Came here for breakfast and ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a coffee. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. Food came out very fast and it was really good. I tried the hazelnut coffee and loved it. The woman that brought us the food was super nice and the experience overall was good. Would def come back here again for a quick breakfast. read more

This place would be like any other corner bakery without the amazing personality and service of one lady Ms Yvonne. She greeted our family with hugs and told us she was happy we were there. After getting our breakfast she checked on us several times and then gave us hugs as we were leaving and told us to come back. In doing so she told us the world would be better off with more hugs. This was the best breakfast surprise ever! We walked across Peachtree Rd from our hotel just looking for a bagel or something and had a great surprise. I ordered the Commuter Croissant with eggs, bacon, tomatoes, and cheese which was so fresh and tasty. My husband got the Bacon & Cheddar Panini which was perfect! The best part was a bowl Buckhead Cheese Grits - melt in your mouth creamy and tasty!! The brewed iced tea was also fresh. Definitely a must return for us when we come to Buckhead again. read more

i've been coming here for ages and almost every experience has been positive. menu highlights- their macaroni and cheese is delicious and fresh, i would recommend getting the kid's version because you get just as much macaroni and cheese as you get in the cafe version, just without breadcrumbs. you also get a drink and a cookie! the caesar salad is really good, there's always a good balance between the chicken (well-seasoned, not super dry), cheese, and dressing, i love it. i always ask for dressing on the side and extra dressing, the portion is humongous. chicken pomodoro- always super warm and crispy with oozy cheese, and it tastes SO good. tastes fresh and delicious. garden gate scramble- the eggs are always so fresh and i just love all the components- the sausage is delicious. the potatoes that accompany it are also good. lemon blueberry hand pie- do not get this, the glaze had mild lemon flavor and mild blueberry flavor, too sugary. oatmeal currant cookie- so good! strong cinnamon flavor, super soft, and the currants were delicious. catavappi with marinara- the sauce is really good, i haven't gotten this in awhile but i really like this dish. read more

I am very impressed with this eatery in the heart of Buckhead. Arrived about 10:30am on a Sunday and the place was full of people but the service was fast and very friendly. My meal was $6.95 plus the cost of a large coffee and I soon found myself faced with a plate full of scrambled eggs three slices of bacon, two slices of whole wheat toast and hash browns. The food was extremely tasty and was not greasy at all. The coffee was good and hot and the waitress who brought our food gave us both a hug just because. This was a very pleasant surprise to be in the heart of one of the more expensive parts of Atlanta. I cannot say enough about the good food good service and the amount of food you get for such a little amount of money. My wife and I left out of there with a bill that was about 18 1/2 dollars. The same meal in our hotel across the street would've likely have been $45-$50. If you are in the area you should really give this place a try. read more

I first discovered this place about 15 yrs ago when I traveled to Atlanta for the Peachtree Road Race. I ate ALL my meals there while I was in town. Sadly, I noticed last year that the Corner Bakery had really gone downhill, physically. This year, I experienced the decline of the food. I ordered the Cafe (the size I wanted) Pasta Cavatappi. I'm a vegetarian. They brought out Pesto Cavatappi which had chicken in it. I hate to send back food but I just couldn't eat it and told the waitress why. She then brings out what I originally ordered but 1. it was cold and 2. IT HAD CHICKEN IN IT!! It's supposed to be a vegetarian dish! My friend's carbonara was also cold. Sadly, I don't think I will be patronizing this place in future trips to Atlanta. That makes me very sad as it had a lot of good memories for me : ( read more
