We have ordered from this restaurant for years and used to really enjoy the food, but unfortunately the last two experiences have been very disappointing. Both times our order was incorrect, and instead of trying to fix the issue, the staff had a nasty attitude and was very rude. We were not offered a proper resolution, and when we asked to speak to the owner, we were refused. At this point, the lack of customer service, repeated mistakes, and disrespectful behavior have made it clear that the quality and care are no longer there. Billy's doesn't disappoint! Their beef, gyros, wrappers and hot dogs are always fresh, hot, tasty and ready when promised. They drop any fried appetizers upon pick up, guaranteeing your carry out appetizers, that are generous portions, will still be served more than warm after your 15 minute ride home. Food and appetizer portions and add ons like cheese, sauce and peppers were generously adequate. Lettuce was very fresh, very green, crisp with NO questionable pieces. Service has always been above par. If you dine in, it's family friendly and the floors, tables and restrooms are clean. Reasonably priced, good quality, fast food. My late dinner was good. Nothing blew me away and I was disappointed they only offered 1/3lb Patty's . The double cheeseburger was good and I had everything on it. It. Ordered two dogs, fries, Italian Sausage w/sweet peppers, and chicken nuggets, and three drinks. $38! For that price I should not have gotten a dry sausage sandwhich with semi cooked sweet peppers. There should have been some moisture to the sandwhich. Hell, dip the sausage in some juice before placing it on the bun. Peppers should be sauteed and limp. That was no where near an Italian sausage. Billy's is your typical dog and beef joint. There is nothing here that makes you feel like you just have to come back for that one item because nobody else makes it better. I have had several items on the menu over the years. You ask after my first comment why do I still come here? It's the closest place to my house, and the food is ok but nothing special. It satisfies when you need a quick meal. Tonight, I had a Gyro with extra meat and tzatziki sauce. The meat was fine. It is definitely not the top grade Gyro meat. It just doesn't have the heavy taste of the Greek seasonings like it should, but it's tolerable. The meat was cooked fine and cut from the spit when ordered. The pita on the other hand was rolled in the oil but wasn't grilled at all. It was just a cold piece of dough holding the meat. I got the combo meal that included crinkle cut fries and a drink. I also got a Pizza Puff. As for pricing, I got two of the Gyro combos and two Pizza Puffs and the bill came to just under $30. A little expensive for a couple to go out and grab a little comfort food. Again, Billy's is ok if you're driving by and want something quick, but it's not a place I would travel for. read more

Four of us came for gyros and fries and drinks. Food was served fast but that was about it. Gyro meat was very dry, like a piece of jerky. Pita was old tasting and tough. The tomato was cold and fresh but whole slices on a gyro? Fries were dry as well, not what I expected. Fountain Pepsi was really watered down. If you like the dried out overcooked Gyro meat from the outside of the spit, you might love their Gyros. They give you alot of meat...but it is always dried out. Beware of going to Billy's these days. Dirty restaurant. Food has gone way down hill. It's either burnt, soggy with grease, old, or just wrong. I've tried several times thinking maybe it was a fluke. I'm guessing it's not. If there was a less than 1 star I would have given it. I've tried different items; beefs (dry, lacking actual beef, hard bread) gyro (sopping in grease with hard over cooked slivers of meat) husband got a hot dog meal the meat looked like it was days old on a solid hard bun. A classic spot to eat in Spring Grove. I've been eating here since I was just a boy. The environment has a very burger-type-vibe that I can't really explain. If you've ever been to a place like Billy's you would know what I'm talking about. The menu is on a gigantic banner on the wall with tons beef-oriented meals along with shrimp and such. Service while paying is always pleasant and the workers there are always polite. On the other hand when it gets busy, orders can really get backed up and you may have to wait a while before you can get your food and get out. My only complaint is how slow it is sometimes and also the parking lot is really tight so don't bring the biggest family truck if you're coming here. If you're a meat loving person like me, Billy's is definitely a great choice to satisfy your carnivorous needs. read more

We catered from Billy's for my daughters wedding party. From beginning to end this was a great experience. Tammy walked me through the ordering and even suggested I order less to avoid having too many leftovers. She was right. The day of the event they came and set it up for us and everything not only looked but tasted DELICIOUS. Their grilled chicken is so juicy and tasty. I don't know what they use to marinade their chicken but it is just so good. The pulled pork, everyone raved about that as well. Everything else that came with it was equally yummy. Wow... first off very over priced food for sub par quality. Food took over 25 minutes for only 2 people, and when we grabbed it from the counter we ate a fry instantly. Room temperature to say the least. Very stale hot dog buns and overall not pleased with the place. Haven't been there in 4 years and don't plan on going back for at least another 4. I had the gyro, which came as about 8 pounds of pretty good gyro meat, shaved from the cone as required, on a nice pita with tomatoes and a nice helping of tsatziki on the side, so I could dress to my preference. I had to whittle down the meat before I could even fold the pita. My special came with fries, and they were piping hot, golden brown, and well salted, which is nice for a change. Price was a bit more than I usually spend for lunch, but it was a TON of food, so I have no problem with it - I finished it like a pig and then didn't need dinner later. read more
