Food was incredibly delicious. Very authentic Thai cuisine. No bland plates, you can really taste the flavors in these dishes. Decided to do the Pad Woon Sen instead of typical Pad Thai and glad I did. I enjoyed the yummy veggies and the thin noodles. Flavor in literally every bite. Dumplings were yum with spice sauce on the side :) Food came out very quickly. Barely waited 5 minutes for appetizers. Place is small but cozy; good for groups of 4-5. Good, not quite great, and would likely be better to go in versus a delivery. I got their Khao Soi with chicken, as well as a papaya salad. As mentioned, this was delivered to a hotel, and yet they forgot the napkins and utensils.. so I was up a creek with this massive bowl of toppings and curry. I had to hunt around for a while and found a small spoon from across the street, but it didn't work all that well. The way the food was packed was nice in theory (toppings on top, like noodles, onions, etc. with curry below). Because of how it was all wrapped and had spilled, it ended up being a huge mess. Taste wise, good, but not spicy enough for my liking. I still took it all down, and it has good potential. The papaya salad was good, but one of the peppers in there wasn't mixed up and I ended up getting an insane amount of it in a bite that shot my tastebuds for the rest of the night. All in all, I'd try somewhere else next time but it was good quality and I'd be optimistic that an in-person experience there would be better than delivery. read more

Glad I decided to give this restaurant a second chance. First experience wasn't great, but the times after were. I usually order green or red curry but was in the mood for something else. The server recommended this soup instead and I'm glad that I gave it a try. It was filled with so many different flavors. I've come here a few times now and it's consistently great. The food is a bit on the sweeter side but they offer spice levels too. The appetizers are easy to share and the entrees are always tasty. I like the curry, pad Thai, fried rice, and their Thai tea is soo yummy! They even have a healthcare discount if it applies to you. We met here for lunch and left with enough for a second meal! This place is a little hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for. There is a private parking lot but we live close enough to walk. Upon entering we were greeted and told we could sit wherever we wanted. The place was nice and clean but not crowded. And after being there for a bit I figured out why - the number of food deliver people was a constant stream. We order and the food came out quickly. The dumplings didn't last long as they were very good. Both of us got more food than we could enjoy in one sitting so we got to-go containers. We were keep with full waters and enough checking without it seeming overwhelming. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. I'd recommend this place but make sure you are either at home or can take a to-go for later. We will be back. read more

The service was excellent! What we didn't like was the odor. They have an open kitchen, and the smell of overused grease permeated the restaurant. All 3 of us were coughing until our bodies got used to it. And our clothes were saturated by the smell too. They definitely need an air filtration system and some fans. I have never been in person, but have ordered from Uber eats a few times. The food has always been really good and is still warm when we get it. The kao soi it's probably my favorite thing, followed by the pad woon sen. read more

This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant in St. Louis! If I lived a little closer, I'd probably go here every week. I've had the pad Thai and the pad see yu with chicken and tofu and both are so good. Sometimes in pad Thai dishes the meat gets dried out but I've never had that issue here. Bangkok Cafe, a Thai restaurant, just opened up recently in the CWE. I was excited to try this restaurant hoping that there were more yummy Thai restaurants located in the CWE. I was pleasantly surprised! This restaurant is on the corner of forest park and Taylor and has decent parking. I ordered food for pickup and it was ready fairly quickly. I got the Pad Thai with tofu as my protein, and the Bangkok chicken. The food was still super duper hot when I picked it up! Overall the flavors on both dishes were well balanced. In particular, I was impressed with the Bangkok chicken. The chicken was crispy and the sauce was neither too sweet or too salty. The staff were polite and I would definitely come back to try more of their menu. Overall, I'm very excited that there are more Thai options in the CWE! read more

Decided to check out the place since it was new. The restaurant has a simple, but very cute interior and the staff was professional. I enjoyed the crispy spring rolls and the Massaman curry at this new Thai restaurant in a strip mall on Forest Park in the Central West End. They did a nice job, painting the interior walls and adding new lighting. Unfortunately, the exterior is confusing and dingy. They need to paint the front door. It's gross and it's a new restaurant! It's very confusing walking up to this restaurant. There's a banner out front that doesn't match. Also, I understand they're trying to let people know that they offer discounts for medical professionals and students, but the big sign in the window makes it look like it's not a restaurant. It's huge and the way it was written is confusing and almost like it's a medical office. There is a small parking lot so that's nice. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but just went for some late night Thai and got the spicy basil with tofu. My husband and I were sharing and he thought the food tasted kind of off but wouldn't say what put him off of it because I enjoyed the first few bites. He said he thought maybe the green pepper was bothering him. But eventually I tasted a bite that had the same flavor as his: piss. It literally tasted like piss and I had to spit it out. The food was okay, and I prefer food that is better than that. Of the four guests, one had a portion that was VERY small, but the others did not. One person asked for no spice and found their food spicy, but one who ordered medium spice found the food lacking in spice, like no spice.
