I went in with very low expectations based on the reviews I had read prior to going. Well I am happy to say we had a really good time. We used a groupon and so did everyone we spoke to so I would suggest making sure you do the same as nobody pays the prices listed on the website. The service was fine and the servers were all friendly. Someone even came to our table to see how we were doing. The other couples we were seated with were lovely. One of them even bought champagne for the table! Others we met throughout the night were equally friendly. Met a group from south jersey and danced with them all night. Speaking of dancing.... The music was great highlight of the cruise and everyone was up on their feet until the very end. Overall the food was sub par but you don't go on a dinner cruise with a groupon expecting a 5 star meal. It's not realistic. If you are looking for a Michelin star restaurant go to a Michelin star restaurant. People were commenting on the view. During the dinner cruise all you were really able to see where lights and it was fine. If I wanted to see Statue of Liberty etc. I would go on a cruise around Manhattan and would've had to pay a lot more for it. Where do I start? We board the boat and are told which deck to go to. We find our table and only two seats are available but we booked a trip for four people. It turns out that some people at our table sat at the wrong table, but it took 45 minutes or so for the staff to figure this out... Whatever.... We stood around and had drinks while they tried to resolve the problem.... We finally seat ourselves..... One of our party members goes to the bar to order drinks and the bar tender says "we will not serve you unless you tip us...." Well, we are not cheap and we do tip.... but this is an open bar and we do tip generously... but not every time we order a drink. I said something to a staff member and the problem was corrected because when I went to order from the bar tender who gave my friend problems, she gave me zero problems despite me NOT waving dollars in her face. By the way, the only reason this place gets two stars is because a staff member corrected the crappy bar tender's problem and we were seated next to nice people. At the end of the night we leave the boat along with many other people who were boarded on this same boat. We walked at least a mile in the freezing cold to find a taxi. Despite the irritation of walking in the cold for a mile, my party was healthy and able... I cannot imagine someone being disposed to this when they are not as healthy and able. What a nightmare. The coldest new years eve in the past 100 years (8 degrees... according to the news) and the passengers of the boat have to walk a mile to find transportation. I would not recommend this to anyone. Ever. We paid $1,200 to attend this event (approx. $300 per person). I'm sure this terrible service wasn't intentional (minus the horrible bar tender who was intentionally rude and should be terminated), but this place definitely needs to get their act together. read more

If you are looking for a quiet dinner cruise....THIS AINT IT! This is a party cruise, pure and simple. We went there for our anniversary. I have to say I really didn't know what to expect. But I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was great. Wait service, no buffet. We had the short ribs. So tender you could cut it with a fork. The drinks were stiff, not watered down. Absolutely horrible! IThe air conditioning only worked on half the boat, and we got sat on the side where the air didn't work. I'm not one to make a big deal about things and I usual try to make the best of situations, but this was absolutely ridiculous! It was so hot to the point it was uncomfortable. If felt like a sauna!! No exaggeration. We did the Sunday dinner cruise, and we got dressed up, only to be drenched in sweat. And to make matters worst, when we complained, the crew looked at us like we were the ones with the problem and that we should just deal with it. We spoke with a manger to see if they could at least bring a fan, and two hours into the cruise, after baking in the heat, they brought a small fan that barely did anything.. I mean we get it, the air conditioner wasn't working properly..and perhaps they were working to get it fixed..but my bigger issue was the fact that they had bad attitudes towards us about...we are paying customers! It's because of our money that you can operate. Yet they were very unapologetic. You would think the manager would come and apologize to the whole table and offer us a round of free drinks. But her response when we complained was "you should be more understanding". I swear I'm not one of those people who complain. I'm pretty easy to please, but this cruise was horrible and the workers on the cruise had bad attitudes. I will NEVER do this cruise again. If you're considering taking this cruise, please please please don't waste your time or money. You're better off driving to Hoboken or NYC to take a sail on the Hudson River. Cornucopia Sucks! They don't even deserve one star. By the way this was our second time. And each time the experience wasn't good. The first time we took it, we did a Saturday lunch. It wasn't as hot but when we got there they didn't have our names reserved and we had to wait 30 minutes to get back on the boat because they lost our reservation. First of all thanks to Groupon and Cornucopia Cruises for having this great deal that we could afford to celebrate our anniversary! While I was looking at reviews here on Yelp! I had already booked my dinner cruise and had a hard time with all the negative reviews. I will say that none of these negative reviews are true! It was the most amazing experience that I have had in a long time. I'm not someone who doesn't get out of the house much I've traveled the world and been to some amazing places. This was one of those experiences. The whole dinner was great and the dessert was to die for. You get your money's worth and you will not leave hungry or dissatisfied with the beautiful cruise and amazing sunset views and views of NYC. Music was great, the DJ took requests. Recently abroad the Cornucopia Princess via Groupon and was extremely disappointed. I have always seen their boats docked in Hoboken and figured I'd try out one of their dinner cruises. - Originally supposed to board at 7pm, our time was pushed back to 8:30pm then returning at 12:30pm (kinda late for a Saturday night dinner plus for those that had after plans). - The hor d'oeuvres were pigs in a blanket and fried broccoli tossed onto a small plate. The dinner was not appetizing and served buffet style with cold plates and cold hard dinner rolls. Ordered a glass of sangria that cost $10 because they decided to put grey goose in it. Then had a giant class of old, bad, sour Merlot. The dessert consisted of assorted birthday cakes with slices thrown onto plates. - The DJ was awful, constantly interrupting the good songs and playing wedding hits ie electric slide, we are family, etc. - When it came time to dock back, there was a huge line because everyone was dying to get off this "cruise." It took them 30 minutes to line of the gangway with the gate and we didnt get off the boat until 1am. People were then running to the cars parked in the garage that was closing at 1am. The views of NYC were incredible, so I'll give them that much. Nothing compares to seeing downtown Manhattan all lit up and the glowing Lady Liberty. However, next time, I'll stick to the party boats. read more

Overall rating: you get what you pay for. The only thing I liked is some views of bridges in the area from unusual angle. Everything else is either OK or worse. Do not arrive too early: there is no bar or even covered area to wait for boarding in, they will depart later than scheduled, you have to pay taxes and service charge at the reservation moment, pay extra to sit at the table for 2 or you will be seated at a tight table with strangers, dress code is not enforced: I spotted multiple people wearing jeans and running shoes. After boarding you probably want to shut off ac went on top of your table, as later when more ppl will do that - it will be blasting cold air. Music is way too loud for casual date, but pretty good for dancing, also horrible music choices in the early part of the evening, unless you want to be talking you your date while screaming over some no-name rapper. When service guy stopped by and offered drinks I was expecting a menu with a wine list, and all he had was "white and red", no name, region, or even type of wine available, also refused to show me the bottle before pouring. They pour like 1oz of whiskey, I'd be ashamed to serve a pretty normal whiskey glass that has half-a-finger of liquor. Then prepare to wait for 20 mins for your drink, and if you want seconds - go to the bar yourself. So bring 2 bottles of nice wine if you want to truly enjoy this trip. Food is relatively OK, but first appetizer is a reheated dish from Costco, and I got all my food considerably colder than serving temperature should be. Nothing fancy, but it will cover up your hunger. Horrible timing in serving second deck: some people finished eating before others even got their plates. Finally by the desert time it looks like they loose all interest in working as we first got coffee cups, then 10 mins later warm milk, then another 10 mins later guy poured half a cup of overburned coffee, then 10 mins later another guy dropped off some spoons for desert, and then 15 mins later desert arrived (apparently they run out of cake on that floor and dude had to make a trip to the lower deck). I happen to ask for more coffee and it never arrived before docking, which was also 20 minutes past scheduled time. Now you can see why they charge gratuity at the reservation time, as I'd given 5$ at the most for this level of service. Now good things, parking is paved better than surrounding road and is well lit. Restroom. Is private and generally is better than what I was expecting. They do have a DJ and once music requests started coming in - it was more enjoyable. And you're on the boat. That's it. I sure won't be coming back unless I will feel like taking a ride on a boat during hot day, and mostly for the industrial views, BTW ship does not gets out of immediate surrounding area, will get a glimpse of south Brooklyn at the most. You can go once, but bring a cigar, 2 bottles of wine, and do not expect to have a quiet date. read more

My friend and I just returned from a Friday night dinner cruise. The entire experience was great. We boarded quickly. The service was friendly and efficient. The price for a glass of wine was very reasonable. They gave us a dish of appetizers, pasta, salad an entree and dessert. All the food was delicious. The DJ was great, we danced the night away. When we got hot we sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and gazing out at the water. They had a very large self park parking lot. Great night! I highly recommend it. read more

BRUNCH CRUISE NOT GOOD! Did the Sunday brunch with a group of 9 for my sister's 50th birthday and would NOT recommend this to anyone. Waiter greeted us for our complimentary 1st drink by saying "I'll be your waiter for today" and once those drinks were served, he never returned again. Most of the hot foods on the buffet were actually cold - I don't even think they had the burners on. Food was mediocre and nothing to get too excited about. The worst part was actually the DJ - he was just awful. He played LOUD dance music while everyone was eating & could barely talk. Then once the food was served he put on all slow songs for at least an hour and went outside. We were all falling asleep. I finally complained to him and he put on the most awful combinations of "dance" music. Very bad DJ - there's always classics to play for a mixed crowd and a good DJ knows that. I never write reviews but after last night I just had to. Last night was my 21st birthday so I wanted to go somewhere elegant and fun. Me and my boyfriend came inside they asked us for our name and showed us where our seat was. They sat us in a table of 8 which was really weird but that's not important. So we sat down for a good 20 minutes. NOT one server came to our table and greeted us nothing. The only Reason why a server came because I was staring at her and she felt like she had to come. She greeted us and said she would be ONE of our servers. So pretty much you'll get a different server every time. The service was HORRIBLE they never checked on me and my boyfriend they only came when we called them, which was EXTREMELY hard to do they would move to fast or not look at us. They only catered to big tables probably because it was just me and him so they figured they won't make a good tip on us. Service I give it ZERO stars. Next I give communication a ZERO star. Just like everyone else on this site has been complaining about. YOURE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! There was lack of communication. They didn't great us, explain how the menu worked, nothing! Like I said I had to called a server to GREAT me and ask HER questions it was horrible. Then the boat left an HOUR later! Didn't tell us why or how. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. And just like everyone has been saying we still came back on time. So they pretty much stole our time away. The bar drinks I can say give it a thumbs up. Their sangria was amazing. Only 10$ for a HUGE glass. And the wine was good only 6$. They don't have a drink menu which I thought sucked. Because you don't know what they have or prices. Remember it's not included with the tickets. I thought it was at first because I saw no menu and no one said it wasn't included. Thank god my boyfriend and I asked because that would had been a surprising bill. Don't expect to get your drink on time either. Took forever to order a drink then took forever to get it. I would watch other tables be catered to the server would come their every 5 minutes while they came to us every 30-40 when we called them. Trust me I can go on complaining forever about how bad the service was. Food was alright. Cheese cake was frozen... The DJ was horrible. He played slow jams pretty much all night. Don't get me wrong slow jams or cool but you don't start up a party with slow jams. Specially pretty much all night. I love dancing. I danced once! Because I was completely bored with his choice of music! I was hoping he put faster songs but that didn't happen. He started playing party music as we were leaving.. I thought that was hilarious but not in a good way. If you are young I do not suggest going to this place. I would highly suggest 35 and up. Ok, I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked in, the decor was nicer than expected, kind of classy. It was all down hill from there. The wait staff was very pleasant and nice, smiles and a good attitude But CLEARLY inexperienced and understaffed. Service was beyond slow. Half an hour for water and wine glasses to be filled. Appetizers were not our choice, they were given in teeny tiny plates and were the frozen brands that were dumped in s fryer. Pasta was a pathetic spoonful, ceasar salad the same miniscule portion , Dinner took An eternity...I really mean an hour since salad service, and was luke warm at best. Two ladies in our table said their dinner was outright cold and sent it back to be heated and it was 40 minutes before they got their food back. Desert was a glob of tiramisu that was slapped on my plate, cheesecake and chocolate cake were ok. But we had NO UTENSILS FOR DESSERT so it sat untoucHed in front of us for half an hour while we waited for spoons. $68 for two pitchers of weak sangria that was mostly ice. It was raining and the rain revealed the countless leaks throughout the boat, in halls, ceilings and downstairs bathrooms that had not been painted or touched in no less than thirty years. After reading the other reviews I attended the Cruise on 7/25/15 with low expectations. I was with a groupe of 11 Firemen and our wifes for a fun night out. We had prepaid for open premium bar, As I tried to order at the bar I was told not until 7:30 can I have a drink. ( Cruise started at 7pm) At 7:30 I again asked to have a drink , I was then told not until the ship get underway. O.K. Once underway I asked for a glass of Sangria, I was told that is not included in a premium bar....What? OK give me a Padrone on the rocks, Nope that was taken for our other boat so I settled for a warm beer. Speaking of warm, Most of the quests were outside on the deck because the air unit that was fixed was not working properly....Nice. Dinner was ok at best. I had a short rib which was good not great. the pasta was small portion and nothing special. We cruised up the Aurthur Kill river to Carteret which had fireworks ( Highlite of the evening ) after that back to the dock. Very slow,short ride with not much to look at. The high side was dance floor was moving and the staff was nice. All in all Its like White Castle, Had them and no need to have it again anytime soon. I booked a 4 course meal for my fiance and my anniversary. When I called for the reservation i had to pay an additional $35 for tax and gratuity. We arrived to the cruise and when we were sat we had to share a table with another couple (this was never informed to me) i was very disappointed, had i known ahead of time we had to share the able i would have asked for a refund. Okay, so I am not one of those people who writes bad reviews often, but this was 4 hours of music so loud my husband could not hear me from 1 foot away. It started off being messed up because the cruise canceled our original booking and we had to find an alternate date FAST because we are only in town for 5 days. Then we wanted a private table and had to pay 20$ more, but we probably would not have had to because there were so many empty tables. As soon as we set sail, the music began...and IT NEVER STOPPED. The music blared and blasted until the poor woman sitting in front of us was almost in tears. The food I would give a B-, but our server was not very good and, because of the loud music, he couldn't hear us asking for butter for the bread, so we got none. We thought the sprite was included, not true, and ended up paying almost 10 dollars for a few glasses of sprite. I was just overall very upset and disappointed. read more

We actually did not have a server at all. Thank God for the food runners because they are the only reason we ate. After 1 hour of sitting without ever having a server come to the table I asked the lady in charge if we had a server. She responded "yes, you have a server" and walked away. The bartender also had no idea what he was doing. We had to get up and wait at the bar for each drink (remember, no server), and it took 35 min each time. We heard the server for the tables next to us telling them how much stuff they were out of. He was probably 17 and running around frantically all night. If you're not lucky, you get Leann who has amnesia when it comes to who the manager is or if they even have one on staff. Go figure, everybody else works there except for MANAGERS. Went on the Cornucopia Majesty for 4th of July cruise. Entry into boat was mob scene - completely disorganized. Was sold reserved table for 4. There were no reserved tables. Service was terrible. Food was sub par. Then when we got back to the dock for our 10:30 arrival, their space was taken so we had to sit there for another hour waiting for them to dock the boat. Simply awesome is the way that I would describe the Sundancer, which was booked for my benefit through Cornucopia Cruise Line. This past Saturday night, my best friend and his wife were in town "for work" so my girlfriend planned an alternative night out. She purchased Groupon tickets for us to have dinner, dancing, and drinking on a cruise ship that was to navigate the NYC waterway. At first, I thought it was a cheesy idea but the dinners and bars around Hoboken were getting a bit old to say the least so I went with the whole idea. Little did I know, she did not purchase any Groupon tickets. What she did do, which she began months ago, was organized a surprise 30th birthday party for me with all of my friends and family members in attendance. The Groupon deal was part of her scheme to get me on board with the whole idea - pun intended. In fact, the owner of the Sundancer, Mr. Hidayet, helped her come up with the whole idea to get me on this ship. He also arranged and hired a top notch crew to service our party. The crew did an amazing job. Everyone was impressed. As for the Sundancer, it is an awesome vessel. There is a dance floor, formal dinning area, a bar, and a big lower deck. I also know there are private rooms and a kitchen because they had a wedding earlier in the day and we had an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. I was the first of us to board the ship. We were greeted by the captain and the first mate upon arrival with a stern request for our party name. After my girlfriend said her name, we were directed to the top deck. Needless to say, I didn't see what was coming next. I knew there were other people there, but I didn't realize who they were until I proceeded further through the top deck because it was so expansive. Then I heard the surprise. I was totally shocked that my girlfriend and my family arranged for this. We had two DJs provide entertainment and a videographer to document the evening. We ate, we drank, we danced, and we took pictures in front of the statue of liberty. It was a fantastic time for everyone. We had around fifty guests and the boat could have fit twice that. Upon hearing the story about how everything came to be, including how helpful the owner of the yacht, Mr. Hidayet, was in making everything a surprise for me, I wanted to let everyone know about my personal experience with Cornucopia and the Sundancer. I definitely plan on going back on the Sundancer at least one more time, if only to relive the memories of my 30th birthday. Although, I will probably organize some other event such as a client event or a larger gathering for one of the organization I'm involved with. By anyone's standards, the Sundancer proved to be the perfect setting for a great, memorable birthday. read more

Went to celebrate my parents 58th wedding anniversary. Was kind of upset that after booking the cruise they offered a Groupon and I could have saved over $100 . I called them to see if I could get the Groupon price and was told they had a strict no refund policy. I asked to speak to a manager and was told he was out and would call me. Well 3 days later no phone calls. So 7 of us went. The food was pretty good. We also had stellar weather. My advice is to check Groupon before you book. It isnt really worth the full price as it is a buffet lunch. Also they charge extra for bar drinks..that includes soft drinks. Supposedly the gratuity is included in the buffet price but is not included for bar service. So it is a bit of a rip off. For a party of 7 it cost me $428 for the brunch and around $65 extra for bar service. Very pricey. I think they owe us a free cruise for all the money I over spent by not allowing me the Groupon discount. Can only offer up 3 stars. Sorry. read more

Very disappointed! I'll start with the good. The staff was pleasant and the food was good. However, we were here for an anniversary party and no accommodations were made. (cake, and just one song that they could dance to) All though it states that they would prepare a special anniversary cake ( at a cost) on their web site, NO. was the answer when called. They weren't even nice about it. The DJ although was nice, he played horrible extremely LOUD music, catering to the wedding party with taste that were, rather tasteless. Seriously All Spanish no English? It's a shame because 10 years prior we celebrated my parents 40 year anniversary here and had a totally different experience. The cruise itself just went in circles not even approaching the Varrazanno bridge (they advertise). They used to go to the statue. In all if you want to be a part of someone else's wedding party and dance to their music (they should at least pay your bar bill) Then this cruise is for you. I have been going on these cruises since the cruise line launched in 1998 and always had a great time with family and friends. I went for the first time in quite a few years on February 16, 2013. We actually had a good time, but I was surprised they didn't serve the filet mignon with shrimp. I thought maybe it was a different menu for the Valentines Day Cruise. I made reservations for 4, but only three of us came. So, I asked if I can get credit for another cruise. They gave me a brochure with the phone number to call. In the brochure the menu listed filet mignon and grilled shrimp. I was also surprised at how dated and dingy the Cornucopia Princess has become. It's now three months later, so I use my credit to book the Mothers Day Cruise for 3 people. My mom walks with a cane so we started to walk from the car to the dock at 5:45 to give her enough time, because boarding was at 6. We get there a few minutes early and sat down at a table outdoors. It's freezing and windy. The woman at the door kept telling us we'll board in a few minutes. A few minutes turned into 50 minutes .We boarded 10 minutes to 7. The boat is supposed to set sail at 7. We're seated and they serve the hors d'oeuvres, pasta and drinks, but we never set sail. I asked a waiter when we were departing and he informed me that the Coast Guard has cancelled all of the cruises due to high winds. It would have been nice if the staff notified us while we were all freezing for 50 minutes. I would have asked to cancel our dinner and use the tickets toward a future trip. I understand they have no control over the weather, but some consideration and honesty goes a long way. Be honest and tell your guests what's going on. I ordered a pitcher of white sangria, they sent red instead, but we drank it anyway. It took a while to get our drinks in the first place. It was delicious, until we found a hair on a piece of fruit in the glass. The waiter came back with a new pitcher and apologized, but at that point we were grossed out and didn't want to risk any more hairs so we opted for water for the rest of the night. We asked that the sangria be taken off the bill and they obliged. The menu was the same boring menu from Valentines Day. No filet mignon was offered. The beef short ribs tasted like brisket. I must say they're foccacia is the best I have ever tasted. They're "International Dessert" menu consisted of chocolate cake, plain cheesecake (without fruit topping) and tirimisu. Not impressed. The employees are always nice and helpful. I just feel sorry for them because the Cornucopia has gone down in quality over the years and I just can't see how they can continue to operate this way and stay in business. Most of the reviews on the internet are negative and average 3 stars or less. I I called customer service to explain the situation and get a refund or compensation for the inconvenience. The lady was nice and understanding, but could only give me 50% off a future cruise. I told her I would never go on another cruise because I'm bored with the dinner menu and the boat is just old and run down. I enjoy ambiance, good food and entertainment for $75.00. The D.J. needs to find new employment, he was horrible and pretty much played the same music on Valentines Day. I like classics, but mix in some current music as well. They used to have live bands. I miss that. They need someone fresh. Everything needs to be fresher and current, including the menu, decor, uniforms of the servers, etc. read more

I was needlessly worried about this cruise after reading the reviews upon this site. But it was the cheapest option for a dinner cruise and that's what my bride wanted to do for her bachelorette party. The good. Super friendly attentative waiter. Water glasses were always full. Attentive to requests (including a band aid request). The food. What I was most worried about. Yes the appettizers were out of a box variety. But they were hot and tasty. Actually really enjoyed the chicken skewer. The pasta course was a suprise and nothing special but it was not bad. The salad was the weak part for me. Just lettuce and dressing... meh. The dinner choices were nicely varied though most of my table had the short ribs. Which were fork tender, hot and nicely seasoned. The roast potaoes were cooked nicely. And the chocolate cake for dessert was good for me. Staff. Besides our waiter we encountered some of crew as groups of us went exploring the different decks. They easily joked around with us and were helpful with some questions. Facilities. I'll admit I was worried. But everything was kept clean. The dinnerware and tables were newish looking. The Bad the DJ: Played songs that would have been good to dance to while dinner was being served. Played songs that were odd and I found weird to dance to after dinner (Bonjovi with a drumline background?!?!) Also as we were seated at a table close to the speakers we knew it would be hard to talk or converse sitting there. (Hence all our trips to the outter decks) but after dinner was served he turned up the volume to the point it was painful to be anywhere near our table. When we came back for dessert we had to ask for it to be turned down. Which was eventually complied with. Oh and we thoroughly enjoyed the music pumping on out onto the decks, which was not from the DJ. The sites/scenery lack there of. I know this going in that the cruise was just circling around the Raritan bay but part of me wonders why could you not just go straight out of the bay and maybe see something else for the same gas you spent circling. Admittedly all the turning and loud music did make a few of our party a little queasy. All an all I was pleasantly surprised. Had a good time. Wasn't the best OMG I have to do this again it was amazing. But it was decent. read more

I went on the dinner cruise on November 15th after an all day spa. My friend and I had an awesome time. We arrived at 7:30PM when it was about to depart, and I realized that my wallet was missing once we boarded. They were kind enough to allow me to look for my wallet. Luckily I left it in the car. We were greated at the entrance and once again when we were seated. The food was great and the dessert even better. We had a Groupon deal which made it so much nicer. I didn't care for the mix drink I ordered, Sex in the Beach, so I switched to wine. The DJ was great. He played a great selection of new and old music. He had half the crowd on the dance floor and the other half dancing by their table. I definitely recommend this cruise. I think I'll try their lunch cruise next. read more

Great food and service. We bought a Saturday lunch via Groupon. We were lucky the weather was great. You don't get to see the Manhattan skyline, but the ocean views are really really worthwhile on sunny days. read more

I should have asked for a refund after opening my car door in the parking lot to find a used condom on the ground. Glad my kids didn't see it. The boarding process was painless but once seated it took forever just to get water. Which tasted like it came from the river. The staff was friendly but very slow. Our table was on the lower deck near the dance floor and DJ. The music was much too loud and the base was so high. We spent most of the 4 hours wondering the decks and taking in the view of industrial wastelands and dilapidated buildings. The only thing missing was a garbage barge. The food was good for a buffet. If you want coffee you can only have it at dessert time. The cheesecake was good but the tiramisu was frozen. Not a family oriented options. I do not recommend this cruise to anyone except young people who just want to booze and dance. read more

The evening started out really well. It was a beautiful night and the staff was very accommodating......until dinner started. Before our entree was served the DJ started playing LOUD, hip hop music to the delight of a large party. They had already eaten. Our food had not yet been served. It was very hard for us to enjoy our food with constant reverberations of the too loud bass. When we mentioned this to the cruise director (?), she said there that she understood our frustrations but that there was nothing that could be done. A little variety in the type of music being played might have made the evening more enjoyable. Dinner music would have definitely made it more enjoyable. I would never return nor would I reccomend this evening to a friend. read more

This service was slow, they're understaffed, and the boat needs alot of work...some lights are on some aren't, and there's cheap 99 cents ornaments hanging from the ceiling. It seems as if they are disorganized also. I was really disappointed and would never come back. It's one of those buyer beware! I shouldn't have to wait 30+ minutes to get a drink..unacceptable. So badddd I don't know where to begin. Went on New Years cruise last night on the Majesty and walked off even before the boat left the pier! They don't tell you that a general admission ticket only gets you standing room for the entire duration of the cruise. Started off with what they called "cabernet" in plastic glasses with cork and all! Music was blasting from the most distorted and shaking speakers. Very disorganized and a total waste of money.
