We ordered take-out on a Sunday night... the place was packed! The food was great, but the wait time was exceptionally long (an-hour for a carry out meal). I ordered chicken noodle soup with hand pulled noods (YUM!!) and my partner got a general tso chicken, extra spicy (which didn't have much heat but was good). Their carry-out order bags are reusable and made well. We had a short drive, but the food stayed hot and we were able to enjoy it from the comfort of our home. The noodle bowl was really good! at first I thought it would come in a big pot cause that is a common this for these types of pots. But they were able to squeeze all the items into a small bowl. This place 10/10 recommend! I get the mala stir fry at least twice a week. Usually to go. Im addicted. lol. A great vegan dish. Our waitress was really attentive and made sure we were okay during dining. I had a couple of questions to make sure my food would be vegan, and she went to the kitchen to ask. The food didn't take long to come out. I also like that you can see the hand pulled noodles and dumplings being made through the glass from the dining area. The restaurant has a good cozy feel. I knew it would be magical when we walked up at 5:30pm and there was a half hour wait. So we grabbed boba teas and waited. We didn't get a table where we could watch them make noodles but peeked when we walked by. Mad skills. We ordered an appetizer, sticky rice chicken siu mai. They were a little weird but good. We had both kinds of noddles: hand-pulled and hand-shaved. Both were good but I think I liked the hand-pulled better. We also got the Sichuan spicy fish filet which was one of the best things I've eaten in a while. My middle kiddo also picked ham fried rice which was delish. I would order all of it again! I placed an order online for my family and I, and afterward, it said the order would be ready in 50 minutes. I had other errands to run, so I made out to do so and received a text stating my order was ready, and this was 20 minutes after I placed the order, so I was pleasantly surprised. When I arrived, it was crowded by the hostess stand and crowded near the kiosk where I think you can place to-go orders. I didn't see the pick-up shelf as a result so I went up to the counter and the gentleman asked how could he help me and then showed me to the pick-up shelf where the hostess took over and took my name and found my bag. Those bags are the coolest things ever because I had a very large order and 2 entrees had to go to another location: -2 orange chicken (please note the chili pepper warning in description) -2 orders of crab rangoon (10 pieces total and delicious) -1 beef and potato stew (wrapped in a bag to save from spilling) -1 chicken fried rice -1 sweet and sour chicken I had to drive 20 minutes away to deliver the stew and orange chicken, and thanks to that lovely bag, it was still HOT. I have not dined there since pre-COVID, so it was also great that they haven't wavered in quality of food like many places did. I'll be back for sure! read more

I've been here multiple times and every time I think about taking pics, my food is already gone! Everything here is yummy! My favorite dishes are the chili oil wontons and the dan dan noodles. My brother liked his pineapple slush & chicken fried rice. My husband ALWAYS orders the 3 cup chicken. That's delicious too. Corner 17 has been my 2025 new found favorite. Had been looking at the place for a minute before my family and I went , and now we cannot stop going. The food is always fresh and good. Service is great when you eat in and the carry out is so organized they set a precedent to be modeled at other places. Met one of the managers named Kelse and she is the coolest, most attentive asset this establishment has. I say that because recently she has my 88 year old father loving a dish she orchestrated for him that met his narrow pallet and leaves him wanting more and more. OMGoodness he ate the whole thing and even the rice . He had Salt and Pepper Shrimp w/ veggies and rice. Delicious. He loved the ratio of protein to veggies. Will not have a problem taking him back. The family loves the menu. Mala stir fry level 2 heat with cilantro , hand pulled noodles and many veggie combos are a favorite. The twice cooked pork belly and cabbage, Sichuan spicy fish filet, the dry sautéed green beans and the Bok Choy with Garlic sauce are a few of our favs. You can eat in restaurant and the ambiance is good but seats are in high demand . Friend who lived in St Louis for years recommended this place. Good noodles but it's not something I can't find in my state. Pretty authentic Chinese foods. Unlike usual Chinese restaurants Waitresses are mostly friendly & smiling. Patrons can directly see how noodles & dumplings are made through a glass window. Ambiance is just ok but foods are pretty excellent. I ripped my jacket when my shoulder brushed into a sharp edge of the entrance door. Had this was an expensive jacket the owner will have a hard time and it may ended up in court settlement. They need to change the structure of that first door entering the restaurant from the street. Had this incidence did not occur I would have a great experience and given a 5 stars read more

Corner 17 is located on the Delmar loop and has a nice spacious dining room and a Boba tea bar. (My son ordered a Boba tea and it was delicious). It was crowded but you get seated quickly and the service was good. You can see the cooks through a large window making the homemade noodles. We started with handmade wantons in chili oil which were fantastic. Next came the sweet and sour pork which was good but I prefer it warmer and crispier. the beef and vegetables needed to be warmer as well. The dish that stole the show for me was the Sichuan spicy chicken wings which were bone in and out of this world! We quickly picked them clean. The co star of the show was the stir fried pork noodles (the homemade noodles in it were awesome). We will definitely hit those places for dinner again! read more

The main calling for me was being able to watch the chefs hand toss and hand shred their noodles. However the food was just okay. I really enjoyed my spring roll and my veggie bao bun, but I ordered a chicken stir fry with hand cut noodles and it was 95% noodles which were tasty, but not super flavorful. I really wanted to enjoy the food more than I did. I would recommend this place however because it is cool to watch and the food was good enough. We love the boba here and appreciate the various options, and we have only ordered takeout, so that definitely impacts the taste of the food. That being said, the shaved noodles are too mushy and amorphous and just not that great. The next time I will try their hand pulled. Also curious to try their lo mein and Singapore rice noodles. Their spicy wonton dumplings were tasty and I would get them again, but not their fried chicken app dumplings, which were very bland. My family and I always go with the family style dinner/lunch by ordering a lot of appetizers and entrees, spreading the food out across the table and digging in! Their drink menu is an extensive menu filled with countless fruit tea, milk tea and slushy boboa creations. Honestly, I have yet to try a drink here that I didn't like, they're all that good!
