Quality diner. Great service. Clean, casual space. We came in on a Sunday morning and they offered a large menu of breakfast and lunch items. We sampled a few things including an omelette, pancake, Greek burger & Ruben sandwich. We also had an iced salted caramel coffee which had ice cream, caramel & whip cream. We didn't have to wait for a table but we were prepared to. Sometimes a line would form but the hosts were able to get tables turned over fast so the wait wasn't too long. It is not my purpose to be unkind. Instead, I wish to let you know. My wife and I visited Pano's today at 2:45 pm. We had an appointment in Erie and looked for a Greek restaurant, We were seated, got our drinks and asked for a moment to look at the menu. It took for ever for her to come back to take our order. We could see her busy at simple tasks and never looking our way. It then took for ever to get the meal. We ordered Greek hots and I had Greek fries, my wife had fries with gravy on the side but got the gravy on the fries. The Greek sauce was bone dry with no flavor. My fries were dry with only a little Greek sauce. I ended up putting ketchup on my fries for moisture and flavor. My wife scraped the Greek sauce off her second hot and put ketchup on it. Worse of all the buns were stale. They not only tasted old but they looked that way too. We are at a loss to inderstand how this meal could be served to us. Worst breakfast ever. Tea water not warm enough to steep tea. Hash browns tasted like boiled potatoes no seasoning at all and just bland. Very small portion. Ordered bacon crispy and it came cold and almost raw no crisp at all. Got two pieces of Italian toast that was cold also and only 1 tiny jelly packet no choice of flavor just thru it on the table. My visit was the first visit in a long time. Just looking for a good cup of coffee and found it here. I was very impressed by the open atmosphere and the outdoor venue. While everything was clicking positively, I met the charismatic waiter, Xander, who took service over the top in a very good way. He was part of my final stamp of approval! To top everything a super kind lady at the next table quietly paid for my delish cinnamon roll. Serving Breakfast and Lunch, this local spot really hit the spot while on vacation with my family and we were looking for a nice place for a regular breakfast. I had the Hat Trick Breakfast, which was 3 pieces of bacon, 3 sausage links and 3 eggs cooked whichever way I liked (I went with scrambled). Accompanied by hash browns, two pieces of toast and coffee, it was just what I needed. My wife got an Egg White Omelet with home fries and daughter got her standard pancakes with a side of bacon that she gets every time we go out for breakfast. Friendly staff and a decent portion of food without a huge bill, I'd recommend going to Panos if you are in town and would like a nice sit down breakfast (or lunch) in at a nice local spot. read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant and am glad I did! There was no wait as you can tell the restaurant is run efficiently, and has great service. Portions were generous, food was delicious, hot, and came out in a timely manner even though it was crowded for Mother's Day. The Greek sauce (a meat sauce) is a nice addition to any dish. The owner is quite personable, knows many of his customers, and takes a special interest in them, which is apparent. He is carrying forward his great-grandfather's legacy keeping the restaurant alive and serving the community. I appreciate supporting a local business like this. This is the place to go to get an honest meal. No frills but always solid. The staff is superb and treat you great. Sometimes they can be a little busy but if they are, you can always tell they're doing their best. I've never had a bad meal here. They are super kid friendly too. read more

Decor was OLD and dingy, floor was sticky and the place smelled a little funky. Menu is small, not very diverse but it has all the breakfast staples. Eggs, meat, pancakes, waffles etc. Wait staff was polite but absent. After our food came we almost never saw our server again. Food was alright, came out quick, arrived hot. Portions were a little small. Price was decent, 28 bucks for two adults and a kid. I would come back but I wouldn't wait in line for it. read more

I enjoyed the best omelette I can remember having. The restaurant was clean, plexiglass separated all the tables, and service was friendly and prompt. I was pleased to find just the kind of restaurant I value - locally owned, quality ingredients skillfully prepared, and pleasant service. As we left, I noticed that one of the dinner specials that night was lasagna, one of my favorites. I mentioned it to my wife and at dinner time, she remembered. I ordered two take-out lasagna dinners and they were ready when I arrived. They looked beautiful and when my wife took her first bite, she said this is amazing. It truly was. It reminded me of my mother in law's, which is a huge compliment. The salads were fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We found our new favorite restaurant. read more

I met up with a friend for lunch. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. I had the Southwest Chicken Tangler Sandwich which was delicious. It was a grilled chicken with pepper jack cheese and crispy onions. The French fries were delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the service was amazing. We're traveling home to Chicago area from New Hampshire. Had lunch at a McDonald's on the New York Thruway - two burgers, two fries, two iced teas for $19.50. We just paid the same amount for dinner at Panos - and it was excellent diner food. Chicken tenders and fries - perfectly hot and crispy. Not greasy. Not stale. My husband ordered the Cuban Rueben and let me try a bite. Corned beef, roast pork, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut on pumpernickel. Really, really good sandwich. Alright the only time I have ever gone to this Restaurant is after midnight. The food is nothing special, but the price is cheap! The breakfast food is good, i like the waffles, but I don't think you can make waffles bad. My friend ordered a burger and it looked like someone just shit on a bun. The next morning sitting hungover, we realized how gross the "burger" looked. Honestly, if you care at all about your body and what goes into it, eating here probably isn't a good idea. But, if you drunk, have a DD, and want to eat cheap, this is the place to go. This is a formal warming though, they will probably mess up your order at least one time. Stay away from the Greek Burger=shit. Waffles are a go, and chicken tenders are a safe bet as well. Panos is amazing! The servers are very down to earth, and the food is fast and amazing. My favorite thing to order is the "Greek Buster." A Greek Dog, a Greek Burger and Greek Fries. Add Cheese. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Their breakfasts are amazing and cheap. Cajun Chicken sandwich is amazing. I have so many memories of long coffee-fueled, conversation-filled nights here. We stopped here at about 8 p.m. on a Friday evening, and there were only a few other people in the restaurant. Despite that, the service (with two waitresses on duty at the time) was poor. We were told to seat ourselves (typical of Panos and not a problem) and did so. The waitress came over, and brought us our drinks within a minute or two of ordering. When we told her we needed a few minutes, she went away, and didn't return for fifteen minutes. I tried to signal to her a couple of times and got no response, and she was not too accommodating when she came back to take our order. Came here for breakfast with a buddy around 9-10a during the week. I ordered the big breakfast with hashed browns. It's a typical breakfast diner that tastes below average. The hash browns were soggy and the toast was dipped in butter. The eggs, bacon, and sausage tasted extra greasy if that's even possible. You're not going to be wowed by this place and it is far from anywhere close to healthy. However, if I came here again, it would definitely be for the price. The portions aren't amazing but you pay a couple dollars less for breakfast here as opposed to all the other diners. read more

Aah, my first 1 star review. Sorry, Panos! :( It was really late, like 2am late, and I was coming home from volunteering at a 3-day event. Everyone was hungry and we decided to stop since it was close by. I ordered a simple ham and cheese omelet with a side of hash browns. My hash browns were totally cold and kind of wet. Did not like. My omelet, however, was kind of burnt, and they spread the eggs so thin it was kind of papery. I suspect it was pre-made eggs from the carton. My ham chunks were definitely regular lunch meat quality you buy from the store, and cut them into huge squares, tucked away between my egg-sheet omelet, with a small slice of american cheese half-way melted on the top of it. None of the flavors blended; it just tasted like burnt egg, ham, and cheese and not an omelet, so it was clear to me everything was pre-cooked and just thrown together at the last second. My friend ordered the pierogis, and they literally the frozen kind from Walmart that you microwaved. The restaurant was definitely a cheap diner, not even the good ole 'Ma and Pop' store, but more along the lines of 'we can't afford to update' type of diner. Buyer beware, I highly doubt this place serves whole foods. read more
