Breakfast Burrito with Ham (can also choose bacon or sausage)
    Jane N.

Service is phenomenal! Had a few hours before our flight and wanted breakfast. They have a few breakfast items. Family loved their breakfast burritos (choose from ham, bacon, or sausage) and breakfast nachos. I chose the new avocado toast with eggs. Standard citrus avo mash spread. Located at gate J11. The restaurant is in the open terminal so you'll hear the nearby announcements. Plenty of tables that can be pushed together for larger parties. Bar seating has outlets underneath. The terminal is CHILLY COLD! Family stayed entertained watching the TV with short clips and games.

    Smashburger

Probably the best smash burger and fries I've ever had! Not bad for airport food. Quick to be seated. Our waitress was so friendly and quick. She really hydrated us with water because we were definitely dehydrated. Gets pretty busy especially with all the foot traffic.

Quick bite between layover at gate D23 in Miami. A few options for vegans on menu-wish there were more. They were out of cactus for salad and tacos, which is what I wanted-bummer. Got the black bean burger and a house salad. Okay meal, not great in terms of flavor/quality vs value buy. Quick service, lots of seating, island upbeat music, and overall decent food for airport.

During a long layover in Miami International Airport, we went to gate D23. We cruised most of the D terminal and all decided this was the place for us. We all ordered the "build your own taco" order and shared a side of fries, rice, and beans. The place was packed. Yet, our wait staff fixed us up and did it with a smile on her face. Looking around, it was clean, the food was tasty, it was easy for four people to hang out and have a conversation. Good airport food find.

    Blackened mahi mahi... delicious!
    Ilana V.

This was easily the best airport food I have ever had. Usually, I expect a quick, unremarkable meal when traveling, but this experience completely changed my expectations for terminal dining. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi served with rice. The fish was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly right, which is a rare find in an airport setting. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. The service was just as impressive as the food. The host greeted me with a very friendly attitude right at the door, and my waitress was incredibly kind. She gave great suggestions that helped me navigate the menu and ensured I had everything I needed. If you find yourself in the terminal and want a high quality meal that does not feel like typical travel food, this is the place to go.

CORONA BEACH HOUSE, terminal D at MIA. Overall, a good spot to chill when you have time to pass by at the airport FOOD -Two eggs any style - (3.5/5) - cooked to my request, potatoes were soggy. Bacon was good. -short rib & eggs (3.5/5) had to be reheated but they were good. -granola & yogurt (3/5, smaller dish in a bigger bowl. the granola was a nature valley granola bar broken up. I did expect better than a granola bar that I used to eat years ago) -coffee & black tea AMBIANCE This place is such a Miami, beach vibe that it drew me in. Neutral colored with warm lights. We sat in the high top 4 chairs but they have booth/chair seating as well. 1 large TV playing sports and 2 smaller TVs. A handful of seats at the bar too. SERVICE We were seated quickly, no wait. Our server took our order fairly quick. My husbands short rib dish was a little cold so they warmed it back up. No one likes cold food but it's a little stressful sending cold food back to get warmed and hope it doesn't get messed with. (movie: Still Waiting iykyk). The manager in red (bald head, tall) was a friendly guy and helpful on suggestions.

30$ for a small margarita. Bar tender was not nice. They have pics of frozen margaritas and fake frozen margaritas on the bar but said they don't sell frozen margaritas and charged me 30$ for this tiny thing on the rocks. Rip off then charged me auto gratuity for it all. 18%

If you are flying out of Terminal D, Gate 23, Corona Beach Restaurant has you cover with any to go order to board with you during your next flight. I tried the shrimp tacos, crispy, crunchy, fresh, and loaded with a smooth chipotle spread plus plenty of guac. It's one of their most popular dishes, and chef selection, so if you are on a hurry, don't over think it and go with this option. Big thanks to Harold for the quick service and for being super kind with the extra guac. They've also got a full bar on site, so you can grab your favorite beer or cocktail while you wait for your flight. The vibe is casual, the food delivers, and the location is as convenient as it gets if you're flying American out of this terminal. I only hive 4 stars because it doesn't have anything special or extraordinary, but delivers on the job. The perfect to go spot if you are hungry and rushing into your american flight

    Chicken tacos
    Rob F.

Located at D23 Came here due to the better reviews of all the airport restaurants and I was tired of lounge food. They had a big tv playing the game with volume. Also they had a grab-and-go for those in a rush. We ordered a chicken sandwich and fish tacos and chicken tacos. All were surprisingly solid for airport food. We weren't waiting long, Everything came out fast and was fresh. If I'm to return, I'll choose the grilled chicken sandwich as it seems most healthy and filling.

Amazing service , Hiram was an amazing server and food was pretty good for an airport. The short rib and burger were amazing and came out hot.

    Cheeseburger

Located in front of gate J12 this place is excellent: food and service are absolutely top! Restaurants within an airport are often mediocre but this Corona Beach House is surely the exception! Cheeseburgers are fantastic, fries hot and crispy. Service is marvelous and friendly. We found our go-to spot when transiting through MIA!

Pretty expensive breakfast for what we got

This was one of the most disappointing airport dining experiences I've had. I rarely write poor reviews. I ordered the chilaquiles from the breakfast menu, which is already extremely limited. The chef's service was painfully slow, and our waiter, M. E. seemed easily agitated, making the experience uncomfortable. When the food finally arrived, it was shocking. What was supposed to be chilaquiles was essentially a plate of plain chips with a very small amount of sauce lightly scattered on top. There was no substance. Paying $21 for what amounted to a plate of chips felt absurd. For an airport restaurant charging premium prices, this level of quality and service is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend chilaquiles to anyone looking for a decent meal or efficient service before a flight. On the positive, the sunny side up eggs I had put on the side we're cooked to perfection and the best part of the meal. I put the chilaquiles queso sauce it comes with on the side and thank goodness because that looks like it would've given me a stomach ache. I would recommend skipping this dish and just getting a two eggs and bacon dish to be safe. This restaurant could improve by improving the efficiency, waiter hospitality, chilaquiles sauce, adding some avocado slices and some sour cream, so this dish is not so plain. One more thing, our waiter never came to give a refill of the coffee. Service, timing and chilaquiles were terrible. We sat there with a dirty table as our waiter "M.E." never came to pick up the dishes.

Stopped by when I had a layover in Miami and had a decent experience. There was a lot more seating when you walk in than what you expect looking at it from the outside and a few TVs to keep you entertained. Service was quick and attentive, no complaints. The food was decent. I had the grilled cheese with fries which was pretty good except the sandwich had American cheese in it which tasted fake and I'm not a fan of, would have taken it off when ordering if I saw it on the menu. My friend got the pasta and liked it, said the bread was stale though. Overall: decent place for a layover in MIA if you want American food, short wait, and TVs to pass the time.

We rotate locations to keep it fair, and last month brought us to Doral. We started at a cigar shop, wandered into Sports Grill Doral... and never left. At first glance, it feels like a classic sports bar. But spend a little time there and you realize it's operating on a different level. The food is outstanding, the beer selection is strong (especially if you're into IPAs), every major game is covered across wall-to-wall screens, and they even have a DJ on certain nights. What really sets it apart is the service. The manager, Manny, and his team created an experience that felt intentional, not transactional. When they saw we wanted to play dominoes, they didn't hesitate. They set us up with a proper table on the terrace so we could enjoy cigars, order cocktails, and settle in for the night without feeling rushed. That level of awareness and flexibility is rare. If you're in the Doral area and want a place that delivers on food, drinks, atmosphere, and experience, this is it. Whether you're catching a game or running a few rounds of dominoes, this spot earns a return visit.
