My daughter was beyond ready for kindergarten. She learned all her letters, numbers, sight words and left so confident. The environment staff created for all the little ones was so safe and perfect for learning. Kiddos are split by age and have enough staff to care for the entire group. Every day they have crafts and activities related to the theme of what they are learning about that week. They have events for holidays and invite the families regularly (Mother's Day, Father's Day, family picnics, Christmas concerts). In the summer they follow a summer program with fun activities to keep the kids entertained and engaged. They get three meals a day and nap. They only close for a few holidays so working parents don't have to scramble to figure out where to take the kiddos. I cant say enough good things about this school. I am so grateful that we became part of this family. Rest assured that this school is going to check all your boxes when looking for daycare or to get your kiddo started on a school routine. We had come from another daycare with shorter hours, less staff and more pricey (the cost was just the cherry on top).

I am beyond grateful for each and every one of the teachers here. They all go so far and beyond for your child. Our number one worry as a parent is "are they being well taken care of?" Look no further, everyone here is phenomenal. I love how they are well communicated with the parents. They have an app where they send you day to day pictures and info on how your child is doing. In the summer they have really cool activities for the kids so even though they're in school for the summer they make it feel fun for them with water days to jumpers and so much more. My son had a speech impediment and was taking him to speech therapy the whole time he was here but I honestly feel like he excelled his expectations here. All the teachers are very caring and supportive they treat the kids as if they were their own. Ms. Cindy the director is the absolute best. I am beyond blessed and grateful I was able to find this place and for my son to be able to go for 3 1/2 years.

In this scary world, it comforted my heart to know my children were in a safe place with people who cared and supported them. We miss her and I can't wait to hand her over my third baby when he's ready!

What has impressed me most is the people. The teachers are incredibly caring and attentive, and the parent community is genuinely involved in the life of the school. I loved both their daycare program and preschool. My daughter attended for 3 years. She's currently excelling in kindergarten, thanks to her preschool education. The Pre-K program she attended with Mrs. Carmen really set her up for success, not just academically but socially as well. Mrs. Carmen was the perfect balance of fun while still teaching her to get along with others and follow rules. The small class sizes and attention to each individual student gave her a strong foundation for elementary school. She learned her colors, shapes, numbers and to read and write the alphabet. She attended year round. During the summer they offer many activities that are all held on site. She had so much fun over the summer. My one year old son currently attends daycare at Lad n Lassie. He's attended since he was 2 months old. Going to work and leaving a baby at day care can bring up such anxiety as a mom. The caretakers in the infant room are so caring and communicative. I know he is in great hands with Ms. Rosie and Ms. Cynthia. They let me know daily about his eating, sleeping and diapers via a chart they give back daily documenting his day. All of the teachers and caretakers use the app classdojo to commuicate, so I can always reach the people caring for my kids. He comes home with the cutest crafts of his hand and footprints. This school has really great programs for infants up to pre-k and I am really happy with the care and education my children received here.

When concerns are raised, communication is handled in a dismissive manner rather than through collaboration or dialogue. Parent input is acknowledged superficially, key points are bypassed, and agreements made at the classroom level are not upheld at the executive level. After receiving an assessment that did not accurately reflect our child's abilities (completed less than two months into enrollment), we raised concerns about the lack of context, narrative, and communication. The teachers acknowledged the assessment was not an accurate reflection of her capabilities and agreed it should be updated to reflect her short acclimation period and current capabilities. However, when this was escalated to the Executive Director, those agreements were disregarded. Rather than updating the assessment as discussed, leadership insisted on singling out a child instead of correcting an administrative misstep. Requests to simply revise the original assessment with accurate context were dismissed. When we expressed concern about the long-term academic implications of having an inaccurate student record, we were dismissed. The Executive Director superficially acknowledged our concerns, and reasonable requests were met with inflexibility rather than problem-solving. A school's culture is shaped from the top. If families are leaving, leadership may want to reflect on how parent advocacy is received and addressed.
