absolutely great place clean and great service over all food is so good and the drinks are nice

On Thursday March 19th 2026 after disembarking from a boat tour on Biscayne Bay, we decided to stop here for a quick bite. The establishment has a large wrap around deck that has beautiful water views. Our server, I believe his name to be Eric, was friendly. He and another gentleman was working the outside area. My friend wanted some fried fish and ordered the seafood combo. I opted for an order of fish and chips. We had never eaten here so did not know what to expect. Well unfortunately for us, the food was subpar. For the size of the restaurant the food quality is that of a "greasy spoon" venue. It reminds me of the type of overpriced food one would get at a little shack on a beach somewhere. The frozen fish is heated up, perhaps refried with little to no seasonings to speak of. Served with tartar sauce/hot sauce. Being famished we ate the food and contained our disappointment. When it came time to pay the bill, our server disappeared for quite awhile. He reappeared, only to ask us if we were paying in cash? We were not. Neither were the other five patrons at the other tables. Apparently, there was some glitch in their system and they could not accept credit cards! All of us waited another 30 minutes or so. We were forced to give the place whatever cash we had available and left. I felt bad for not being able to give the server a proper tip but, relieved to pay what the meals were actually worth. On vacation. I was skeptical due to the Yelp reviews but glad we checked them out because my family loved the food! For a party of 7 it can be hard to find a restaurant with something for everyone. The rock star item was the Caribbean burger. My niece said it was the best burger of her life. My son who is very discriminating with burgers said 10/10. Other items everyone loved: Fish tacos Burger Hot honey wings Buffalo chicken dip Seafood combo with Caesar salad I guess this place is not for everyone but worked well for us. Service was great. Thankfully I read in one of the reviews that a 20 percent gratuity was included. Two weeks later my niece is still raving about the burger. Great pick! read more

As other reviewers mentioned the food was subpar and underwhelming from a portions and taste perspective. Unfortunately the service wasn't great, but our server seemed to be doing everything but cook the food. Ambiance was okay but it was a little warm in the restaurant. They could've kicked up the A/C or the ceiling fans to help with cooling the area down. I don't really recommend going to this restaurant as the sole reason for going to this destination. We went there because it had just enough to satisfy different tastes, but the execution was lacking. read more

We were meeting here before an event and the restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday around 5pm. We ordered espresso martinis, and it was the worst one I've ever had. It basically tasted like coffee. This would probably be a good place to come and watch some football and drink beer if that's your thing. I would not trust the mixed drinks. Was out for a nice scenic walk to get my steps in and decided to stop somewhere in Bayside for lunch. I saw a sign in front of Land shark for lunch starting at $11.99 so I popped in. Walked in, no one at the hostess stand. I waited a bit before I walked inside the restaurant which had a few patrons. I went over to the bar to ask about being seated. No one there either. I had made my way to the door to the patio before someone popped out and said I could sit anywhere and a server would be right over. She was pleasant enough. Finally someone came over and I Ordered a dragonfruit mocktail refresher which was good and refreshing but it didn't look or taste like dragonfruit so I waited for quite a bit to ask my server if it were the right drink and to finally place my food order. She assured me it was and took my order. For food I got the boneless buffalo wings and fries. The chicken was a little dry and not completely tossed in sauce so I wanted extra sauce in the side. My server never surfaced to check in again. Establishment was still not busy. I got up and stuck my head inside of the bar window. Still no one. Finally was able to get her attention. Took a while to get the sauce. By this time the food is getting cold. And I was a bit over it. Finished my drink and asked for my check. Realized the gratuity was included. Although this was an extremely inexpensive lunch, that little tidbit sometimes makes the difference in service since the tip is mandatory. The 3 stars is for the view and reasonable menu. The service won't be bringing me back however. read more

I can understand why they have 3 stars now should have lower honestly. Want better food seafood TRY FATTY CRAB! and pay the same for service for REAL service and real food (not promoted or know anyone associated to this Place). This place just was very disappointing. We came here on Friday 2/27/26 at around 3:30pm. The place was pretty empty, and it took us quite some time to get seated. After we were seated, it took yet again some more time for our waitress to take down our order. After placing our order we had flag down our waitress to check on the status of our order. Funny enough, shortly after asking, the food came out. The food was good, no complaints there. The biggest complaint was the wait time, given that the restaurant was not busy. I would go elsewhere next time based on their service time and attentiveness. read more

I gave a 2 star because service was friendly and it has a great view. The food, however, was not just not up to the mark, it was truly disappointing. Crab cakes were way over-seasoned. They were burnt, not blackened. They had a good amount of crab in them, but were nearly inedible. The beans that came with them were so salty, they compared only to a time when we made veggies per a recipe and added a quarter cup of salt vs a quarter teaspoon - so much so it felt like it burned. One can only hope it was a mistake and simply unnoticed! The tuna poke bowl was edible, but almost soupy in dressing and the tuna was all stuck together so each piece had to be cut separately. The onion rings were stale, lukewarm, and chewy. Then you pay $19 for a small plastic Dixie cup of Chardonnay (a bottle that retails for $14 at Total Wine). At least give me a real glass for that price? Would I go back, even if they gave us a gift card to cover our three meals and wine? There are so many great places, I would honestly have to be assured the experience would be significantly different, not just for me but for other guests as well. read more

I cannot base on my review on the food since I didn't have any, just the service and drinks. I sat at the bar and a nice bartender came over and asked for my drink order. I got the watermelon matador. It is a cocktail with watermelon Red Bull in it and I needed some caffeine. She brought me the drink and asked if I wanted food. I mentioned I was just drinking and just really needed something with caffeine in it. then she offered to give me the whole can. i am sure she probably doesn't make too many of these so having the can open is probably a waste. Really nice bartender. I was sitting there enjoying my cocktail and people watching when a group of extremely rowdy children came in and were screaming, running around the bar area by the cornhole, and jumping on chairs. I was so happy once they were seated in the dining area and not screaming near me when yet another crew of people and their loud wild children came in. One of the mother's came over and was getting a little rude with the bartender even though she hadn't done anything wrong. Seems like she was frustrated from her unruly kids running around. I finished my drink and left based on the ongoing atmosphere. Not the restaurants fault but I didn't want to listen to the screaming any longer. read more

(Late review from October - November 2022) A good spot for lunch in Miami. The view of the harbor is pleasant with the large outdoor patio. The customer service from our server (forgot her name but she was very sweet) was first rate. The fish tacos I got were yummy, but in retrospect I would have rather it was served with fries instead of tortilla chips but that's not a big deal. The fish tacos themselves were well portioned and filling for lunch. read more

The hostesses here are awful. They are not friendly and could care less if you have children in your party. Do not waste your time here. There are plenty more places to eat in this area without mediocre food. Hire and train employees that enjoy their jobs. Our experience was exceptionally disappointing, warranting a rating below one star. Visiting on a Sunday to watch football, we encountered a dismissive server, Shonda, who appeared disheveled and uninformed in appearance and knowledge of the menu. Manager Jay's response was similarly inadequate. With only five patrons, our cold food and lack of attention were noteworthy. Upon reporting our concerns to Jay, he offered no apology, merely a $7 discount on our $109 bill, with unclear reasoning. We left hungry and unsatisfied and only then understood why there were only 5 tables occupied at this huge waterfront restaurant in downtown Miami. read more

Horrible service. Sat for 10 minutes before anyone even came to our table. Watching the other tables and only 1 server showed up during the time we were waiting. When our finally arrived she couldn't have been less interested in taking our order. We ordered drinks and a meal. Total visits from the time we arrived u til we left 4 including brining the check. By the way the cheeseburger was outstanding. If it wasn't for the terrible service it would have been a great afternoon. We walked in 15 minutes before closing and were able to get a table inside where we could cool off and have a bite. Ate three bites and told the bartender (when she had a spare moment to talk) even though the place was DEAD. She spoke to the manager and they discounted my meal a whopping five dollars. Avoid this place like the plague. Spoke to the "manager" as we left. And expressed how disappointed we were. Never should have bothered talking to her. She had the personality of a ROCK. First time here and let me say, YES YES and YES again. Their seafood combo was amazing. I LOVE Cajun/Old Bay seasoning. The amount of old bay that was used was perfect. The butter was great which balanced the cocktail sauce. The entire experience was amazing. When I'm back in Miami, I will definitely be returning. Awesome job. Staff was great as well. The experience I had was like no other anywhere! Your establishment in Bayside is horrible! First, there were probably only 4 items from your menu that were available. Don't you do inventory? Where was district manager and manager when short staffed?! The floor is nasty greasy dirty! I don't know how no staff member has fallen. I don't understand how this restaurant, if you want to call it that, is still open. Kudos to Kassie, the bartender and Piper who were the front line and took all complaints from all ends! The only thing this place has going for them is the view! I ordered a spicy margarita. It was not good at all. It was very watered down. There were four of us and we did not like any of the food we ordered. Besides the shrimp cocktail appetizer, but I mean, how can you mess that up?! Tried the Poké bowl which was not good because the rice was hard. The fish tacos were dry and the fish was overcooked and tasteless. The coconut shrimp was just okay. Classic bayfront bar with nice views of the water. You'll be next to people boarding tour boats, so it can be a little noisy but good people watching. We went at 1:30pm on Easter Sunday and the place was empty. A lot of the reviews said the service was slow and I assumed we wouldn't witness that since we were some of the only people there, but I was wrong. It took a super long time to get our order taken and to get our waiter to come back after our food was dropped. We got the shrimp tacos which were fine, and the fish and chips which was super fishy. I've never had fried fish that tasted so fishy. They were very kind and replaced it for me and I got a caesar salad with shrimp which was good. Overall, the experience was fine. The food was fine. Came here for lunch with a group of 7. We were seated outside and they were able to make it happen without the sun shiny into half of our faces. Great service, although they were a little slow and inconsistent with the service. Some food came out faster than others, while drinks for some reason took longer as they were forgotten. I got their Seafood Combo, which consisted of a sampling of their LandShark® Fish & Chips, Coconut Shrimp and Fried Shrimp served with French fries, sweet pineapple dipping sauce, jalapeño tartar, and chili lime spiked aioli. Overall, this was a lot of greasy food, but know doesn't look deep fried food? Could have been shared between two people. Overall, it was okay, nothing too special. read more

All other drinks suck because they cant even get the taste of coca cola right out of their fountain there was barely any syrup in it. Coming to the food that's a whole new level of mess and suckiness because the menu looks great on paper only simply don't order any seafood here because Mc Donald's can offer you better fish at this point because I ordered the fish tacos and they smelled super fishy I couldn't even eat it and the crab cakes were the same way simply just disgusting. Great place to eat at after walking around bayside. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Staff very kind and friendly. Accommodating to big parties. They have outside sitting. They have AC but it was still hot, so I recommend trying a frozen strawberry margarita with a salt rim to keep you cool! Mango flavor is also good! read more
