Reuben Sandwich. There was a bit of inconsistency between the two visits, my first visit the sandwich was better. It did appear they were traingn a new employee on my most recent visit so that may expain the slight inconsistency The sandwich on my second visit had a bit to much thousand island dressing and the bread was over grilled/toasted but still pretty tasty. read more

Today I tried The Corned Beef Factory in Woodstock Illinois passing up Tommy's Hotdogs. It's next to the DVM so there's plenty of parking on a Saturday. Let me tell you about the food! As I said I grew up where corned beef was a staple so I was prepared for something not quite as good. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by how great my sandwich was! Piled high on rye with mustard (you can choose spicy or regular) Swiss cheese and a dill pickle on the side. It also came with delicious chips. Soft fountain drinks are available as well as beer. I had to take half of my sandwich to go because I was so full after one half! The space itself is huge with several tables and one outside. There's also a gaming room for fun. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something besides a hotdog or burger! read more
