Corner home medical has good service in the store, but their billing practices are dishonest at best. More than once they quoted me a co-pay which I then paid, and they later said it was wrong, and my co-pay was significantly higher. After the second time, I took it up with the corporate office, and was told by Kim something or other that, "they have no legal obligation to let you know what the co-pay is going to be." She didn't seem to care at all that I was billed 300 more dollars than I was expecting. They will also call you and hound you about purchasing more supplies. I specifically asked for my phone number to be taken off the list for that, which they told me that they did, but they actually didn't. I would avoid doing business with corner home medical if at all possible. read more

Just got a bill yesterday for services from last March. Called, and was told that I would be getting more bills approx $600.00, The co-pays of monthly bi-pap machine. Told it was a cyber attack or something, but UCARE stated that they had paid Corner every month since we started last March. FYI: The people we have dealt with in Robbinsdale are very kind and caring. So this is NOT about them. read more

I just picked up a rollator from the Robbinsdale store. The women who helped me could not have been more friendly, helpful, or knowledgeable! I had a short wait because there were other customers ahead of me, and I saw that the professionalism shown to the other customers was of the same high standard as that shown to me. I called the billing dept to check on a charge that was questionable on my bill and Polly L. said she could help me. Well, a couple calls and 17 emails later and she did not help me. Her emails were short and she did not answer my questions and I do not believe she investigated or even looked into this. I would email her and then I would wait days for an answer thinking she was checking it out, then I would email again and her standard answer was, "I need a return or pick up ticket". When I exchanged an item, the store gave me a "delivery ticket" which I forwarded to her. Apparently the store gave me the wrong form. I kept asking Polly then to please look into it and call shipping and the store and find out where the correct paperwork is. Seems like this company doesn't keep records or Polly didn't bother to look into it. There has been no follow-up and Polly would not even tell me what the charge is for or help me in any way. In one email she said she asked a manager to help, but I never heard anything back from anyone. This is really poor customer relations and neglect. read more

Mother passed away on Saturday. We live 30 minutes away from mother's place, said they would call 30 minutes before arriving, instead called when onsite, told technician I would be 30 minutes, gave me and wife grief for not being there. Next day was supposed to show, cancelled due to weather, but we were able to easily drive the roads at noon. Today they said should be close to 330 to 6, no show. Called after hours help desk and they said they would have technician call with if they were going to show, no call. If you hate your family, use these people, after you passed away they can go through further hell with this company. read more

I wish it was possible to give them ZERO stars. Nothing but trouble with our billing, i think they make up numbers and hope you or your insurance will just pay it. We wanted to get out from under the monthly rental costs and asked how much to buy the machine. It's impossible to get anyone to quote you a number. They want to keep you on the hook renting it. I asked how much we had paid so far and were told we had already paid more than $800. This is for a machine you can buy online for around $500. We brought the machine back and ordered one online for $449. Now four months after bringing the machine back, they sent us another rental bill! I won't be paying it! read more

Best place to find most medical supplies/equipment. The people are very helpful and if you can't find something there they will try to get you to someone who can help. I have used them on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The prices are fair and much cheaper than going through a hospital or therapy facility. When I was getting my walker I needed one that they did not have on the showroom floor so they sent someone to their warehouse to get it for me. It did not take long and they fitted it for me and showed me how to use it to my best advantage. I am planning on going back soon to get a few other items that I need. Would definitely recommend this place. They also take appointments so that you have their undivided attention and privacy. The location is easy to find and convenient. I hope that the customer service will continue after reading all the negative reviews. read more

I find your response interesting.. Yes the power outage was not the fault of the store, but how I was treated is what you should own especially since it is consistent with other reviews. They offered me the tubing, but what I really needed was the mask. They did not mention Osseo as an option, only Fridley. They absolutely did not send me the information I asked for. It took two calls to get it and when I finally found a responsible employee I received the promised information within minutes to the email you have on file. You should be ashamed of yourself for getting on here to justify such horrible customer service. Your staff did nothing to problem solve and showed great resistance when I was coming up with solutions. The simple fact I felt so unwelcomed at your Golden Valley location should be concerning to you but instead you justify and blame your customer instead of using this as a teaching opportunity for your staff. Do I even need to go into how when I called to resolve the problem the person on the phone kept yawning loudly? You reassured me that changing back to my previous supplier was a good decision. If you are in need of a knee scooter, look somewhere else. Even a different location of CHM. I rented a scooter from the Robbinsdale store and have had nothing but problems with it. The first knee scooter they brought out for me to use, I tested the mechanism to fold/unfold the handlebars for easy loading into the car. It was stuck. Unusable. Then, they brought out a different model. This one had a different style latch for folding/unfolding. It worked okay in the store, so I accepted it. The first time I tried to use it after my foot surgery, it unfolded, and would not fold back up when it was time to load it back into the car. Both my husband and I tried to fold it and it was just stuck. Not only that, but the brakes don't work well. It's totally worthless. I will be returning it early. read more

Never received my order for CPAP supplies so I called to inquire and Melissa in customer service was rude and aggressive, telling me I was out of compliance and that they had left me a message which they never had. These people are absolute crooks and scam artists. The attorney general for Mn needs investigate them. I was going to say the TV stations but these crooks adverftise like crazy on Twin City TV. I called and ordered a RESMED Airsense 11 Autoset C-Pap . They quoted $895.00, I told them I didn't need a hose or mask because I have a 9 year old Resmed. The unit and billing arrived and they charges me $1220.00. I called and they told me that they manufacture the water reservoir for the unit because it doesn't come with one and that's $250.00 - A COMPLETE 100% LIE! I gave them the choice of sending a return shipping label or they do a refund and charge $895.00 - which they resisted but did. The unit comes in a fancy Resmed case with all the labels and a factory made reservoir. They don't make reservoirs. They flat out tried to scam me and ill guarantee they do it with other people who really need a C-Pap right NOW and I am sure people buy into their line of BS. This was not a clerical error or a mistake they really tried to convince me to pay the extra money. And in their response to this post they talk about a CASH PRICE - that's a flat lie. I talked to 3 people and NO ONE mentioned a cash price accept me. Even if it was true - does that mean they cheat on Medicare pricing to the government? Flat out these people liars and cheats. Run away people. This is one of the worst company to work with. I have 5 people in the office telling me that my standard walker and shower chair should be read for pick up and their all cover under my 2 insurances. I went to the one in Robbinsdale, mn today and these two staffs refused to give me my walker and shower chair. They say because they don't see no doctor's notes. Okaay then why did all the staffs in the office say yes it's ready for pick up. They ask for their name and who I was talking to. They brought out a tiny shower with no back rest on it. Wow you got to be kidding me. I'm an adult with mobility issues and back issues and you guys are going to give me a tiny shower chair with no back rest. That chair look like it can fit my 5 years old niece. I did not requested for this. They told me to pay for the shower chair. Why would I pay? The office say everything is covered. Do you guys know MA/ucare os willing to pay for my shower chair but no I'm not going to pay for this tiny chair. Is there a supervisor I can talk to. These two staff refused to give it my the supervisor's name and phone number. I call the office to confirm everything again for the 8th time. They say everything went through and it's approved through 2 insurances. I found out the retails store manager's name is debbie.. I call my psychical therapist and I explained everything to him. The office says yes but the 2 staffs at the store says I have to Pay for the tiny shower chair. After talking to my physical therapy, he had make me feel so much better. There are better medical companies our there and we shouldn't have to get treated that way. It's not my problem no more the 2 staffs want to continued being smart. I have yet to deal with anyone at this organization that has not treated me with care, compassion and top notch customer service. They are the best and I highly recommend them. Corner Home Medical Osseo....I wish I didn't even have to give them one star because I sure wouldn't!! I have been through more than I ever should have with this company for several month just trying to get one item to help relieve my pain. I had to get an advocate from my insurance involved and finally they believed me that this was a covered item once she got involved, after all of that they called me FINALLY last week and month's later to ask me what scent of parafin wax I would like for a paraffin wax bath I had been trying to get, I thought this was too good to be true.....and it was!! I received a call the next day telling me insurance doesn't pay enough so I would have to come up with over $300. OMG!! I'm on disability, was a nurse , have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, lost my job due to severe health issues, ended up on state insurance and get this call AGAIN!! This item is $39.00 at Bed Bath and Beyond but I can't even afford that, I'm forced to go to companies that do this to people like me. The rudeness of the staff is totally inappropriate and I can hardly believe they stay in business doing business this way. I went to the old Merwin Drug in the past and this is NOT the service you would have received from them, terrible customer service and absolutely no compassion for their customers who are usually going through a lot if they are reaching out to them. Called to check on order and found out they had cancelled it because they couldn't reach us. They messed up entering the phone number in their files. They did not go back to original request to verify phone. Did not put in any additional phone numbers, nor did they go back to Doctor who ordered it to let them know it was canceled. So meanwhile, we are waiting for the bed to arrive. Well, now that my mom is in Hospice Care we are getting a bed in a day! Hopefully, hospice is not using Corner Home Medical in Golden Valley for the order. read more

I called them, in advance, to make sure they'd honor my prescription for compression stockings. They called my Insurance Co. and verified that there was 100% coverage. I went in and they check and re-check and finally, again, verified insurance. They couldn't read the Doctor's name so we did more research. When that was achieved we went to look for the stockings. My prescription was for Jobst but she encouraged me to by their brand. I declined. Even though she agreed that Insurance would cover the full price of the Jobst Brand, which was what was prescribed, she wanted to charge me $30.00 a pair because she said: the special way they applied for reimbursement did not allow them to make a profit, therefore she wanted to charge me the amount of profit they were seeking! Boo on them. I declined and went elsewhere - my prescription was filled immediately and without additional charge or attempts to manipulate! read more

We have used Merwin for 7 months now. Initially we were aligned with a hospice program so had little direct contact but for the last 4+ months we are a direct customer. Their staff is so very knowledgeable and helpful. They also give prompt service for all supply or malfunction needs. We had an issue with medicare coverage and I called she assured me not to worry that all would be covered and that it wasn't our problem but theirs. We had returned the pump for the air mattress and later realized we needed it. They only sell complete units but the staff gave me the manufacturer name and my part id number so I could purchase the pump directly at a huge savings for us. No matter what department I call or my reason for calling I have always been highly impressed with their professionalism. read more

Had a horrible experience with the staff and the company efficiency. I ordered compression stockings back in November 2015. They told me to check in each week because they'd be shipped to the store by then. Got the first pair middle of January and the second in February. So now my insurance deductible has not been met for 2016 yet whereas in 2015 my stockings would have been free because the deductible was met at the time I ordered them. I had blue cross blue shield and merwin drug on the phone together and merwin drug still would not resubmit the claim even though they told me to talk to my insurance. Well here all three of us were on the phone together and blue cross said this is fixable if merwin would resubmit. They were rude and unwilling to do as my insurance asked. Had I received my stockings 2 months earlier (when I ordered them) this would not be an issue. And merwin was unwilling to do anything for me even after they admitted it was their fault to begin with because of the delay in order. Please go to another medical supply store!!
