How did it come out to the table with mold??? The restaurant eventually replaced it. Also, the potatoes were cold. Ordered at 9:10 received order at 9:36, advised after waiting 10 minutes that they didn't start the Chicken Orzo soup and making it. Ordered a large for everything including French bread full size and I received a bread that is rock hard and stale. Soup is not full almost half way down the container and it was cold when received (still in a mass as if they just thawed it out and placed it in the container. If you pay $16.00 dollars for everything, shouldn't you receive some consistency in product to the consumer. Well this was a fail and either re-training or bring the quality up. Manager should be responsible for quality in the product they serve, this should have been screened during interview for the position. Well can't expect too much in a small town. Pretty awful experience -- the table was sticky, had to wait a REALLY long time on our order, and the order was wrong (the staff forgot the side of fruit, forgot the whipped cream on the pancakes, told us they were out of regular maple syrup, out of ketchup, out of sausage, and the food, when it arrived, was not very tasty at all -- marginally edible at best: we had pancakes with fruit, breakfast scrambles, and toast. The scrambles were soupy/watery, and the roasted potatoes managed to be both soggy AND dry at the same time). The place wasn't very busy, at the time, either -- it was pretty early on an Sunday morning. The only thing I can rate highly was the Diet Coke -- almost as good as McDonald's. First time back in a while. This place was not busy and still very slow service. Last time we were here there were lines and it was full. Our ticket was 12:41 and we finally got our food at 1:13pm. Eggs were cold, bacon was rubbery and cold and the Mac-n-cheese was room temp. There were missing items from some of the orders and the sweet tea was empty. They had no clean silverware so we were given plastic knives. This solidifies why we have not been here in a while. Unfortunately they have good food when it is hot and cooked properly. Well, we've been here one time before a few weeks ago. We did enjoy the food service was not great but we did get some service so we thought we'd try it again. Waited 10 minutes at the counter and nobody would come to the counter to help us look like a manager on the phone to corporate or something over to the side not worrying about customers ask the cook through the window. If anybody is working the counter, he would not even acknowledge me after about 10 or 15 minutes we walked out. A nice part about it is there's never crowded, but that's why it's not crowded. Ate here on a Sunday with my family of four, we also got a few pastries $57. Probably similar price to Panera Bread. We waited probably 30-40 minutes for our food, and when it arrived it was cold. My 1st grader had cold pancakes, and older brother cold Mac and cheese. My wife cold pasta. I only made it with an ok meal because I ordered a salad. In the restroom, something is constantly beeping. The sink looks dirty/dingy and needs to be cleaned. If you walk in and notice it's busy, I would leave. Management needs to improve. read more

Terrible all around. Food we ordered was not edible, there was something wrong with it and it had to be discarded. I reported it to the cashier so they could notify mgr and not serve it to others. I suggested they taste it themselves. She mentioned other customers had told them the same thing that particular day about that same item. First time customers and first visit to Bowling Green, KY. We stopped in around 9am on 12/23/25 for breakfast. They gave us each a muffin for being newbies. Food was good. Husband doesn't usually like restaurant oatmeal but this was great. The muffins were amazing. Good, hot coffee. I really wanted this to be a cute mom and pop restaurant in bowling green. It's not. I drove 15 minutes out of my way to try it. Full disclosure, it's like a mix between Panera and Starbucks cooked items. Long wait. Kind staff but it's definitely like a normal franchise kind of restaurant. Once I realized it wasn't a local spot, I adjusted my expectations. You order at the kiosk and then they bring out your order. I ordered egg bites. They took so long the kitchen gave me a double order for free. Very kind of them. They were good and yummy. I think they are experiencing staffing conditions just like everyone else. Just make sure it's what you want b4 you go. It was a little expensive for what I got so I wouldn't be back but I wanted to leave them a good review because I think it's important to keep businesses like this open and thriving. read more

Unfortunately, Corner Bakery Café has really gone downhill. The prices have gone up, as they have everywhere, but the service has really gone down. During my visit during breakfast, there was one person running everything upfront. Customer Service, making coffee, adding condiments to plates. There were four people in the kitchen, making pancakes. The person I assume is the manager was standing in the past through window. Yelling unconvincing welcome to customers as they entered, but didn't come upfront to help the one employee. Poor management. The windowsills and benches are dirty. The upholstery really needs to be cleaned. Just very disappointing. If this is a corporate store, they should be ashamed. Just a very underwhelming experience. They push for you to join their rewards program, when you download and sign up for the app, you can't get credit for the points for today's purchase. It has to be done before the transaction is complete, and there's no way to get the points after. Not worth it. read more

This place used to be really clean with great foo, but then the manager left to help with a new restaurant in Nashville and the. wiling Green location has been going down fast. This location is dirty, nobody cleans the tables, and the managers sit around with other employees cracking jokes for hours on end. This visit I ordered a kids meal for my 9 year old. We ordered potato soup with a grilled cheese.....easy order. When it hit the table the soup was stone cold and the fake cheese that was used had turned into oil and soaked i to the bread. I asked to have the soup replaced only to be told that the soup is from a bag purchased somewhere else and it is just heated up in the. microwave to serve. They then proceeded to reheat the soup in the plastic bowl it was in......has nobody ever had a ServSafe class in this place? Do they really not know that heating up the plastic bowl releases carcinogens into the food? Please close this place before someone gets seriously ill. read more

It's Saturday morning, September 27, 2025. I stopped by to eat breakfast before going to a funeral. I got a cup of coffee and the coffee was cold. I asked for another cup and my server said she would bring me a cup. Finally I walked to the front counter, she looked at me and then placed a cup on the counter where it was not so convenient for me to reach. I selected a different brew and this time the coffee was hot. My food was cold. The potatoes, eggs, and bacon were all at room temperature. I asked to speak to the manager and requested that she stop by my table to look at my food. I explained to her that my food was cold and that the server made no attempt to be friendly. I paid for my food and left a generous tip prior to being served my food. I told the manager that I did not want my money back and suggested that they make improvements based on my feedback. The manager did not apologize for my experience and simply stated that she would talk to the server. Hopefully this incident will be addressed by management so that future customers will have a better dining experience that I had. read more

The food, however, is really expensive for what you get. Bread was moist. Eggs were microwaved. Potato were stale and probably also microwaved... It is better than school breakfast or prison food. Probably made similar to Starbucks, but with less fancy ingredients. Will do in a pinch, I guess. Overall, it suffers from a business model that is blatantly cost cutting at the expense of the food. Came here for breakfast which they serve all day! They also have a drive thru! The wait was kind of too long for what we ordered/our situation. But the food was good. The place was a cute little cafe, you order your food and find a seat, they give you a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready so you know. We choose well I did, a high top but they also have booths all around. They have a coffee station and some lemonade and tea area. We went in for a quite small breakfast bc we were planning for a big lunch later. We ordered the Pancakes and Eggs & Bacon. Which came exactly as ordered. And we shared it between two people and it was more than enough. It came with 4 really fluffy and naturally sweet pancake & a thin semi sweet syrup that was perfect. (I prefer my syrup kinda watery.) the eggs were also fluffy and a little seasoned already. There was three long bacons that were sooo crispy and not even burned. This breakfast was great. Yummy. Solid 4.5. We stopped here this morning on our way to a work meeting in Campbellsville. I hadn't had any coffee or breakfast, so I needed all the coffee. I love that there is a patio space and little nooks within the dining area. All of the options for breakfast looked fabulous. Along with all the goodies in case. I could barely decide what to get. I ended up getting the bblt. I got my coffee before sitting down. This place is set up very similar to Panera. I grabbed my own coffee and sat down. They brought us our food at our table. First, the coffee was fantastic. Holy moly. So good. Second, the sandwich was massive. && even better, DELICIOUS. Seriously, so good. We grabbed a dozen muffins to take to the clinic. I know corner bakery is a small chain restaurant and this was one of the only things open early in the morning for breakfast. It was centrally located to our hotel and our boys really wanted some good breakfast before we headed to Mammoth Cave. I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice menu and selection for a bakery. I ended up betting the BBELT sandwich since there was an offering of double bacon - who can say no to that. We had a fresh cinnamon roll to keep us busy as we waited for the other food. It was cooked perfectly and the icing was amazing. Everyone got breakfast sandwiches except for my boy who ended up getting really good pancakes. For a chain restaurant this place really shined - all of the food was good and fresh and came out quickly. I would recommend that the staff their be a bit more friendly as they had huffed and puffed when I asked a couple of questions about the menu. We felt so lucky to find this little gem so close to home. At first when we started going there the Latte's were always tasty and service was fast. Well lately the flavored Latte's have no taste, you wait forever and uggggh back to Starbucks for us! I went today and the girl (you could tell was new) said my order back to me and said "do you want the Iced Latte cold?" then said "sorry I mean what size?" which I just told her. I got a large hot sugar free vanilla latte my daughter got a large cold sugar free vanilla latte. As we were driving along I wanted a sip of my hot coffee, well unbeknownst to me, the girl had it in 2 cups overlapping each other and the lid wasn't on because of the 2 cups it didn't fit properly. So as I sipped it the HOT COFFEE spilled down the right side of my shirt, staining my new white blouse and burning me!!! OMG! This place is a joke! I called and the woman who answered said "do you want a refund?" I said "no just tell the girl at the window to be careful" I was very upset but it wasn't this woman's fault who answered the phone. This was a beautiful place and very clean, but the service was horribly slow and the food overpriced and not very good. My $9 plate of eggs was bland, cold, and took a very long time. It took my son nearly 10 minutes just to get a glass of milk. The coffee carafes were empty except for one which had luke warm weak coffee and no creamer out. We must have caught them on an off day, but I wouldn't rush to go back. read more

Disappointed...not sure what's happened with Corner Bakery. I used to go to the one in Atlanta all the time and loved it but that was 20 years ago. I was hopeful it would be the same here. The food had become too "chain like" and bland. When they do get good items on the menu they let them go. The Breakfast Power Flats have been replaced with rubbery wraps that aren't as filling or tasty and the new breakfast biscuit sandwiches are dry, crumbly and tasteless, should have stuck with the local Kirby Poe sausage on this one. Would love to see the Chicken Apple Arugula Sandwich return but not sure when anything that good, will. read more
