I highly recommend the pizza. I know you can get a pizza anywhere but this is a fresh dough pizza stretched out per order not anything frozen. The service there is always the best rarely ever a wait on some attention. Their always watching sports on their 14 TV's. The owners are the life of the party. Be careful they will almost always be hot (temperature)! Veggie Quesadilla - Delicious. It has onion, black olives, mushroom, cheese, and tomato. The taste was reminiscent of a real great omelette. It also has a unique salty seasoning to the tortilla with some cheese on the top which alone makes it worth coming for. You get salsa and sour cream included on the side. Service: 4/5 Depending on your waitress you will either have perfect wait service or hardly any at all. This visit though, we had great service, but the food took quite a bit of time. It took around 20 minutes from ordering for the appetizer pizza logs... Ambiance: 5/5 It's got a sports bar vibe too it, but is pretty tame. They have nice music playing, not too loud, not too quiet. It can get a bit rowdy at times but that's to be expected at a bar. The tables and whatnot are pretty standard too, nothing too fancy, but at least the seats are comfortable. Came here for a private party, nice place. They had wings, pizza, gries and chicken fingers. The wings were fantastic, plump juicy and crispy with just the right amount of heat. The chicken fingers again we're crispy and delicious but the fries were the star of the show. These fries were some of the most amazing fries I've ever had. Horrible service. Placed a take out order. It took 1.5 hours to get. My husband watched patrons sir, order and get served while waiting for an online order. When he finally got it, an item was missing. I called and it went to voice mail. I emailed and used the website but nothing. The owners simply do not care. Previously I called for take out and the gal who answered the phone told me I was going to have to wait to place an order before putting the phone down walking away. Local sports bar with good bar-type food. Drink specials (& food) every night of the week (5p-7p, 10p-12a) and all day Sunday. Has pool tables, juke box & TVs. Nice casual place. Dining area has long tables for groups. Friendly server. I've been here a few times since I moved into the neighboring area. The wings are tasty, specifically the butter garlic. Got denied entry for asking the bouncer politely not to bend my card in half. We got called homophobic slurs while exiting. Then tried to call and explain the problem, got told the establishment was arbys while music and people were chattering in the background. I double checked the number called again and they said they were CVS while the same noise was in the background. Completely ruined my friends and I's night. read more

This is another one of my favorite places to eat! Nice, clean and great service. I haven't tried much on their menu because once I had the Rachel sandwich, I was hooked. I order it almost all the time, best I've ever had! The French onion soup is also very good. I do suggest getting the pub fries with your sandwich, they add the perfect touch to your meal. Their chicken wings are also pretty darn good, on my list of top 5 wings in the area. We have stopped in at various times and have always had prompt service. This a place to avoid on the weekends, or you go during summer when all the college students go back home. It can get very busy with students. Despite all that the my favorite thing here is the french fries. They are amazing whether you are drunk or sober. I would seriously go just to eat the fries. Drink specials are really good. The Corner Stone is your all American college bar....with extra cheap drink specials, pool tables, a dance floor, and picture hunt. On the evening of April 6th, 2022 around 11 PM I was racially profiled and wrongfully removed from Cornerstone Bar and Grill. The whole point of writing this review is because I have heard of similar incidences here, however, I have never really experienced something quite outlandish as this in my entire life. I am compelled to use my voice because I am not afraid. I am not afraid of backlash and I am willing to speak up for POC as well as minorities who face the same type of discrimination on a daily basis. A caucasion older woman felt the need to put her hands on my ribs, innappropriately, and once I realized it wasn't one of my friends that did that, I turned and told her not to touch me. That's when she began to try and insult me calling me a "little boy" among other things. Of course I brushed off her comments and waited to get my drink like anybody else would. Next thing I know she slaps my ass twice and this is when I turned back and got vocal with her and began exchanging words because there is no reason for anyone to put your hands on me like that especially after I told you not to two seconds ago. I get my drinks and as I am moving away from the bar this woman and me are still chirping and not even 10 seconds later I have a bouncer in my face telling me I need to leave because the bartender said I was "causing trouble". After explaining to him what happened he brings me outside to talk to a "manager" or whoever buddy with the headband is and I have to explain to him what occurred. Towards the end the "manager" goes, "so you're angry she called you a little boy"? No sir, I am angry because you are quick to grab a minority and remove him from the bar before hearing the whole story. I am angry because based on my stature and skin tone you deem me "aggressive" and feel the need to remove me. I am angry because even after we spent around 10 minutes dealing with this whole situation, and even after I told you this woman sexually harassed me you did not bring her over to be questioned. She sat at the bar doing her thing while I was labeled as "dangerous" and "needed to be removed immediately". Roles reversed, I would bet my house that a lot worse would've happened to me and that is the sad truth. Who knows if I even would be here to share my occurrence at this establishment. You can keep my money, but I promise you I WILL NOT be stepping foot in this terribly run establishment! This is not the last you will be hearing from me, and that's a promise. read more

Everything was homemade and delicious! I was craving home style pot roast and mashed potatoes and yummy soup. It was spot on here! The pierogi appetizer was the best I have ever had. Drive by and find a different place to eat. My steak salad could have been from McDonalds. It had no taste, only head lettuce, literally a tablespoon of diced tomatoes, a sprinkle of cheese and three cucumber slices and looked pale. It took the bartender at least 15 min. to get our drinks ready. I fact when I looked over there was no bartender for at least 10min. Shepard Pie was not the typical- not naked and hot- items were just spooned on top of the other. Mashed potatoes were on the bottom!! Only thing that tasted good were the fries. This restaurant was right up the road from our Airbnb so we decided to check it out. We had the buffalo chicken dip as our appetizer; we joked that it contained nearly an entire chicken. I had the steak salad, which was very affordable at $9.99. The steak was very tender and I licked my plate clean. My husband had the Western Burger and he enjoyed it as well. I've always liked cornerstone it has a good atmosphere and normally good service... at midnight I took my friend out for his 21st and chose cornerstone because it was one of my favorite places to go. We were having drinks and playing pool. Then one of the managers a big muscular guy game over to us while we were in the middle of a pool game at 1:30 and put a chair on the pool table and told us we were done playing. (The bar is supposed to close at 2). We thought that was kind of rude... but whatever so we went up to the bar and tried to order a last drink before we left since there was still 30 minutes left before the bar closed but he told us we were shut off... so I very politely asked him why we were shut off and he said "because I want to close" which I get it, it was late and he was probably ready to go home but there was no last call or anything. So I told him that it wasn't right that he didn't offer a last call or anything. He then started yelling at me telling me he can do "what ever the f**k he wants to" and then kicked us out. If your hours advertise that you're open until 2:00 stay open until 2:00 or at least offer a last call. Very disappointed in this experience especially seeing how it was my friends first bar experience. I will not be back and neither will my friends. There are too many bars in Erie to go back to a place that treats customers so poorly. read more

I visited my friend here in Mercyhurst and we went out last night on Wednesday. First off, the bar itself was wonderful. The bartenders were very efficient even though the bar was packed because of the special deals. The deals were amazing I barely spent any money and all the drinks were great. However, I had a huge issue with the bouncer named Alex. I walked in and was immediately attacked by this woman. She was rude and interrogated my ID which was clearly me and I am of age. She asked for an additional ID which I showed her and then she proceeded to say the ID didn't look like me. She began getting hostile with me and asked "why are you getting so defensive." Who wouldn't get defensive after being denied two ID's that were clearly you. She then started questioning me about my height and then asked me to smile and said she didn't think it was me. She then got a second opinion from a bartender who came over and said "this is clearly her". After this I approached the manager, Greg, and told him my issues and he could careless about the actions of his employee. After encountering such negativity from Alex and lack of concern from Greg I can honestly say I will never go back to that bar again. It is a real shame because the bar itself is a wonderful place to hang out with friends. read more
