Chinese food is something that we enjoy. We have been going to this location for over three decades. A few years ago it was purchased by a new person. The food seems to have slipped. The dinning in experience is not pleasant. The place seems unkempt. People are coming and going constantly to get their orders. This time the most unsettling part was fortune cookie. I crack it open as and there is an advertisement! I did not appreciate that. On this occasion I came inside to order carry out. I joined about five others waiting for my food. It came out quickly and the order was complete. The food was ok. I long for a sit down Chinese restaurant in south city that would have good food, a pleasant environment that encourages one to stay a while and talk. Unfortunately this is not it. I

Came here specifically for a St. Paul sandwich, and... it certainly is a sandwich. It came out PIPING hot. Its salty, greasy, savory, rich and slathered with mayo with a kick of vinegar from the pickles. Its a little crisp from the egg foo young, but sandwiched between two soft pillows of plain white bread. Its everything all at once and also unlike anything at the same time. It manages to evade categorization and doesn't fit into my lexicon of sandwich, but it definitely is one. I've heard this is the place to go to try a St. Paul, and from my experience, it definitely seems like a St. Paul worth trying at least once.

Food was just okay and the service was very good. Good if you are in a hurry, but won't be a regular.

What's the best place to take someone from out of town for Chinese, actually eating in the restaurant?

Old St. Louis chop suey is the best Chinese I have had in this area living here for a long time. It is so tasty! They only accept cash. Another option is Hokkaido. It's a buffet and they also have American food available. It's very good as well just…

Coming to this Columbia, Illinois hot spot and enjoying the atmosphere you can see why. Be prepared to seeing it totally packed on the weekends. I wanted to see the two bartenders I personally consider the stars of the venue Abigail and Kassidy. As beautiful and talented as you obviously see they are it's their guest service and personalities win the day. Two sweeter and more genuine individuals I challenge you to find anywhere. I'm going to be 100% honest I actually do get nervous coming into see them. It's hard to imagine seeing two angels on Earth. All the girls rock and provide premier service. I lived in St Louis for 14 years and I must say this would definitely be my spot if I still lived in the area. With Abigail and Kassidy it's like coming back and seeing friends I've known. I get that impression it's their style with all guest. I travel the country and these two are my two favorites anywhere. I'd highly recommend if you're a first timer you request them. They're hard working and get their business done. And tip the well!!! They deserve it. Thank you. Michael J Beal Clearwater, Florida.

I knew they don't take reservations and won't seat an incomplete party, but I still got there a little early just to see if we could grab a table for five. I was surprised (in a good way) when they seated me before everyone else arrived. I even told the hostess I didn't mind waiting, but she encouraged me to go ahead and sit, which was really nice. Our server was super friendly and made sure I was taken care of while I waited. As my friends started arriving, he was quick to get them settled in too. We started with some non-alcoholic drinks and spent some time chatting before diving into the menu. It was honestly hard to pick just one thing, so I went with both the chicken pho and fried rice. I knew I wouldn't finish it all, but I really wanted both. Once we ordered, everything moved smoothly--our server checked in, made sure drinks were filled, and kept things organized. When the food came out, everything looked amazing and tasted just as good. Of course, with all the catching up we were doing, it took us a while to finish, but there was no rush at all. When we were ready, he brought the checks and was more than happy to split them out (always appreciate that!). Before leaving, I ordered a to-go meal for my husband and asked for a box for my leftovers. Our server actually took my plate and packed everything up in the back, which I wasn't expecting but really appreciated. He also brought out the to-go order right when it was ready. Honestly, everything, from the space to the service to the food, was just great. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon.

Love the new cocktail bar they added. It take away some seating however people can eat at bar too. We ordered cocktails while waiting for our table which took only a few minutes. My husband tried their version of an old-fashioned which used both bourbon and rum!!! It was good but he said definitely a "sipper". They have a full bar and much better wine selection now too. Starters for us were a bowl of wonton soup and the spring rolls. Both were good but rolls a little rubbery to me. The highlight of our meals was charbroiled pork. We are not capable of ordering anything else. Ha. I get 15.04 and he got 15.03 which includes an egg roll. Divine food!! The people who own this place are so friendly. Our waiter was also very nice. We can't wait to return
