I didn't eat them--I sent them back and politely asked for them to be removed from the bill. My friend got a box for his food and despite the experience, still left a tip. When we walked to our car, the waiter and other staff members proceeded to flip us off, give us thumbs-down gestures, and stare us down through the windows until we drove away. Why should I be expected to pay for or eat something I didn't order? Mistakes happen, but treating customers this way for respectfully addressing a mistake is extremely immature and unprofessional. Customers spend their hard-earned money to support your business and deserve basic respect. Your staff represents your business. If management allows this kind of behavior to continue without addressing it, it reflects poorly on the entire establishment and sends the message that treating customers this way is acceptable. We won't be returning.

But it was so thin a cut.....it didn't have time to develp a good char or sear and the result was the steak cooled quickly, was not as flavorful and in fact tasted a bit mushy. Ate about half of it. Manager was nice enough to give a break on the bill (although I did not ask for it.) I have dined here I think 4 different times and this was my first mediocre or bad meal. You apparently walked in expecting the entire establishment to revolve around your very specific demands, got disappointed, called someone a "clown," accused them of lying, and then produced this barely decipherable masterpiece of nonsense. The staff didn't fail you--you failed to understand where you were, what they offered, and apparently how restaurants work. And judging by the grammar and coherence of this review, I'm not sure you were in any condition to be evaluating anyone else's performance. Being unhappy with a meal is one thing. Throwing a tantrum because a restaurant didn't conform to whatever bizarre expectations you had in your head is another. Do everyone a favor next time: stay home, lower your expectations, and let the adults enjoy their dinner without having to witness another episode of The World's Most Confused Customer. The restaurant got one bad review. You got permanently immortalized as the person who wrote it. I'd say one of those is considerably harder to recover from.

Firestone's Kitchen…read more This was the BEST pizza I've had in Erie as a traveller looking to settle here. I've tried 3 others, mostly very flat on crust or flavor (all independent places). Firestone's pizza has an excellent char, solid sauce and flavorful toppings. The restaurant also has a beer/wine store, and a eye pleasing meat counter/butcher. I have no complaints - friendly service, fair priced pizza for excellent quality, and the liquor section has some charm to the decor. ***From the road, look for Gordon's (even though Firestone Kitchen is the eatery). Gordon's is more prominent from the road.
