Ducked in to check the place out. I run a walking food tour through downtown and my barber was telling me this place was legit so here it goes: * Small, some would say cramped. In-store dining but tiny. * Fair prices! * Nice options. * Popular with the construction set building the building across the street. * Excellent service from the three lovelies working the kitchen. Amazing! It's a little hidden gem. I passed by this place by chance and decided to go in. I had a latte (café con leche), croissants (medialunas) and a spinach tart. Let me tell you that in 25 years of having lived in the US, I haven't found good coffee till I tried Corner Cafe's coffee. It's the real deal. The croissants are the best I've had so far in Hollywood and the tart was very tasty. They also have a variety of other food items like alfajores, empanadas, sandwich de miga, pastries and a variety of different dishes for lunch. I highly recommend this place. Great place for breakfast. Be advised it is a tiny place though. Only 6 to 8 chairs at the counter. What this place doesn't have in real estate, it definitely has in taste. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (ham, egg, cheese, over easy) and my wife had an omelette. I liked my sandwich and my wife liked her omelette as well. The people were very friendly and seemed to know a lot of their customers. Coffee was interesting, but very good. I need to try the empanadas one of these days.
